L’article présente deux études les plus récentes: P . Lamarche Zacharie IX—X IV. Structure littéraire en messianisme (Études Bibliques), Paris 1961 et de B. Otzen, Studien über Deuterosacharja (Acta Theologica Danica, vol. VI), Copenhagen 1964, dont les auteurs pensent pouvoir resoudre le problème assez difficile de la composition littéraire de Zacharie 9—14. P. Lamarche recourt à l’hypothèse d’une structure littéraire artificielle faisant appel à des complexes harmonieusement groupés à l’aide d’articulations et de parallelismes. B. Otzen trouve, par contre, en Deutéro-Zacharie les quatres traditions (Zach 9—10, 11, 12—13 e t 14) découvrant à la base de chacune d’elles le „kultisch-liturgisches Schema”. L’article a pour but d’attirer l’attention sur le fait que selon B. Stade (1881) ce sont les premiers exégètes qui parlent de l’unité de composition littéraire dans Zacharie 9—14. Ils en soulignent le caractère eschatologique e t apocalyptique par les groupements des vers qui s’organisent à l’intérieur en une construction littéraire harmonieuse et très expressive en chiasme. C’est justement leur méthode qui nous aide à nous familiariser avec cette manière de composer et à pénétrer dans la pensée de l’auteur inspiré. Ces études par l’analyse des structures de chaque partie et du livre tout entier prouvent que Zacharie 9—14 appartient à la littérature de l’époque perse.

The article is part of the introductory chapter of a monograph on the subject: The Word of Jahwe about Nations in the Books of the Prophetic Writers. The author gives a review of the opinion of the exegetes of our century, on the question of whether the prophets were interested, and to what a degres, in political metters especially in those which concerned the relationship of the chosen people to its neighbours. The opinions of the exegetes in this matter are of a very wide range, from the extremity (the prophets are agents of foreign powers or they are utopians) — to level — headed opinions generally prevailling today, according to which the prophets were men of God engaged in political affairs in so far as the necessity of taking an interest in those problems was dictated by their mission and calling. The author considers that this statement is of great importance for further studies, because it should facilitate the correct interpretation of the prophecies of those men of God as to foreign nations.

L’objet de l’étude est la péricope Ez 47, 1-12, analysée par l ’auteur sous ses trois aspects: aspect théologique, son originalité et son influence sur la littérature biblique ultérieure. L’importance théologique de l’oracle réside dans le fait que l’eau prenant sa source au seuil du temple est un signe manifestant la présence de Dieu qui apportera, quand viendront les temps eschatologiques, sa bénédiction à son peuple et assurera la fertilité à tout le pays, principalement au désert et à la Mer Morte dont il fera le jardin divin. L e fait suppose évidemment la rémission des péchés et la purification des humains. Professant cet oracle, le prophéte restait probablement sous l’influence des idées du livre de la Genèse 2, 10-14 et du Psaume 46, 5. Son texte à lui influa par la suite sur d’autres oracles du même caractère, formulllées par les prophètes Joel (4, 18), Deutéro-Zacharie (14, 8) et sur la dernière vision apocalyptique du Nouveau Testament, transmise par le L ivre de Révélation de Saint-Jean (Rév. 22, 1-2). Les idées principales au sujet de la source d’eau vive rappelent, dans ces textes, la description de la création dans le Livre de la Genèse.

The author deals with the problem of the role played by foreign nations in the religious life of Israel as the people of  Yahwe . He examines the prophetic oracles of the Old Testament where the foreign nations were mentioned in a general way i. e. without their names (about 530 vs.). His conclusions are as follows: The idea that the alien nations were a tool of punishment i the hand of God appeared earlier in the prophetic writings than the idea that the alien nations were an object of Yahwe’s salvific care. Punishments and calamities sent by heaven upon sinful nations were a warning or a kind of instruction for Israel that Yahwe was the upright judge of all mankind. The nations, since they witnessed the special care of Yahwe toward the chosen People, exercised a greater or a lesser impact on the implementation of the convenant of Israel. This happened in two ways: negatively (bringing about in Israel feelings of horror, shame or fear of God) and positively (awaking an awarness of the duty to give a good example and to witness for God). In the later prophetic writings the idea emerged that the alien nations were to be gained for Yahwe, but this was more a passive than an active attitude. The prophetic utterences about the nations not mentioned by name were moral and religious admonitions and were not concerned with political affaires. Those admonitions, down the centuries, became more and more eschatological and at the time, they tended to stress the importance of cult.

L’auteur classe le texte Mich 5, 1-5 parmi les promesses messianiques. II voit son origine à l’époque des dernières années du règne d’Ezéchias, roi de Judée, et il défend son originalité. Le texte reçoit interprétation selon le sens messianique; l’enoncé: miqqedem mîmêʽôlām semble parler de la préexistence du Messie. L’expression: jôlēdāh jālādāh suppose la connaissance de l’oracle Is 7, 14 et 9, 5 et semble désigner — selon l’auteur — la Mère terrestre du Messie — Emmanuel. L’auteur affirme que les oracles Mich 5, 1-5 et Is 11, 1-10 ne présentent pas de rapports de dépendance, tout en se complétant l’une l’autre. Se référant à l’oracle de Michée, l’Evangéliste donne sa propre version du fragment qu’il cite (Mt 2, 6). L’auteur de l’article est d’avis que l’allusion au pasteur ne vient pas du texte 2 Sm 5, 2 mais a plutôt sa source chez Ez 34, 23-24 et 37, 24. Donnant au fragment cité une interprétation Christologique, l’Evangéliste enrichi sensiblement le sens de la péricope de Michée.
