    W artykule zostały przedstawione ogólne pojęcia gospodarki odpadami medycznymi, ich rodzaje, zasady gromadzenia i oznakowania oraz transport odpadów z miejsca powstawania do punktu ich unieszkodliwiania. Omówiono metody ich utylizacji, a także wpływ funkcjonowania spalarni na środowisko. Przytoczono aktualne regulacje prawne obowiązujące w Polsce. Przybliżono zasady funkcjonowania obiektów utylizacji odpadów medycznych. Przytoczone zostały nowelizacje ustawy o odpadach medycznych z roku 2013.
    The thesis presents the general concepts concerning. The work includes the methods of disposal as well as the import of medical waste incinerators on environment. The authors quote actual in Poland law regulations reoffering to the subject. The analysis of the main procedures relating to the effective treatment of medical waste is also discussed. The work indicates that the effective policy concerning the subject is of great importance due to its potential risks. The date set can serve as a source of information for later research on the topic. The thesis prove that medical waste is an important part of the economy. It also shows the possibilities of improving medical waste management.

    Opis:
    This paper presents water quality assessment of the Włodzienin water reservoir in the river Troja in the first period of its operation. We analyzed the quality of the water supply (Troja river and Lewicki brook) and the outflow from the reservoir as well as the quality of stored water in the reservoir. Presented results of water quality tests were performed on the dates: November 2007, January, March, July and August 2008. The tests were aimed at determining: NO3-, NO2-, NH4+, PO43-, BOD5, water pH, electrolytic conductivity, water temperature and total suspension . In addition, at the test points by the dam the measurements were performed of: water transparency (Secchi disk visibility), dissolved oxygen, and once the chlorophyll „a” was marked in July 2008. The study of water quality showed that the water flowing into the reservoir and the outflow, due to the presence of nitrate, BOD5 and total suspension, was classified into surface waters that exceed water quality class II. In addition, the tested water from the reservoir Włodzienin was considered as eutrophic water due to the presence of nitrates, and it was found that the water is not sensitive to nitrogen compounds from agricultural sources. During the study it was found that the water reservoir was subjected to thermal stratification. The abrupt changes in temperature and dissolved oxygen has been reported and they were increasing with the water depth. According to studies the quality of the water passing through the Włodzienin water reservoir improves, and it especially regards to the content of nitrates and phosphates. The reduction of the: BOD5, electrolytic conductivity, water temperature, and total suspension has been observed. Currently, Włodzienin reservoir is on the first stage of reservoir operation, that is destroying river and land complexes. In order to make better observation and characteristics of the next steps of the reservoir operation, the study of water quality and ecosystem of the reservoir should be continued.

    W ramach European Research Area trwają prace nad konstrukcją macierzy teleskopów wykorzystujących zjawisko promieniowania Czerenkowa do obserwacji kosmosu w zakresie promieniowania o bardzo dużych energiach, rzędu 100GeV do 100TeV. Autorzy przedstawiają koncepcję budowy cyfrowej kamery teleskopu, opartej w dużej mierze na szybkich, szeregowych interfejsach danych, możliwych do implementacji w zaawansowanych układach FPGA. W artykule porównano opracowaną koncepcję z innymi, proponowanymi dotychczas. Przedstawiono również wybrane szczegóły konstrukcyjne.
    One of the main astrophysical topics within the European Research Area is construction of Cherenkov Telescope Array. It is destined for observations of the space in very high energy gamma radiation ranges (100GeV to 100TeV). The authors of the paper introduce a serial concept of the digital camera for the CTA telescope. The concept is based on very fast serial ports, existing in high-performance FPGAs. Serial ports are intended to be used in the design for inter-chip, as well as for inter-board communication. The paper compares the described concept with another, proposed so far. All Cherenkov observatories existing so far exploit the analog or digital data acquisition along with analog trigger circuit. Implementing the trigger circuit in the digital domain enables full reconfigurability of the camera. It allows fitting the trigger algorithm to the current needs and improving it due to the gathered experience. However, digital processing of signals from 1…2k photomultipliers in each camera induces a very complex circuit. To simplify the design there is proposed applying quad ADCs with serial outputs of 500 Mbps to 4 Gbps. It will allow reduction of the required number of PCB layers. Another proposed improvement is integration of signals, connecting clusters of 16 photomultipliers with the central board. Embedding the synchro-start signal within the clock signal, as well as transmission of all remaining data through the 2-pair, 2-way Common Serial Interface reduces the number of the required twisted pairs to only 3. Both above propositions reduce the number of cables and connectors by 9. Additionally, there are explained a few construction details of test designs.

    The following paper analyses selected problems regarding the impact of technological parameters and the type of adherend material on the strength of adhesive-bonded steel sheet joints. The subject of the test was a single-lap adhesive joint of S235JR steel sheet. Joints were formed on two types of substrates: with or without corrosion products on the surface. The surface of steel sheet adherends was pre-treated with three cleaning solutions: acetone, Wiko industrial degreasing agent and Cortanin F anti-corrosion agent, depending on the state of the surface. Adhesive joints were formed with Epidian 53/ET/100:15 epoxy adhesive. The formed joints were subjected to one of three ageing variants: 14 days, two months and 3 months, which were followed by destructive testing to determine the shear strength of joints. The analysis of results obtained in the tests indicates that the strength performance of adhesive joints of corrosion-free adherends was characterised by higher values than in corroded steel sheets, regardless of ageing time.

    Opis:
    This paper describes strength evaluation for D4CS4 FA20.25 bracket, mounted in tractors of the URSUS Company. The analysis was based on stress modelling, supported by the finite element method (FEM). It was assumed in the model that the studied element was made of ductile cast iron and subject to three forces at three support points. Stress distribution simulations were run for various boundary conditions in order to identify the areas most exposed to cracking hazards. On this basis, engineering changes were introduced to increase the mechanical strength of the bracket with maximum cost-effectiveness of its production.
    W artykule opisano analizę wytrzymałościową wspornika D4CS4 FA20.25 montowanego w ciągnikach firmy URSUS. Analizę przeprowadzono w oparciu o modelowania naprężeń metodą elementów skończonych (MES). W modelu założono, że element badany jest wykonany z żeliwa sferoidalnego, który był obciążony trzema siłami w trzech punktach podparcia. Przeprowadzono symulacje rozkładu naprężeń dla różnych warunków brzegowych w celu wyodrębnienia obszarów najbardziej narażonych na pękanie. Na tej podstawie wprowadzono zmiany konstrukcyjne, zwiększające wytrzymałość wspornika przy minimalizacji kosztów jego wykonania.
