    W artykule przedstawiono ewolucję systemów informatycznych w logistyce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem systemów klasy WMS. Celem autora było zebranie informacji na temat rynku systemów WMS w Polsce, rozwoju tych systemów na rynku krajowym i rynku zagranicznym oraz wskazanie podstawowych trendów rozwoju tego typu narzędzi w przyszłości. Bazą do badań stały się publikacje z literatury krajowej i zagranicznej poświęcone tematyce systemów informatycznych do zarządzania magazynem. Autor podjął próbę postawienia diagnozy na temat aktualnego stanu informatyzacji polskich przedsiębiorstw w obszarze systemów WMS, a także potencjału rozwoju tego typu systemów. W artykule wskazano kilka podstawowych trendów rozwoju systemów klasy WMS w oparciu o aktualną sytuację gospodarczą i wymagania stawiane współczesnej logistyce. Autor stawia tezy, że rozwój systemów klasy WMS bezpośrednio związany jest ze zmianą wymagań stawianych logistyce oraz że patrząc na aktualne trendy w gospodarce światowej, należy spodziewać się dalszego rozwoju systemów klasy WMS w najbliższej przyszłości.
    The article presents the evolution of IT systems in logistics, with particular emphasis on WMS systems. The author's goal was to collect information about the WMS market in Poland, development of these systems on the domestic and foreign market, and indicate the basic trends in the development of such tools in the future. The basis for research became publications from domestic and foreign literature, with a subject of IT systems for warehouse management. Author has attempted to make a diagnosis about the current state of informatization of Polish enterprises in the field of WMS, as well as the potential development of such systems. The article indicates a few basic trends in the development of warehouse management systems, based on the current economic situation and the requirements set for modern logistics. The author puts forward the thesis that the development of WMS class systems is directly related to the change of requirements for logistics and that looking at current trends in the global economy; we should expect further development of WMS systems in the nearest future.

Tramwaj towarowy w Dreźnie, dostawy przesyłek kurierskich w Amsterdamie czy projekt wsparcia logistyki miejskiej w wybranych miastach i krajach, za pomocą struktur globalnie działającego operatora logistycznego – to przykłady działań, w których globalna strategia rynku usług dopasowana zostaje do potrzeb lokalnych. Celem artykułu jest poznanie wzajemnych relacji pomiędzy zjawiskami globalizacji a uwarunkowaniami lokalnymi poszczególnych ośrodków miejskich.

    W artykule dokonano identyfikacji i określenia charakterystyki związku pomiędzy rozwojem transportu autonomicznego w mieście a budowaniem zrównoważonej strategii miasta. Innowacyjne rozwiązania transportowe stają się coraz ważniejszym elementem w debacie na temat rozwoju zrównoważonych miast. Niestety obecnie nie ma ustrukturyzowanej polityki miejskiej w tym obszarze. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie sposobów kształtowania autonomicznej mobilności w oparciu o strategię zrównoważonego rozwoju miasta. Problemem badawczym poruszonym w artykule jest wpływ strategii zrównoważonego rozwoju miasta na rozwój autonomicznej mobilności. Dodatkowo wskazano wybrane wnioski z badania ankietowego, przeprowadzonego w polskich miastach.
    The article contains the identification and characteristics of the relationship between the development of autonomous transport and building a sustainable city strategy. Innovative transport solutions are becoming more and more important in debates on shaping the development of sustainable cities. However, currently there are no structured urban policies combining the two issues. Hence, the aim of this article is to identify the possibilities of creating the development of autonomous mobility based on the sustainable development strategy of the city. The research problem is to determine how the city's sustainable development strategy can affect the development of autonomous mobility. For the purposes of the study, biggest Polish cities were analyzed.

    The main objective of this paper is to present an example of the IT system implementation with advanced mathematical optimisation for job scheduling. The proposed genetic procedure leads to the Pareto front, and the application of the multiple criteria decision aiding (MCDA) approach allows extraction of the final solution. Definition of the key performance indicator (KPI), reflecting relevant features of the solutions, and the efficiency of the genetic procedure provide the Pareto front comprising the representative set of feasible solutions. The application of chosen MCDA, namely elimination et choix traduisant la réalité (ELECTRE) method, allows for the elicitation of the decision maker (DM) preferences and subsequently leads to the final solution. This solution fulfils all of the DM expectations and constitutes the best trade-off between considered KPIs. The proposed method is an efficient combination of genetic optimisation and the MCDA method.

    Opis:
    Incorporating human subjectivity in applied disciplines of social sciences and other base sciences poses a challenge as the nature of qualitative data is often the point of contention. Q methodology is a tool that addresses this challenge as it helps quantify qualitative data using Q factor analysis. Initially developed for psychology and political sciences, Q methodology now finds its use in many research disciplines of science, especially in interdisciplinary studies that take into account human subjectivity. This article provides a detailed description on the various steps involved in conducting a Q study, with special emphasis on data interpretation. To describe the methodology and demonstrate data interpretation, we used data from our pilot case study of socio-ecological nature that documents attitudes of people towards nature conservation on private land. Additionally, we mention the specific usefulness of this method, highlight the potential challenges at each step of the approach, and provide practical advice to overcome them. In our opinion, Q methodology has been more restricted in its use on the ground of being a more social or psychological tool, and therefore, our aim is to familiarize researchers who could be interested in a mixed approach of joining quantitative data analysis with qualitative, in-depth interpretation with the approach at hand.

    Alarming plastic production growth worldwide reinforces the public debate about the prevailing environmental crisis, whereby single-use-plastic (SUP) items are considered as by far the most harmful to the environment and public health. Accordingly, European environmental policy aims at eliminating SUP. Recently, we presented a model of plastic governance that derives from a circular economy approach identifying and taking into consideration perspectives of different actors in the plastic governance, such as producers, wholesalers, shop keepers, consumers, citizen scientists, and academia. Our results illustrate that the vast majority of stakeholders cared for the natural environment and understood the need to phase out SUP from the global economy. We proposed that a knowledge brokerage, undertaken by scientists via means of citizen science, as the most effective method to implement elimination policy, as it provides stakeholders with knowledge on why and how to handle SUP issues. However, at the time of the global COVID-19 pandemic, a plastic governance model required a re-assessment. The perceived role of SUP has changed, as it reflects the health emergency. Namely, due to the health safety reasons stakeholders and consumers are requesting even more SUP than previously. Following up on our data gathered prior to the pandemic, we suggest that under the new circumstances health concerns outweigh the environmental concerns being determined by a shift in the value hierarchization. The paper discusses preliminary results.

    Opis:
    The time-consuming technological process of manufacturing impellers and the high production costs are the reason for the search for alternative materials and manufacturing methods. In this paper, based on a literature analysis, the performance of a pump with an impeller that was manufactured by an incremental method from polyethylene terephthalate with an admixture of glycol and carbon fibre (PETG CF) was selected and studied. Operation tests were conducted on the ship’s rotodynamic pump test bench. The composite impeller pump was shown to have an efficiency at the selected printing parameters of 26,23%, comparable to a tin bronze impeller, which has an efficiency of 27,7%. The maximum pump useful power with the impellers tested was 337 W at a flow rate of 4.42 m3/h. The results confirm that, with a filament layer height of 0.12 mm and 100% fill in the four print contours, the pump characteristics obtained are consistent with those of the reference impeller. This fact ensures continuous operation of the ship’s pump for 48 hours which makes the chosen manufacturing method a reliable emergency method of impeller repair in offshore operations.
