Opis:
Increased waste generation due to population growth and increasing consumption patterns cause pollution, including pollution in global scale due to the emission of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from the waste in the landfill. The study purposed to analyze the GHG (Green House Gases) emission generated by solid waste management in Malang in 2012 and in the next 10 years through the application of waste recycling from upstream to downstream. The production of methane (CH4) in landfill were analyzed using the model equations developed by IPPC (2001) and the reduction of the GHG from recycling were analyzed using GHG emission factors. Dynamic model of the GHG emission was developed to analyze and to predict GHG emission from recycling and dumping activity. The GHG emissions of waste management in 2012 (Scenario 1) is 192,291.19 tCO2e and in the next 10 years is 254,548.93 tCO2e (>32.19%). Application of Scenario 2 and Scenario 3 in the next 10 years produces GHG emission 134,290.38 tCO2e (<30.16%) and 37,741.56 tCO2e (<80.37%).

The administrative process innovation was adopted with enthusiasm by the Western advanced industrialized countries and was taken for granted as a superior approach that should be practiced. However, public organizations in Indonesia are structured and run differently making public sector employees may have different views toward new ways of doing the job. This article aims to reveal who innovates in the organization by analyzing typical personality traits. The hypotheses are tested through a sample of 200 employees of public universities located in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, and structural equation modeling is used. Applying Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), the five-factor personality in this research is labeled as adjustment (neuroticism), sociability (extraversion), likeability (agreeableness), prudence (conscientiousness), and school success (openness to experience). The results are discussed regarding the implications for what one can learn from individual-level studies of personality and innovation. Suggestions are offered to those universities interested in encouraging service quality in the public sector via innovation.
Innowacje w procesie administracyjnym zostały przyjęte z entuzjazmem przez zachodnie zaawansowane kraje uprzemysłowione i uznano je za oczywiste, jako nadrzędne podejście, które powinno być praktykowane. Jednak organizacje publiczne w Indonezji są zorganizowane i działają w różny sposób, sprawiając, że pracownicy sektora publicznego mogą mieć różne poglądy na nowe sposoby wykonywania pracy. Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu ujawnienie, kto wprowadza innowacje w organizacji, analizując typowe cechy osobowości. Hipotezy są testowane na próbie 200 pracowników uniwersytetów publicznych zlokalizowanych w południowym Kalimantan w Indonezji i wykorzystuje się modelowanie równań strukturalnych. Stosując Inwentarz Osobowości Hogana (HPI), pięcioczynnikowa osobowość określana jest, jako dostosowanie (neurotyczność), towarzyskość (ekstrawersja), sympatia (ugodowość), roztropność (sumienność) i sukces szkolny (otwartość na doświadczenie). Omówiono wyniki dotyczące konsekwencji, jakie można wyciągnąć z badań osobowości i innowacji na poziomie indywidualnym. Propozycje oferowane są uniwersytetom zainteresowanym promowaniem jakości usług w sektorze publicznym za pomocą innowacji.

The decomposition of organic matter on leaf litter substrat runs very slowly in nature resulting in the accumulation of litter in the ecosystem and has even become an organic waste that creates many problems. The research was dealt with the use of lignocellulolytic fungi inoculum consisting of 3 isolates: Aspergillus fumigatus (cellulolytic), A. tubingensis (xylanolytic) and Geotrichium sp (ligninolytic) as starter of leaf litter composting. The purpose of the study is to understand the pattern of humic-fulvat acid and C/N ratio on the process of composting of leaf litter with the addition of inoculum. Observations were made to the chemical changes of compost for 3, 6 and 9 weeks of composting and the data were analyzed in RM-anova (Repeated Measures of anova). The result shows the best pattern of humic acid and fulvic change from the initial to final composting occurs at the Geotrichum sp inoculum of 0.60 or 105.2% and for fulvic are of 0.55 or 56.1% of baseline. The highest ratio value of CHA/CFA at the end of observation was by consortium of A. fumigatus and A. tubingensis inoculums that was 2.94 and the lowest value was at commercial inoculum that was 0.80; and the sharpest change value also occurred in the consortium A. fumigatus and A. tubingensis inoculums of 2.20 or 297.3%. Therefore the consortium isolates were capable of causing the maturity of the compost most rapidly compared to other isolates.

