Opis:
The problem of learning the multiplication tables among the students of the second grade, is not a minor problem. With regard to that, designed are the various practical, imaginative, humorous, professional and scientific methods in order to ease the „suffering”. We are not going to engage in deeper analysis of particular approaches or methods presented here in the adoption of practical and useful knowledge. The aim is to introduce an „old procedure – wrapped in new clothes” = the one that is animated using computer applications. What all training procedures should have in common is that they must provide a comfortable „learning environment”, gamesome procedure and immediate practical-manipulative activity in the adoption of such a „dry content for learning”.

An animated movie does not require any motivation for watching it. That is why it is very useful as the learning source at elementary school class work. The aim of this work is promotion of the heuristic-branched learning model on the example of the animated movie with direct manipulation of the animated content. The represented example of this „little scientific” animated e-task should instigate functional thinking and the model can be applied at each and every school subject.

The aim of this paper is introduction of didactically-methodical procedure for early detec-tion/encouragement of gifted children in solving problematically-logical and functional problems in math/geometry. We will display this procedure on the example of activities with preschool age group of children (6 years old), on which a new term is acquired – a CIRCLE. Problematical ma-nipulative task called “Draw as correct circle as possible without using a divider”, which was conceptualized by the principles of “Nikola Tesla Center” (NTC) – MENSA of Serbia, was offered in three variants with different level of difficulty and number of didactical material for solving: 1) THE EASIEST PROCEDURE: with a logical block which has circle base + felt pen and paper, 2) MEDIUM-DIFFICULT PROCEDURE: pencil attached to the thread + paper and 3) THE MOST DIFFICULT PROCEDURE: color with brush + paper; Every child should make an indi-vidual attempt to solve all offered procedures – successively, one after the other, and their at-tempts, SUCCESS/FAILURES should be recorded by educator. Besides that, the paper indicates UNWILLINGNESS OF SERBIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM FOR THE GIFTED ONES = the necessary condition of the progress of every society, in which, they are LEFT ON THEIR OWN!.

Functional-logical thoughtful capacities pertain among the essential work competencies when referring to hiring of young people today. Members of this so-called Generation „Z”, born in Serbia, most often characterize individual and non-institutional self-education of information technology, which is „bored” in the traditional school. Researches and results in PISA tests, years back, confirm, that doesn’t have enough developed functional-logical thoughtful capacities, as well as their peers in the countries with a more modern educational-teaching technology. The aim of the paper is to compare the results of the functional-logical testing of members of three generation „X”, „Y” and „Z”. The sample was represented by random respondents matched by their age; gender; educational level or school success. „What had a significant influence on the test results, years (life experience), gender, level of education or school su ccess?” The achieved results are on the side of older and middle generation, which is likely attributable to qualifications, years (life experience) and gender. However, by all criteria, women have shown better results than men. In contrast to that, the weakest results indicate the necessity of school reform, which would implement the content and methods of MENSE – „Nikola Tesla Centre” from the earliest educational age. Modern education must be market-oriented, knowledge-based society that encourages professional, creative and functional-logical mental potential of children. The paradox is that the domestic intelligence is in use in EU countries, but not in Serbia.

Opis:
The penmanship of our instructional team has given birth to a specifically developed short multimedia animated movie (Cow Affairs) – as a new resource in learning and an alternative to the traditional approach to teaching in schools in Serbia. Its content is designed for pupils of the first grade and for the school subject The World Around Us, for the lesson on Deriving Benefits from Cattle – Cow. Since the pupils of Year 1 in Serbia are the most overwhelmed pupils in Europe, the roots of which are in the old-fashioned technologies, books being the domineering resource, overwhelming goals and tasks for nonfunctional skills and old syllabus, we aim to innovate the approach to teaching and learning and to bring about dynamic changes in the process of learning of our children. The described model here of a class that implements animated movies tends to innovate the traditional way of teaching, to modernize it, to make it attractive, engaging and encouraging for our Year 1 pupils. The results published abroad on Computer Assisted Learning with Animated Movies among first graders show that IT has a great supremacy over the traditional approaches to teaching. The described animated movie will only make for the Introduction to a series of animated movies with the follow-up quizzes for on-line (or DVD) learning in primary schools. The described animated movie will show the extent and depth of our research and teachers’ questionnaire answers before its immediate use in the classroom.

For the purposes of the academic course entitled Methods of Initial Formation of Mathematical Concepts, we created a didactic and manipulative pro-duct “Kockalica” (cubes) which is applicable in about 50 school lessons. These findings have come out as a result of numerous submitted seminar works, prepared teaching resources, activities and simulation tasks developed by students of College of Vocational Studies in Subotica. During the implementation of the final exams and professional development sessions in kindergartens, this didactic resource has been implemented in a number of educational topics. The conducted survey, developed by our students and kindergarten teachers, indicates the usefulness and applicability of “Kockalica” (cubes) in the acquisition of mathematical concepts in children of this age. In the process of shaping of this simple and widely applicable teaching resource, Braille script has been carved onto the surface, making it more accessible for visually impaired and blind children. The aim of the paper is to present an innovative teaching resource “Kockalica” (cubes) to a wider range of potential users and practitioners.

