Little attention has been given to the influence of non-gluten components on the viscoelastic properties of wheat flour dough, bread making process and their products. The aim of this study was to evaluate by creep tests the viscoelastic properties of tablets manufactured from Osborne solubility fractions (globulins, gliadins, glutenins, albumins and residue), pentosans, flour and bread. Hard and soft wheat cultivars were used to prepare the reconstituted tablets. Sintered tablets (except flour and bread) showed similar values to those obtained from the sum of the regression coefficients of the fractions. Gliadins and albumins accounted for about 54% of the total elasticity. Gliadins contributed with almost half of the total viscosity (45.7%), and showed the highest value for the viscosity coefficient of the viscous element. When the effect of dilution was evaluated, the residue showed the highest instantaneous elastic modulus (788.2 MPa). Retardation times of the first element (λ1 ̴ 3.5 s) were about 10 times lower than the second element (λ2 ̴ 39.3 s). The analysis of compliance of data corrected by protein content in flour showed that the residue fraction presented the highest values. An important contribution of non-gluten components (starch, albumins and globulins) on the viscoelastic performance of sintered tablets from Osborne fractions, flour and bread was found.

The textile industry is very important because its products are widely used by society, however, this activity has a great contribution to the contamination of water resources due to its effluents that contain large amounts of colorants, among which is the blue of methylene (MB) and methyl orange (MO) that can cause damage to the health of living being. For this reason the present study concerned the removal of these dyes by adsorption using Eichhornia Crassipes (Water lily) with different treatments. The results show that the chemisorption removal process using two sites per dye molecule having an exothermic nature for the water-treated lily and for the NaOH-treated lily is endothermic. The maximum adsorption capacities of 228.9 mg/g for MB (60 °C) and 155.38 mg/g (30 °C) for MO with the NaOH treatment were achieved. The SEM analysis shows that there are significant changes in the surface due to the treatments. The XRD patterns indicate that with the pretreatment with NaOH the crystallinity of WL increases while the treatment with water maintains the presence of amorphous cellulose. In the FTIR spectra, the bands corresponding to different functional groups such as lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose that participate in the adsorption of both dyes are observed.

La recepción de las noticias traducidas es un campo de la traducción periodística prácticamente inexplorado, como han puesto de manifiesto Holland (2013) o Davier (2019). Hasta la fecha, muy pocos estudios han analizado cómo reciben las audiencias la información traducida. Se trata de análisis de casos centrados en medios concretos, con diferentes enfoques y en diferentes pares de lenguas (p. ej. Conway y Vaskivska 2010, Tian y Chao 2012). El presente estudio se inscribe en esta línea de investigación y pretende analizar cómo reciben los lectores españoles la información traducida. Para esta primera aproximación, nos hemos servido del caso de "El País", un medio que utiliza ampliamente la traducción en la producción de noticias. Nuestro estudio se ha centrado en las opiniones de sus lectores recogidas en la sección del Defensor del Lector, un espacio dinámico de la edición digital de este medio, abierto a los lectores que están suscritos. El defensor atiende sus dudas, quejas y sugerencias sobre los contenidos del periódico y les responde mediante la publicación regular de una columna cada dos semanas. El corpus analizado comprende tanto las opiniones de los lectores como las respuestas del defensor. De los datos obtenidos, se han extraído todas las opiniones en torno a la traducción con el objetivo de analizar la (in)satisfacción de los lectores con respecto a la información traducida publicada por este medio.

