In this work, the theoretical calculation of excited-state ionization potentials for 1s$\text{}^{2}$2$\text{}_{p}$ $\text{}^{2}$P$\text{}_{1}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ , 1s$\text{}^{2}$3$\text{}_{s}^{2}$S$\text{}_{1}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ , 1s$\text{}^{2}$3$\text{}_{d}^{2}$D$\text{}_{1}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ , 1s$\text{}^{2}$4$\text{}_{s}^{2}$S$\text{}_{1}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ , 1s$\text{}^{2}$4$\text{}_{p}^{2}$P$\text{}_{1}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ , and 1s$\text{}^{2}$4$\text{}_{d}^{2}$D$\text{}_{1}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ iso-spectrum series of lithium-like elements were carried out using a weakest bound electron potential model theory for nuclear charges from Z=3 to Z=18. The Breit-Pauli approximation was used for relativistic contributions. The obtained values are compared with the experimental results from literature. The overall agreement between data obtained in this work and experimental data from literature can appear to be quite good being generally within 0.1% of experimental values.

A robot is an electromechanical system, which is guided by software via electronic circuitry. In the absence of electronic systems, there is no way to make a connection between software and mechanical components. This means that all robotic systems require mechanical systems, electronic systems and software. OMNIMO, as a modular reconfigurable robot, has sophisticated electronic systems and software. Electronic system of OMNIMO includes controllers, actuators, transducers, communication units, regulators, batteries, user interface units and complementary components. In addition, OMNIMO is controlled by four different layers of software. In this paper, electronic hardware details, system integration and control software architecture of modular reconfigurable robot module OMNIMO are presented. In addition, adaptation of components and communication protocol details of hardware are given.

This study was carried out during 2012 in oil rose (Rosa damascena Mill.) production areas in Burdur province of Turkey. A total of 102 oil rose leaf samples showing virus-like symptoms were collected from 8 different locations. All oil rose leaf samples were tested for Prunus necrotic ringspot virus (PNRSV) using commercially available DAS-ELISA kit with negative and positive control. 16 samples of 102 were found to be infected with PNRSV (16%). DAS-ELISA positive samples were later inoculated onto Cucumis sativus L. cv. Cemre F1, Chenopodium quinoa Wild. and Catharanthus roseus L.G. Don. Inoculation with extracts from PNRSV-positive plants produced chlorotic local lesions on Chenopodium quinoa Wild. The symptoms was not observed on Cucumis sativus L. cv. Cemre F1 and Catharanthus roseus L.G. Don. Total RNA was extracted from leaves of oil rose samples which were positive in the DAS-ELISA and PNRSV- inoculated Chenopodium quinoa Wild. plants. Total RNA was isolated from EZ-10 spin column plant total RNA minipreps kit (Bio Basic, Canada Inc). Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) was performed using PNRSV specific primers as described by Rosner (15). The expected fragment size of 785 bp was observed after electrophoresis of PCR products in 1% agarose gel. RNA isolated from healthy Chenopodium quinoa Wild. was used as a negative control. No PCR products were amplified from this sample.

Vase life is one of the most important factors determining the marketability of cut flowers and influenced by water balance strongly. In recent years, the consumption of hydrangeas as a cut flower has gradually increased. However, the vase life of cut hydrangea flowers is short depends on wilting. Thus, this study was conducted to determine the effects of different treatments [thymol (100, 150 and 200 mgL⁻¹), 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate (8-HQS) (200 mgL⁻¹)], and their combination with and without 1% sucrose on the vase life, relative fresh weight, daily (solution uptake for 3 days) and total solution uptake of hydrangeas (Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Green Shadow’) harvested freshly. Distilled water was used as the control. Compared to the control, thymol 150 mgL⁻¹ treatment with 1% sucrose significantly increased the vase life of hydrangeas flowers in 5.80 days (from 10.7 to 16.5 days). It was also determined that same treatment increased the total solution uptake and delayed relative fresh weight loss. These results indicated that thymol treatments in combination with sucrose can be used to extend the vase life of cut hydrangea.

Opis:
Pumping stations are some of the most important facilities of water administration. Continuous operation of these facilities is of utter importance, to be able to serve at all times. Maintenance of these facilities is also crucial for uninterrupted operation. In this study, the functioning of the predictive maintenance technique, which is based on the vibration analysis, is briefly addressed, and the application of the technique in a real system is presented. In the real system, the steps that must be done in order to apply this system are shown step-by-step. At the end of the study, the failures determined by using the predictive maintenance method are analyzed, and solution suggestions are presented.