Opis:
Inaccurate estimation in highway projects represents a major problem facing planners and estimators, especially when data and information about the projects are not available, and therefore the need to use modern technologies that addresses the problem of inaccuracy of estimation arises. The current methods and techniques used to estimate earned value indexes in Iraq are weak and inefficient. In addition, there is a need to adopt new and advanced technologies to estimate earned value indexes that are fast, accurate and flexible to use. The main objective of this research is to use an advanced method known as artificial neural networks to estimate the TSPI of highway buildings. The application of artificial neural networks as a new digital technology in the construction industrial in Republic of Iraq is absolutely necessary to ensure successful project management. One model built to predict the TCSPI of highway projects. In this current study, artificial neural network model were used to model the process of estimating earned value indexes, and several cases related to the construction of artificial neural networks have been studied, including network architecture and internal factors and the extent of their impact on the performance of artificial neural network models. Easy equation was developed to calculate that TSPI. It was found that these networks have the ability to predict the TSPI of highway projects with a very outstanding saucepan of reliability (97.00%), and the accounting coefficients (R) (95.43%).

Based on daily minimum and maximum air temperature observations for three years: 2008, 2013 and 2019, measured by automatic weather stations located at two sites of Baghdad city were used to compute nocturnal and daytime urban heat island (UHI). First station fixed in campus of the Mustansiriyah University is considered as urban area, and another station followed to Iraqi meteorological organization installed at the International Baghdad Airport was chosen as the rural site. Daily, seasonal and annual averages of nocturnal and daytime UHIs were presented to study the variability and trends. The results show the evolution of a nocturnal UHI, whose high mean values were recorded in four seasons with largest value found in summer of 2019. Annual trend in nocturnal UHI intensities was found to be larger than that of daytime. Thus, this study propose that maintenance and increase urban parks and planting shading tall trees to mitigate UHI intensity in Baghdad city.

3,7-Dinitro-1,3,5,7-tetraazabicyclo[3,3,1]nonane (DPT) is one of the most important intermediates in the synthesis of octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine (HMX). A suitably modified Bachmann process, nitrolysis of solid hexamine in the presence of ammonium nitrate-nitric acid and acetic anhydride on a laboratory scale, is introduced to increase the efficiency, production capacity and purity of the DPT produced. Various quantitative and qualitative analytical methods were used for the identification and quality control of the product. A central composite design (CCD) of experiments was used to optimize the production process, increasing the production capacity, reducing the amount of acetic acid as the reaction medium to a suitable limit, and examining the effects of the main factors impacting on the efficiency of the nitration, e.g. the volume of ammonium nitrate-nitric acid solution, nitration temperature reactor addition time and volume of acetic anhydride. The overall results indicated that DPT was obtained with an efficiency of 64.58% and a production capacity of 20.77 (100 g·mL−1).

This work introduces a suitable method for the optimization of selective synthesis of 1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocane (HMX), as one of the most well-known high explosives, from the aspects of production capacity and efficiency, by nitration of 3,7-dinitro-1,3,5,7-tetraazabicyclo[3,3,1]nonane (DPT). The effective factors in the productive capacity of HMX and the synthesis of a product from raw DPT with high capacity, purity, and efficiency have been identified. The required qualitative and quantitative analyses were performed for the identification and confirmation of the product quality. In order to optimize the process of increasing the capacity of HMX production and evaluation of the effects of different factors on the production capacity, a series of experiments were designed and performed by using central composite design (CCD). Practical studies and statistical analyses showed good conformity between the model presented and the actual results, allowing the selective production of HMX with an efficiency of greater than 70% and a high production capacity.

In the present work, we have measured specific activity concentrations in ten tap water samples for selected regions in Thi-Qar governorate by using high purity germanium (HPGe) detector. The results have shown that, the specific activity, for 238U was ranged from (0.65±0.8 Bq/kg) in AL- Nasir region to (1.32±0.7.8 Bq/kg) in AL-Refai region, for 232Th the specific activity was ranged from (0.120±0.34 Bq/kg) in AL-Garraf region to (0.980±0.99 Bq/kg) in AL- Dwaya region, for 40K the specific activity was ranged from (13.33±3.6 Bq/kg) in AL-Nasir region to (38.54±6.2 Bq/kg) in (AL-Garraf) region, with an average values of (0.933±0.16 Bq/kg), (0.737±0.17 Bq/kg), (24.451±7.5Bq/kg), for 238U, 232Th and 40K, respectively. In order to asses the radiological hazards of the radioactivity in tap water, we have been calculated the parameters (Raeq , DƔ, AEDin , AEDout , EAD , Iɣ , Hin and Hex).

