Opis:
Wspomnienia uczestników robotniczego protestu w Gdyni w grudniu 1970 roku to temat artykułu. Autorka zanotowała i przedstawiła relacje z protestu i dalsze prześladowania SB wobec dwu osób. Byli to pracownik „Dalmoru” Jerzy Kowalczyk i Ewa Jażdżewska - urzędniczka w Urzędzie Pocztowym nr 9 w Gdyni. Kowalczyk opisał swoje pierwsze kroki w organizacji marszu, sformułowania listy żądań oraz opis przesłuchań, jakim poddano aresztowanych uczestników marszu. Ewa Jażdżewska opisała strzelaninę z broni ostrej do protestujących i zabójstwo młodego chłopca uczestnika pochodu, zastrzelonego z helikoptera.

Opis:
Chitosan (CS) is a polysaccharide readily used in tissue engineering due to its properties: similarity to the glycosaminoglycans present in the body, biocompatibility, non-toxicity, antibacterial character and owing to the fact that its degradation that may occur under the influence of human enzymes generates non-toxic products. Applications in tissue engineering include using CS to produce artificial scaffolds for bone regeneration that provide an attachment site for cells during regeneration processes. Chitosan can be used to prepare scaffolds exclusively from this polysaccharide, composites or polyelectrolyte complexes. A popular solution for improving the surface properties and, as a result enhancing cell-biomaterial interactions, is to coat the scaffold with layers of chitosan. The article focuses on a polysaccharide of natural origin – chitosan (CS) and its application in scaffolds in tissue engineering. The last part of the review focuses on bone tissue and interactions between cells and chitosan after implantation of a scaffold and how chitosan’s structure affects bone cell adhesion and life processes.

Opis:
Przedmiotem artykułu jest określenie poziomu predyspozycji studentów psychologii warunkujących ich zdolność do podjęcia zadań psychologa. Autorzy oparli się na teoretycznym modelu predyspozycji zawodowych J. Hollanda, zgodnie z którym określony rodzaj predyspozycji zawodowych determinuje sukces w konkretnym zawodzie; w tym przypadku w zawodzie psychologa. Celem badań było: 1) oszacowanie poziomu predyspozycji badawczych i społecznych u studentów oraz porównanie tego poziomu u studentów stacjonarnych i niestacjonarnych; 2) zidentyfikowanie czynników psychologicznych determinujących poziom predyspozycji. W badaniach wykorzystano test predyspozycji zawodowych J. Hollanda, Kwestionariusz do pomiaru inteligencji emocjonalnej INTE oraz Test Osobowości NEO-FFI. Wzięło w nich udział 133 studentów psychologii Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego. Wyniki wskazują m.in. na wyższy niż przeciętny poziom predyspozycji badawczych i społecznych u studentów oraz na szczególną rolę inteligencji emocjonalnej w kształtowaniu predyspozycji zawodowych przyszłych psychologów.
The assessment of the level of professional capacities in the psychological students is the subject of the paper. The theoretical basis was model of professional capacities by J. Holland. According to it, certain capacities may determine one’s success in the field of professional activity, in that case – in psychological work with the clinical patient/client. The aims of research were: 1) estimation of the level of scientific and social capacities in students and comparison of this level between stationary and nonstationary ones; 2) identifying psychological factors determining the level of certain capacities. The test of professional capacities by J. Holland, Inventory of Emotional Intelligence (INTE) and Five Factor Personality Inventory NEO-FFI were used. 133 students of stationary and nonstationary psychological study at the University of Łódź were investigated. The results show, among others, the higher than average level of the scientific and social capacities in the students of both group and considerably important role of emotional intelligence in the formation of the professional capacities of expected psychologists.

W artykule zaprezentowano sposób przygotowania materiałów dydaktycznych do lekcji bibliotecznych, które zostaną wykorzystane podczas wdrażania formy łączącej szkolenie tradycyjne ze szkoleniem e-learningowym tzw. blended learningu w Bibliotece Głównej Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie. Omówiono zawartość pokazu utworzonego w programie Power Point, jak również tekstu dotyczącego wyszukiwania i zamawiania książek z katalogu elektronicznego oraz pytań testowych dla studentów rozpoczynających naukę na Uniwersytecie.
The article presents the preparation of teaching materials for a library lesson to be used in the implementation of blended learning in the Main Library of the Pedagogical University in Kraków. Blended learning is a combination of traditional forms of training with e-learning. The content of the prepared PowerPoint presentation is discussed, as well as the text related to searching and ordering books from the electronic catalogue, and the test questions for students who begin their education at the University.

Opis:
Autism is a developmental disorder constituting a serious social and economic problem. Early diagnosis and starting appropriate therapy increase the chance to a child's development and thus to avoid social exclusion. Because of the difficulty in access to proper institutions and a long time from the first indications to the diagnosis, the children are being diagnosed later than they should be. Subjective, usually observational, diagnostic criteria are an additional difficulty, because the diagnosis result depend on the experience and insight of the doctor making the diagnosis. The aim of this work is to analyze the possibility of technological support of diagnosis and the evaluation of therapy progress of autistic children, especially using mobile devices. There are some solutions used in this field across the world, but most of them are experimental studies applied in few institutions. The presented study includes a questionnaire survey conducted among Polish institutions working with people with autism. The gathered answers lead to interesting conclusions. Countless institutions use mobile devices in the diagnosis. Most therapists think such support is possible. Moreover, all of them are interested in a system enabling an automatic evaluation of therapy progress for autistic children. Supporting the diagnosis process and the evaluation of therapy progress may increase the chance for independent life of autistic children, and thus decrease the social and economic costs of autism.