Biodegradable and sustainable products are being employed to make contributions to efforts concerning environmental protection and the reduction of oil consumption. Biodegradable fibres present a simple and notable opportunity for providing sustainable textiles. Soybean fibre is a kind of regenerated and new-generation protein plant fibre. The present work aimed to analyse the many different properties of soybean fibres. Particularly it was focused on their performance, functional, comfort and dyeing properties. In literature, there are studies regarding soybean fibres but topics mostly involved the analysis of comfort properties of the fibre. In this study, fibre structure and composition, flame and UV resistance, strength, pilling behaviour, air and water vapour permeability, water absorption, drape and dyeing properties were studied. It was indicated that soybean fibre is capable of meeting the performance, comfort and functional requirements of classical and technical textile products. The fibre has many of the good qualities of natural fibres such as tenacity, moisture regain, soft-lustrous handle, dyeability and colour fastness properties, and also has some of the functional properties of synthetic fibres such as being flame retardant and anti-ultraviolet.
Produkty biodegradowalne i odnawialne są coraz powszechniej stosowane dla ochrony środowiska naturalnego i redukcji zużycia paliw. Takim problemem są włókna naturalne w tym sojowe, będące przykładem nowej generacji włókien proteinowych. W pracy przedstawiono analizę rożnych właściwości, w szczególności ich zastosowania, funkcjonalności komfortu użytkowania i wybarwialności. W literaturze znajduje się wiele publikacji związanych z komfortem produktów z włókien sojowych, natomiast w przedstawionych badaniach zwrócono uwagę na ich strukturę i skład a, także ich palność, odporność na promieniowanie UV, wytrzymałość, piling, przepuszczalność powietrza i pary wodnej, absorpcje wody, układalność i wybarwialność. Stwierdzono, że włókna sojowe mają wiele ważnych pozytywnych właściwości charakterystycznych dla innych włókien naturalnych.

The effect of the $Al_2O_3$ coating on the charge-discharge cycling performance of spinel powder ($LiMn_2O_4$) was investigated in the range of 3.5-4.5 V at 1C. The $Al_2O_3$ coating on the surface of the spinel powder was carried out using the solution method, followed by 500C for 6 h in air. Powder X-ray diffraction pattern of the $Al_2O_3$-coated spinel $LiMn_2O_4$ showed that the $Al_2O_3$ coating medium was not incorporated in the spinel bulk structure. Scanning electron microscopy results showed that the $Al_2O_3$ coating particles were homogeneously distributed on the surface of $LiMn_2O_4$ powder particles. The $Al_2O_3$-coated $LiMn_2O_4$ retained 92.3% of its original capacity after 30 cycles, showing much better cycle ability than the bare lithium manganese oxide. The improvement of electrochemical performance is attributed to suppression of $Mn^{2+}$ dissolution into electrolyte via $Al_2O_3$ layer.

This study aims to develop an integrated control system to prevent the indoor loss of water. In general, these losses occur while using the hot water, because of forgetting to close the water batteries during the water cuts, or due to faults in washing machines, dishwashers and indoor plumbing systems. In this study, a specialized solution is developed for each type of losses. Then, the developed three subsystems were combined and transformed into an integrated system. This study shows that water losses in the housing can be prevented by using advanced technologies. There are similar systems in practice, but this study is different from the others with regard to its holistic approach, addressing all three problems together. The contribution of the system to economic and social life will be great, when water saving and environmental damage are considered.

In order to improve the cycling performance of $LiMn_2O_4$, the spinel phases base and multiple cation doped $LiMn_{1.95}Al_{0.0125}Si_{0.0125}Ti_{0.0125}Co_{0.0125}O_4$, $LiMn_{1.9}Al_{0.025}Si_{0.025}Ti_{0.025}Co_{0.025}O_4$ spinels were synthesized by the glycine-nitrate combustion process. The structures of the products were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical tests.

Recently, there has been considerable interest in $Li_4Ti_5O_{12}$ as a potential anode for use in lithium ion batteries. It has many advantages compared to the currently used graphite. It has a good reversibility but no structural change. The material has a theoretical specific capacity of 175 mAh $g^{-1}$. $Li_4Ti_5O_{12}$ powders are usually synthesized by a solid-state reaction of lithium and titanium salts. This method was generally preferred because the synthesis procedures are simple. But there are some disadvantages of solid-state methods such as larger particle size of the products, inhomogeneous distribution, lack of stoichiometry control, etc. These disadvantages can be overcome by sol-gel method. Using surfactant in sol-gel method is easy control on crystal growth and size of the desired products.