The mineralogy and thermal properties of two kaolin clay samples from Agua Blanca (Hidalgo-México) were determined by XRD, SEM-EDS, TGA-DSC techniques. Kaolin clay A contains a higher $Al_2O_3$ and lower impurities $(K_2O, TiO_2, Fe_2O_3)$ amount than kaolin clay B, while the SiO2 amount is similar for both kaolin clays. A theoretical approach was carried out by a thermodynamic analysis considering the chemical composition of both kaolin clay samples with the FactSage 7.3 software. Stability phase diagrams were obtained to different K2O content from 0.1 to 3 wt % and temperatures in the range from 600 to 1600°C based on the chemical composition of the kaolin clay samples. The main mineralogical compounds predicted are andalusite $(Al_2O_3•SiO_2)$, K-Potash feldspar $(K_2O•Al_2O_3•6SiO_2)$, and the $SiO_2$ polymorphs (quartz, tridymite, and cristobalite) with small amounts of ferric-pseudobrookite $(Fe_2O_5Ti)$, and rutile $(TiO_2)$. As $K_2O$ content is increased, the amounts of mullite and tridymite decrease meanwhile the potash feld spar is increased at high temperatures. A liquid phase is formed at around 1350 and 1400°C for the kaolin clay samples A and B, respectively. The viscosity of the melt is increased for the evaluated $K_2O$ additions to 1400, 1500, and 1600°C.

One method to evaluate the energy behavior is energy and exergy analysis. These analyses applied to waste-to-energy conversion technologies provide the information on operating conditions, facilitating energy optimization processes. In this study, an energetic and exergy analysis was used on the thermochemical degradation process of polypropylene in a tubular reactor at 600 °C with a speed of 15 °C min-1. The experimental data used in this work were taken from the study by Parku et al. (2020). According to the results, energy efficiencies of up to 43% and exergy efficiencies of 38% were achieved, and it was also observed, according to what was reported, that the products obtained from pyrolysis contain a high calorific value and can be used as alternative fuels.

A SrTiO3 electroceramic with perovskite structure was produced by the calcination of a mixture of SrCO3 and TiO2 intensively grounded by high energy milling. For this purpose, raw materials were mixed in stoichiometric amounts in a planetary type mill; the obtained powder mixture was calcined for 2 h at temperatures between 800 and 1300°C. Samples resulting from the calcination were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM analysis and electrical measurements. From XRD, it was determined that the SrTiO3 formed presents the cubic structure of perovskite. The complete reaction for SrTiO3 compound formation occurs at 1200°C. Micrograph observations indicate the presence of a homogeneous microstructure with tiny grain size. The measured values of electrical resistivity were within the typical range of insulating materials.

This paper aims to summarize the main theories from socio-cultural or institutional approach to encourage the creation of new businesses. Given this context, it raised the importance of theoretical study of the factors that influence decision making in the development of new businesses and how it affects the environment in which they operate the same business. The research method used was to review the existing literature by analyzing the major theories involved in the creation of companies, emphasizing the socio-cultural approach. The analysis concludes the activity of entrepreneurship to encouraging the creation of companies, being an important factor in economic development.

A digraph $D$ is $k$-transitive if the existence of a directed path ($v_0, v_1, . . ., v_k$), of length $k$ implies that ($v_0, v_k) ∈ A(D)$. Clearly, a 2-transitive digraph is a transitive digraph in the usual sense. Transitive digraphs have been characterized as compositions of complete digraphs on an acyclic transitive digraph. Also, strong 3 and 4-transitive digraphs have been characterized. In this work we analyze the structure of strong $k$-transitive digraphs having a cycle of length at least $k$. We show that in most cases, such digraphs are complete digraphs or cycle extensions. Also, the obtained results are used to prove some particular cases of the Laborde-Payan-Xuong Conjecture.

Plastics play an important role in our lives due to their versatility, lightness and low production cost. They can be found in almost every industry such as automotive, construction, packaging, medical, and engineering applications among others. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is one of the most consumed plastics worldwide in the packaging sector, which is why its useful life is usually very short, causing serious problems due to high disposal in the environment and urban landfills. The thermochemical degradation of PET has been studied by some researchers and it has been found that its degradation products are of high added value, which is why this work focuses on presenting the results obtained in the literature.

