- In the wake of ecology, man's image of himself and his relationship with- the envi ronment is changing. eTh question arises: what are the implications of the so-called 'ecological revolution' in terms of values? One of the most profound changes is th rejection of the anthropocentrism of that ideology of uncontested dominion ov nature which justifies the idea that it exists only for man, for his utility and pleasu In this context, the environmental issue is also a problem of ethical and education interest, extending the boundaries to the universe and all living forms. hTis paper presents an overview of the most discussed themes of environmental pedagogy, also in relation to technology. In particular, the relationship betw bioethics and ecology is considered, which, in the light of a reinterpretation of t environmental problems of our time, tends towards a vision of man as a benevolent and ethically responsible administrator, thus giving strength to an ecopedagogi education that focuses on man's respect for nature as a whole.
