    The predominant aim of this publication is to perform a comprehensive analysis of the Third Wave of terrorism, the definition of which was proposed by an American professor, David Charles Rapoport. The author of this paper has decided to refer back to his considerations in his earlier work and to define yet another wave of terrorism basing on chosen political events, which took place during the so-called New Left wave. Within the scope of this article, more recent events that are strictly connected with safety and methods utilized during terrorist attacts are touched upon.

    The predominant goal of this article is to present both the origins and the development of the process of a food product embargo introduction by the Russian Federation. Basing on his own experiences, the author presents the evolution of the Russian embargo from the Polish point of view, as said country has been severely experiencing disadvantages connected with the inability to sell food products to its neighbor, especially when it comes to apples Poland is the biggest producer of in Europe. The major issue touched upon within this publication is the very nature of the embargo – the analysis of whether it is one of the goals of foreign policy realized by Russia and being the response to sanctions adopted after the military intervention in Ukraine or an internal policy aiming at the proper realization of the Food Safety Doctrine.

    Opis:
    One of the consequences of the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine, which began in February 2014, has been the consolidation of efforts by most Western countries seeking to support the freedom-fighting Ukrainians: politically, financially, militarily and humanitarily. Support for Ukraine, expressed by the vast majority of the media, has grown as the scale of Russian crimes in Ukraine has been revealed and the resistance of Ukrainians has become more effective. From the dominant anti-Russian rhetoric in Europe, also expressed by the organs of the European Union and the Visegrad Group, the position of the Hungarian government clearly diverged in some aspects. The purpose of this paper is to try to clarify this position based on the facts about the importance of Russia in the Hungarian energy sector and the priorities of Hungarian foreign policy in maintaining stable supplies and prices of energy resources. Based on the events that have taken place since the beginning of the political transition, the author discusses the impact that the mechanisms of the Russian Falin-Kvitsynsky doctrine have on Hungary's energy security policy.
    Jednym z następstw rozpoczętej w lutym 2014 roku zbrojnej agresji Federacji Rosyjskiej na Ukrainę jest konsolidacja wysiłków większości państw zachodnich, starających się wspierać walczących o wolność Ukraińców: politycznie, finansowo, militarnie i humanitarnie. Poparcie dla Ukrainy, wyrażane przez ogromną większość mediów, wzrastało w miarę, jak ujawniana była skala rosyjskich zbrodni na Ukrainie i jak coraz skuteczniejszy okazywał się opór Ukraińców. Od dominującej w Europie antyrosyjskiej retoryki, wyrażanej także przez organy Unii Europejskiej i Grupy Wyszehradzkiej, w niektórych aspektach wyraźnie odbiegało stanowisko węgierskiego rządu. Celem niniejszej pracy jest próba wyjaśnienia tego stanowiska w oparciu o fakty dotyczące znaczenia Rosji w węgierskiej energetyce oraz priorytety węgierskiej polityki zagranicznej w zakresie utrzymania stabilnych dostaw i cen surowców energetycznych. W oparciu o wydarzenia jakie miały miejsce od początku transformacji ustrojowej, autor dyskutuje wpływ, jaki na politykę bezpieczeństwa energetycznego Węgier wywierają mechanizmy rosyjskiej doktryny Falina-Kwicińskiego.

    This article presents the analysis of two initial terrorism waves proposed by an American professor, David Charles Rapoport. In the first part of the dissertation, the author is going to present issues connected with the impossibility of coining a universal definition of terrorism and postulates the need of examining the waves of terrorism. In the further part of the paper, the author presents his considerations based on selected political events which took part during two waves of terrorism. At the end, the author provides an answer to the question of what differences there were between terrorist actions before the First World War and during initial decades after its conclusion. Within the scope of the paper, references to current events strictly relating to security and methods used to deal with terrorist attacks are also provided.

    In the first part of the article, being the introduction to further considerations, the author familiarizes the reader with the political history of Georgia, predominantly by focusing on the origins of various conflicts, including those with the Russian Federation, which to a significant extent influence the foreign policy of Georgia even today. Within the scope of the next part of the dissertation, the current economic situation of the country in question is depicted, including its tendency to tightening bonds with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and the European Union, regardless of its presidents’ political views and the specificity of the ruling party. Finally, the author attempts to answer the question of what the likelihood that Georgia will join the aforementioned organizations is, especially while taking into account current geopolitical events that may have an impact on the „openness” policy of the European Union, as well as what the direction of further development of NATO will be after the recent change on the position of the president of the United States.