Millions of tons of urban solid waste are discarded yearly in Mexico. The rapid population growth, urbanization, and social development, together with a more significant number of inhabitants, resulted in a massive amount of municipal solid waste (MSW) that is increasing yearly. Most of these end up in landfills without being used for energy, causing severe social and environmental problems. Municipal solid waste (MSW) is the most significant main waste stream (representing 9.21% of the waste that can be used), including plastic bottles, food dishes, cans, bags, and containers. The recycling and sustainable disposal of plastic waste is a significant activity with a high rate of complexity due to various effects that occur during its processes, such as obstructions in mechanisms and pipes, prolonged degradation and biodegradation rates, and the presence of additives, and highly toxic dyes. Pyrolysis is one of the promising technologies for converting waste into sound energy capable of being used in various applications such as power generation, transportation fuel, and multiple thermal purposes. According to the Ministry of Energy (SENER), Mexico has an installed generation capacity of 86,034 MW, of which almost 65% is based on fossil-based technologies.

The fruit of Ardisia compresssa K. is called chagalapoli and has a high anthocyanin content, with a profile dominated by malvidin derivatives. The aims of this study were: a) to determine optimal conditions (ethanol concentration, pH, and sonication time) for anthocyanin extraction from chagalapoli fruit (CF) using response surface methodology, b) to perform spray-drying microencapsulation of the anthocyanins using mixtures of polysaccharides (maltodextrin – M and Capsul® – C) as wall materials, and c) to evaluate the stability of microcapsules during storage. Of the variables examined to optimize anthocyanin extraction from CF, only ethanol concentration and pH were significant in the model. The optimal extraction conditions were: 63.5% (v/v) ethanol, pH of 2.0, and sonication time of 30 min, which led to an anthocyanin content of 1545 mg malvidin 3-O-galactoside equivalents/100 g of fresh fruit. The proportion of M/C as the wall materials for microcapsule (MC) preparation did not affect the encapsulation efficiency and anthocyanin retention, but high hygroscopicity was observed in the MC with a high proportion of M. The half-life of the MC ranged from 423 to 519 days, and no effect of wall materials was observed. The color stability of the MC was enhanced by increasing C proportion in wall materials. The high stability of microencapsulated anthocyanins of chagalapoli fruit makes it a suitable option as a food colorant.

Let G=(V, E) be a graph; a set S ⊆ V is a total k-dominating set if every vertex v ∈ V has at least k neighbors in S. The total k-domination number γkt(G) is the minimum cardinality among all total k-dominating sets. In this paper we obtain several tight bounds for the total k-domination number of a graph. In particular, we investigate the relationship between the total k-domination number of a graph and the order, the size, the girth, the minimum and maximum degree, the diameter, and other domination parameters of the graph.

The effect of additions of silver or titanium (0.5 or 3 vol.%) microparticles on the microstructure, as well as some physical properties of Al2O3-based composites, were studied. The processing method for the manufacturing of alumina-based composites was a combination of RBAO and SPS processes. After the SPS process, bodies with almost full density were obtained. Observations by optical microscopy show a very fine and homogenous microstructure in all samples. Concerning mechanical properties, the addition of metals on alumina increases its fracture toughness significantly (112% for the sample with additions of silver, while the composite with additions of titanium fracture toughness increases by 72%). In terms of optical properties, both silver and titanium improve the absorbance in the visible range.

The study aimed to conclude on the up-to-date state of the organisational ecology theory concerning relations between organisational ageing and organisational ecology, enhanced by social and ecological systems and ecological management. The applied method included analytical and reflective concluding, based on the synthesis of findings from a critical literature review. It was concluded that: (i) organisational ageing generates some of the most important consequences in organisational ecology; however, there is still no consensus on what kind of consequences prevail; (ii) at population level, the adaptation of organisational structures occurs with the replacement of old organisations that fail to adapt by the new ones; (iii) under the prevalent backdrop of radical structural and strategic changes, individual organisations are subject to inertial forces and thus are confronted with limitations to their success; (iv) ageing has positive consequences for innovative activities of older companies; and (v) the higher the density and concentration of industry, the higher the rates of founding firms and the lower the rates of mortality.

This article presents a solution to deal with the optimization of delivery routes problem for a mobile application focused on the restaurant sector, by using a bioinspired algorithm (PSO) to minimize delivery costs, maximize a greater number of deliveries and recommend an optional route for food delivery. Different computational experiments are carried out by using Google Maps (API) for showing the best delivery route. The results obtained are very promising for offering a good delivery service.