As a matter of fact, for children ICT Tools don’t have the power of immediate and practical experience or experimental work, which are the primary source of learning such contents. ICT Tools can only be used to revise knowledge after children have acquired it through direct manipulative activities and experiments, which require sensory experiences (eyes, hands). In that way children estimate volume of different liquids and their dishes firstly subjectively and then objectively.

The identity is one of the key issues of modern society and when we take into account the influence of media and information technologies on the livelihoods of individuals then it becomes clear how fast identities have been changing and how qualitative transformations they suffered. In the post modern times computers present an unavoidable decor of present but simultaneously they entice with their utilities all users of this scientific and technical paradigm. Social identity is not what it used to be and its relatively loose structure comprises a sequence of even non consistent characteristics of the structure of identity that have not even been imaginable, until recently, in a such configuration they exist today. New technologies and the way people spend their time at work or their free time determine the development and establishing of the identity structure whilst new specific identities have appeared due to free access to information with the whole latitude of using new media. This phenomenon often reflects on what we refer to as generation gap and additionally on everything that democratic and neo-liberal environment supports in terms of certain behavioral patterns acceptance. Computers, mobile phones of new generation and the Internet, as the totality of informational domain, have offered the post-structural multiversity pandemic of a new world that changed in as much it conceived the pluralism of identities and brand new assemblies of values and attitudes. The onset of a new world was possible due to the concept of a new human that appeared, who has a general common denominator in information technologies.

ICT in educational process crashes classic theory of psychological development of the child. According to them, the process of adopting of new concepts (thought process) in pre-school insti-tutes ranges from perception of the senses (sight, hearing, touch), speech and direct manipulation of real objects (teaching resources), towards the creation of abstract concepts. In other words, that child would “see the object in their head”, had to “see it and touch it with the hand!” first. With the introduction of modern educational technology, the whole process of learning and assessment of knowledge moved to the virtual environment. Perceptual abilities, compensated realistic tactile impressions and direct manipulation but not at the expense of the quality of learning. Examples from practice confirm that. The paper aims at presenting samples of interactive-multimedia game sheets and panels for future base of E-didactic materials from the Methodology of developing initial mathematical concepts for preschool needs.

The aim of this project is easier interactions between educators and children in preschool institutions and teaching resources through ICT. The project will be carried out in two phases. After the initial formation of the base for teaching resources (the playing sheets/panels) in the 1st phase, the material will be only available for download – printing and sharing between users in base in the PDF format. In the 2nd phase, will be developed interactive approach where in a web form content, the same teaching materials would be reviewed, entered/resolved, respectively – creation of e-learning approach. After launching a web platform, users (target group) would have the option of selective, limited and time-limited access to two databases of teaching materials: a) web plat-form for downloading and solving traditional teaching material and b) for solving and learning on mobile devices through Android app (PEIT1, TV, tablets and mobile phones). The platform will in the case of e-learning material, carry out an evaluation of the same, the assessment of individual sheets, at group level, themes, areas or the playing boards. In this paper we present a future project.

ncontrolled and inappropriate use of technology (mobile phones, tablets and PC) among pre-school children is harmfulto their physical and mental development. The use of technology at this age should not be limited to 30 minutesper day.Anything over that timecan cause addiction.Even during this interval, the use of inappropriate content i.e., games, social networks may not encourage deepanalytical thinking; instead,it makes a ‘flow water heater’ from a brain causingthe reception of a huge amount of information that cannot be processed or stimulated by the brain to solve problems and develop synapses that are responsible for functional thinking. On the other hand, during that period, children experience a range of emotions such as sadness, anger, happiness, fear, love, surprise, disgust, and shame. These emotions cause an increasein serotonin levels, which functions as a form of morphine in children’s brain. It is much more effective for a child to engage in some form of motor activitiese.g., playing, climbing or crawling which successfully stimulates the formation of synapses in the child's brain. This new generation of children addictedto technology in schools creates problems. The aim of this paper is to outlinethis multifacated problem.

From the earliest age they spend time with IT devices (tablets, mobile phones, computers ...). How these kids actually use the Internet is something that parents are rarely concerned about. It is often the case that kids know more about IT devices than their parents. Moreover, parents are often confronted with children due to inconsistent use of the Internet. One way to properly use the Internet is education.

The time in which we live is called the time of the information revolution and is characterized by a high degree of industrialization, technical progress and automation, which results in a reduction in physical activity, i.e. volume of daily movement activities. Thus, man relies more and more on his intellectual abilities, and less and less on movement. It is for this reason that a person should dedicate himself to daily moderate physical exercise in order to compensate for his daily need for movement. Proper attitude towards physical exercise, as well as the formed habit of exercising in early childhood, are some of the crucial factors that determine whether physical activity in the later stages of life will be an integrated part of life. Only in this way can today’s man avoid the consequences of hypokinetic syndrome.
