Opis:
This paper presents the results of extensive field research on the occurrence of Rubus L. species in the Czech Republic, especially in the frontier areas near the German border. In this area, Rubus adornatus, R. fasciculatiformis and R. perlongus were newly discovered. The other species, R. ambulans and R. stohrii, were discovered in the eastern and northern parts of Bohemia. A description, an illustration, photos and a list of localities are provided for each species. Taxonomy and nomenclature, ecology, distribution and etymology are discussed. The ploidy level of the mentioned species is presented here for the first time. All of these species are new for the flora of the Czech Republic.

Opis:
The objective of this paper was to evaluate the effects of high temperatures on biochemical parameters of hens. Heat stress generally causes a decrease in feed intake. The hypothesis that feed intake, egg production, egg quality measures, acid-base status (pH, pCO2, HCO3 –) of hens would be influenced by the high temperature period was tested. Twenty four Isa Brown hens at 60 weeks of age were used in this experiment and hens were randomly separated into 2 equal groups. Each group contains 12 hens. First control group was housed at 20.1÷21.2°C and 60÷65% relative humidity. Experimental group was housed for 2 weeks at 20.5°C and 60÷65% relative humidity in experimental box, and then exposed to 27°C and 60% for 4 week, and then allowed to recover for 2 week at 20.5°C and 60% relative humidity. All production parameters and egg quality were significantly affected by heat stress. Feed intake during first week heat period was significantly reduced (18%). In three next weeks, feed intake was increasing with reduction 14.5%, 8% and 9.5%, respectively. Blood pH values were significantly lower from 3rd week of exposure. Blood pH had these values: 1st week 7.372, 2nd week 7.371, 3rd week 7.380 and 4th week 7.289.

Opis:
The objective of the paper was to learn about behavioural consumer preferences with regard to organic products distribution on the area of Małopolskie Voivodeship. The research studies covered purposefully selected a 100-person group of respondents. On account of the growing awareness of consumers concerning healthy food, they will even more often reach for organic products. Thus, the process of their distribution should be properly prepared so that the demand for this kind of food is the highest. The investigated respondents use a previously prepared shopping list and carefully read available products while shopping. Majority of them look for loose products. A proper quality of products and form of sale may increase the consumers’ interest and consequently their distribution.

Opis:
Runaway electrons present an important part of the present efforts in nuclear fusion research with respect to the potential damage of the in-vessel components. The COMPASS tokamak a suitable tool for the studies of runaway electrons, due to its relatively low vacuum safety constraints, high experimental flexibility and the possibility of reaching the H-mode D-shaped plasmas. In this work, results from the first experimental COMPASS campaign dedicated to runaway electrons are presented and discussed in preliminary way. In particular, the first observation of synchrotron radiation and rather interesting raw magnetic data are shown.
