    Стаття окреслює викликані розвитком цифрових технологій зміни, зафіксовані в галузі енциклопедичної справи на прикладі підготовки окремих новітніх видань в мережі Інтернет ("Scholarpedia" та "Scholarly Community Еncyclopedia"). З появою кількадесят років тому електронних енциклопедій галузь отримала інновацію у вигляді мультимедійності енциклопедичного контенту та швидкості його пошуку. Проте нині розвиток електронної енциклопедистики набуває ознак переходу від формальних змін до якісних, пов'язаних із вдосконаленням енциклопедичної інформації та її підготовки. Зокрема, модель створення таких видань, як "Scholarpedia" та "Scholarly Community Еncyclopedia" засвідчує нові підходи до організації енциклопедичної справи, відмінні від традиційних, що розширюють можливості для підвищення якості енциклопедій, виходу їх на новий рівень.
    The article describes the changes in the sphere of encyclopedia publishing (online encyclopedic practice) on the example of some notable Internet resources (Scholarpedia and Scholarly Community Encyclopedia) caused by the development of digital technologies. With the appearance of electronic encyclopedias in the late 20th century, the encyclopedic activity has innovated with the multimedia content and the speed of its search. However, today digital encyclopedic practice is moving from formal to qualitative changes associated with the improvement of encyclopedic content and its building. In particular, the model of creating the analyzed in this article the Scholarpedia and the Scholarly Community Encyclopedia shows new approaches to the organization of encyclopedic practice that are different from the traditional ones. It expands the opportunities for improving the quality of encyclopedias as well as reaching them to a new level.

    The paper researches theory and methodology for development of state programmes for sustainable development. The focus is made on the distribution of powers and responsibilities for the implementation of environmental projects and schemes. Emphasis is put on specific life cycles analysis of the relationship between relevant environmental protection and economic institutions. Various aspects of regional sustainable development programmes both drafting and implementation are researched in the context of Ukraine alignment with the European Union. Problems of monitoring the effectiveness of such programmes at the regional level are considered.

    Opis:
    In this article, Ukrainian encyclopedias are studied in order to show how they describe the capture of Crimea by the Russian Federation. The authors focus on terms describing the act of aggression of the RF against the Ukrainian peninsula, such as “annexation” and “occupation”. The fact is that there is still no terminological clarity among scholars, therefore, it is not easy to interpret both the events of spring 2014 and the political and legal consequences of these events. The fact is also that scholarly studies of these problems are a contribution to the formation of the policy for Ukrainian Crimea de-occupation. Results of the article show that in some encyclopedias the terms “annexation” and “occupation” are actually used interchangeably, referring to the Russian invasion of Crimea and the capture of this territories by RF. In others, differences in the meaning of these concepts are presented: the occupation of Crimea is called a violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine by the RF; the annexation of Crimea is the illegal annexation of the occupied territories by the RF.

    How to write an article on Wikipedia is a question that is relevant for many people who contribute to this reference web portal. The creators of Wikipedia have provided various sources from which you can find answers to the main questions. The authors of this study aimed to identify and analyze the main recommendations offered to users who write or edit Wikipedia articles. The results of the study suggest that the basic rules for writing and editing articles include the following: using information from published materials and avoiding personal ideas, opinions, considerations, reflections, dubious or unproven facts; using published materials from reliable independent sources that can be verified; presenting facts, interpretations, and theories without editorial sympathies or bias in order to achieve neutrality (a neutral point of view); and providing complete information covering all aspects that must be described proportionally according to their importance. The authors conclude that these rules are logical and reasonable and are best suited for amateurs who, without adequate knowledge and experience, aim to write acceptable reference content.

    The monograph is devoted to issues of the digital encyclopedic practice in view of experience of contemporary socio-humanities. This book presents the history of the emergence and spread of electronic encyclopedias in Ukraine and worldwide, clarifies their features, traces the correlations of electronic and paper encyclopedias.     Authors have produced new polymer-based composite material DK-6(PT) for substitution of Moglice (Diamant) polymer. We manufactured and used sliding-friction test apparatus (pin-on-disc) capable of testing three specimens simultaneously, much reducing time for the test. The monitoring of the material curing process and the Shore hardness test indicate minor difference from reference material. Measurements were carried out during the curing period, since it is important to know change in this parameter over time. The wear test proved that DK-6(PT) composite in the long-time test has good wear resistance: over 80 km of the friction path, the wear loss of both materials is approximately the same. Furthermore, the friction factor of DK-6(PT) is 5–10% less than that of Moglice. Thus, the studied new polymeric composite may compete with well-known material Moglice and significantly cut the expenses for reconditioning of worn slide ways of metal working equipment.