In This paper, electrochemical etching teqniques was using to formation of nano crystalline porous silicon layer on p-type Si substrates. Measurement of capacitance – voltage characteristics at various etching time and current densities were used for calculated built in voltage and type of heterojunction. The built in voltage values were decreased with increasing etching time and current densities for both anisotype Al/PS/p-Si/Al heterojunction. These characteristics are interpreted by assuming the abrupt heterojunction model. The effect of different etching time and current densities on electrical properties of PS have been investigated.

The paper studies economic determinants of sectorial level (Extractive sector, manufacturing and assembly sector, infrastructure sector and service sector) foreign direct investment (FDI) to six ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippine). The study covers over a period of sixteen years, from 2001 to 2016, by employing static panel data model. This study includes inflation, gross domestic product growth, government expenditure on education, electric power consumption, exchange rate, trade openness and lending interest rate as economic variables. These factors are based on their relative importance from previous empirical literature. Overall findings reveal that there is a mix result in terms of key determinants of sectorial level inward FDI which proves that FDI is not a single phenomenon and that each sector must be treated on its own terms to attract FDI into the country.
W artykule przedstawiono uwarunkowania gospodarcze na poziomie sektorowym (sektor wydobywczy, sektor produkcji i montażu, sektor infrastruktury i sektor usług) bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych (BIZ) dla sześciu krajów ASEAN (Malezja, Indonezja, Singapur, Tajlandia, Wietnam i Filipiny). Badanie obejmuje okres szesnastu lat, od 2001 do 2016 r., poprzez zastosowanie statycznego modelu danych panelowych. Badanie to obejmuje inflację, wzrost produktu krajowego brutto, wydatki rządowe na edukację, zużycie energii elektrycznej, kurs walutowy, otwartość handlową i oprocentowanie kredytu jako zmienne ekonomiczne. Czynniki te opierają się na ich względnej wadze z poprzedniej literatury empirycznej. Ogólne wyniki wskazują, że istnieje mieszany wynik pod względem kluczowych czynników wpływających na napływ BIZ na poziomie sektorowym, co dowodzi, że bezpośrednie inwestycje zagraniczne nie są pojedynczym zjawiskiem i że każdy sektor musi być traktowany na własnych warunkach w celu przyciągnięcia bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych do tego kraju.

Introduction. The purpose of the study is to assess environmental contamination by Toxocara species eggs in public places in the city of Ilam, Ilam Province, southwest Iran Materials and method. Between September 2018 and March 2019, 130 soil samples were collected from public places of 5 district municipalities of Ilam, southwest Iran. Soil samples were examined by microscopy following flotation method by sodium nitrate. Results. Soil analysis showed that 5.88% of the soils stored, 52.54% from gardens, 29.42% from rubbish, and 11.72% from green spaces were contaminated with Toxocara spp. eggs. In total, 13.08 % of soil samples (17/130) were positive for Toxocara eggs (P>0.05). Conclusions. The findings revealed that care should be taken when using soil from gardens, green spaces and rubbish, and also should be seriously considered because of the potential issues of toxocariasis and also the risk to the public.

In this work, we study the structure, electronic properties and electronic spectra of Coumarin 102 (C102) dissolved in ethanol as an experimental-theoretical investigation. The various properties of the ground and excited electronic states of coumarins 102 using density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) was calculated by the B3LYP density functional model with 6-31G(d,p) basis set by Gaussian 09 W program. Spectral characteristics of coumarin 102 have been probed into by methods of experimental UV-visible, and quantum chemistry. The UV spectrum was measured in Ethanol. The optimized structures, total energies, electronic states (HOMO- LUMO), energy gap, ionization potentials, electron affinities, chemical potential, global hardness, softness, global electrophilictity, dipole moment and electrostatic potential was calculated. were calculated. We find good agreement between experimental data of UV spectrum and TDDFT excitation energies.
