    Opis:
    Terroryzm - na większą lub mniejszą skalę - był obecny na przestrzeni wieków. Przykładowo, w  okresie rewolucji francuskiej terror stanowił ,,instrument zarządzania” stworzony przez państwo rewolucyjne w  celu zaprowadzenia porządku w  przejściowym i  chaotycznym okresie niepokojów1. Zgodnie ze współczesną definicją, zaproponowaną w 1992 r. przez A.B. Schmidta z Wydziału Przestępczości ONZ: Terroryzm (łac.), różnie umotywowane ideologicznie, planowane i  zorganizowane działania pojedynczych osób lub grup skutkujące naruszeniem istniejącego porządku prawnego, podjęte w celu wymuszenia od władz państwowych i społeczeństwa określonych zachowań i świadczeń, często naruszające dobra osób postronnych. W dzisiejszych czasach mamy do czynienia z  globalnym wymiarem terroryzmu, który swoim zasięgiem obejmuje wszystkie kontynenty. Głównym celem ataków terrorystycznych jest zabicie jak największej liczby przypadkowych osób w  celu nadania rozgłosu swoim działaniom, wywołania lęku (strachu) w  społeczeństwie oraz obnażenia bezradności służb odpowiedzialnych za bezpieczeństwo społeczne2. Ugrupowania terrorystyczne często nie dysponują zaawansowanym technologicznie sprzętem. Dlatego, aby osiągnąć zamierzony cel swoich działań, wykorzystują (w  większości przypadków) improwizowane urządzenia
    The article discusses the method of detecting triacetone triperoxide (TATP) in the form of vapours and surface traces using gas chromatography with a thermal desorption system of mass spectrometry (TD-GC/MS). The technical solutions of analytical equipment make it possible to choose one or two methods for introducing analyte vapour for identification – indirectly from the TENAX TA deposit or directly from the research objects. In addition, the use of the GERSTEL CIS element as a substance concentrator renders identification of even nano-trace amounts of TATP possible. The article presents the experimental procedure of the thermal desorption TD-GC/MS and simultaneously draws attention to physical properties of the substance determining the achievement of satisfactory results.

    The introduction of a simulator of Police actions in crisis situations to police training of command skills made it necessary to know the ongoing relationship between training on the simulator and the actual actions of the Police. Visualisation of the effects of decisions taken by commanders in a virtual simulation environment, ending in most cases in the escalation of the threat, trigger off analytic mechanisms and awareness of responsibility for the life and health of people and the officers carrying out commands issued by commanders and other persons taking part in the simulation. Simulation training provides the opportunity to observe the ongoing relationship between cells of the command structure adopted by commanders, depicting among others, the sources of errors and threats of destabilisation of commanding process. There are various scenarios that are possible to play including elements such as: police riot, crowd aggression level, and weather conditions. Based on the feedback from simulation training participants, who are mostly those responsible for commanding processes while performing daily duties, it is reasonable to say that the training conducted on the Police simulator in crisis situations allows the commanding skills and abilities to be significantly shaped. What is more, as the simulator is a universal tool, it enables cooperation training to be conducted with non-police entities, the fire brigade, medical emergency, city guard, and crisis management teams.

    Opis:
    The main objective of this paper is to present an example of the IT system implementation with advanced mathematical optimisation for job scheduling. The proposed genetic procedure leads to the Pareto front, and the application of the multiple criteria decision aiding (MCDA) approach allows extraction of the final solution. Definition of the key performance indicator (KPI), reflecting relevant features of the solutions, and the efficiency of the genetic procedure provide the Pareto front comprising the representative set of feasible solutions. The application of chosen MCDA, namely elimination et choix traduisant la réalité (ELECTRE) method, allows for the elicitation of the decision maker (DM) preferences and subsequently leads to the final solution. This solution fulfils all of the DM expectations and constitutes the best trade-off between considered KPIs. The proposed method is an efficient combination of genetic optimisation and the MCDA method.

    Introduction. Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT) is currently one of the most commonly diagnosed and commonly hereditary sensorimotor neuropathies. Concluding from the literature, this is the first study describing the case of a patient with CMT disease in the c.217G> C variant of the INF2 gene and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. Aim. To present a case of a 16-year-old patient suffering from CMT disease in variant c.217G> C of the INF2 gene and focal glomerulosclerosis. Description of the case. The text describes the CMT disease in a patient who underwent the WES / WGS-NGS genetic test and found a mutation within the INF2 gene at the chromosomal position hg38 14: 104701582-G> C, cDNA level c.217 G> C , notation at the p protein level (Gly73Arg). Genotype record according to Human Genome Variation Society: NM_022489.4: c. [217G> C]; [217 =]. The publication includes data on genetics, molecular mechanisms of the disease, diagnostic methods, rehabilitation and surgical treatment. Conclusion. CMT disease is a heterogeneous group of diseases caused by mutations in various genes. The incidence of this pathology has increased significantly in the last century. Currently, there are no treatments available to combat this disease, and symptomatic treatment is the only treatment available.
