    The article aims to present the structure and key features of the internetbased bilingual(German and English) Thesaurus Logistics, developed by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau in cooperation with the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics (ISL) and Institue of Logistics and Warehousing (ILiM). The comprehensive Thesaurus Logistics is based on the most advanced tools used for the developing of thesauri, namely: iQvoc and SKOS.

    Opis:
    Red fly agaric poisoning is rare. It can be consumed for suicidal purposes or its psychedelic effect. The paper describes the case of a young men, who fell into a coma after ingestion of the red toadstools. Quick identification of the poison, early use of gastric lavage and symptomatic treatment resulted in regression of symptoms and lead to the patient's discharge from the hospital on the third day after intoxication. Authors discussing the poisonous alkaloids contained in the red toadtools: ibotenic acid, muscimol, muscasone and muscarine and theirs properties, responsible for the symptoms of intoxication.

    Driven by sociolinguistic inspirations, the authors make an attempt to assess the teaching of German logistics language in Poland for professional purposes against a broadly understood logistic education and emphasize the aspect of close correlation of the linguistic training outcome with the labor market demand. The intention of the authors is to highlight an important component of the education environment, namely the need to interrelate the proper content-oriented knowledge with linguistic skills of the logistic secondary school students and the university level students dealing with logistics.

    The article presents current issues regarding combined freight transport terminals (CFT terminals) in Germany, with particular attention to road/rail transport and the implementation of the latest technologies of rail/road handling of rolling stock in terminals. The brief description of the state of current knowledge about combined freight transport terminals in both organizational and technological aspects are introduced. Considerations are focused on the description of the development of selected facilities and trends in the field of terminal operations. Examples of currently implemented projects and best practices, especially the implementation of digital solutions, are presented.

    This article discusses the soft power of China and its impact on public opinion in Poland. It examines various aspects of Chinese culture, politics, and economy, as well as the tools used by China to promote its soft power in Poland. The article presents the results of the survey, which show that the overall opinion of China in Poland is neutral, despite China’s efforts to promote its soft power in the country. However, the survey also reveals that Polish respondents have a positive view of Chinese culture and economy, while their perception of Chinese politics is negative. The article concludes that China’s soft power in Poland is still limited, but it has the potential to grow in the future, particularly through the promotion of Chinese culture and the Chinese economy.

Komponent technologiczny e-commerce oraz nacisk na innowacyjność w Przemyśle 4.0 stwarza ogromny potencjał biznesowy i rozwojowy, co implikuje znaczące korzyści w postaci m.in. zwiększenia efektywności produkcji, poprawy jakości obsługi klienta oraz wzrostu sprzedaży. Celem artykułu jest podkreślenie kluczowej roli danych jako łącznika oraz logistyki jako wspólnego elementu między branżą e-commerce a Przemysłem 4.0.
    An increasing number of exploiters (users and maintainers) of technical means requires taking action aimed at providing such people with appropriate living space, including in the workplace, which will be adapted to their needs and in which these means will fulfill their tasks in accordance with their intended use. The aim, as a result of which these activities are undertaken, should be to ensure appropriate conditions for functioning in the space in question. Therefore, it is necessary to develop methods and techniques for assessing the quality of life that will enable the collection, processing and analysis of spatial data. This need prompted the author to review in the literature model solutions in the discussed area, taking into account the aspect of space, and to propose a concept of using the above-mentioned methods in improving the quality of life of the older people.
