Opis:
The paper presents the results of geotechnical properties of cohesive soil recently deposited in Rożnowskie Lake and on the floodplain of the Dunajec River. The results show that cohesive soils of Rożnowskie Lake are represented mainly by silt, clay and silty clay. Sandy silt and silt are deposited predominantly on the floodplain of the Dunajec River. The soils contain a few percent of organic matter, however, there is more organic matter in the sediments of Rożnowskie Lake. The variability of deposited soils is due to different periods of sedimentation on an annual basis. The time of sedimentation on the Dunajec River floodplain is short and associated with flooding during the summer culmination, thus the sediments (sandy silt and silt) are coarsest. In the area of Rożnowskie Lake, sludge sedimentation occurs throughout the year, especially during the spring and summer flood flow. This sludge has finer grain size (silt and clay). The soils show a variation in their vertical profile, and are characterized by a layered structure.

Opis:
Dynamic changes of parameters of energy sources and receivers are reasons that decrease exactitude of static and dynamic output signals towards reference signals. To improve these parameters, more advanced solutions of power electronics inverters are necessary. One of them are controlled voltage (current) sources. These special inverters may find many applications: as part of active compensation systems of voltage deformations in power network, in systems with power flow controllers, power electronics voltage reference generators as well as in modern electrical drives. Proposed by the authors structure of voltage (current) source is based on work of these systems in closed loop of negative feedback, controlled in PWM system with constant carrier frequency, where classical regulators are replaced by wide band filters. In the present work authors undertook test of use of adaptive digital filters for enlargements of exactitude work of these systems. The paper presents characteristics of system working in closed loop of feedback and shows basic quantities describing such system. Authors placed practical researches results of systems for different reference signals and conditions, where power electronic source has been tested as the power reference voltage (current) generator.

Opis:
In this work we present main reasons of deterioration of power quality and interference in distribution power network. Further we determine required control interaction which improve work conditions of this network and discuss practicability of other different compensation systems. We present a proposal of main structure of shunt active compensation systems. We talk over tasks, methods and control algorithms. Structure of control algorithms (numerical structure of digital filters, digital Fourier transform) and required high precision control indicate to application of signal processors. For realization of practical systems we used floating-point digital signal processor ADSP21065L, Analog Devices Inc. Some selected results of investigations on laboratory models of active shunt compensation systems are also presented.

Opis:
Over the recent years are performed researches concerning negative results of usage of frequency converters in electric drives. This refers among other things to influence of such manner on power supply of the engine, its durability, reliability, and also the all driving system on the environment. This is also connected with problems of the electromagnetic compatibility. Reasons causing the most negative influences of MSI inverters on electrical motor can be significantly reduced or even eliminated by use of the new generation MSI inverters with sinusoidal shape of the output voltage. Proposed by authors broadband power electronic voltage source uses the idea of closed loop system with negative voltage feedback, controlled in the MSI modulation with constant carrier frequency and with replacement of classical regulators broadband by digital filters. Presented in the article results clearly show that by applying in the electric drive the new generation inverters we can eliminate most problems resulting from usage of classical MSI inverters.

Particular attention was paid to the stages of continuous improvement and employee involvement in the implementation of quality policy. Our studies focus on test structures for photovoltaic applications based on zinc oxide nanorods grown using a low-temperature hydrothermal method on a p-type silicon substrate. The nanorods were covered with silver nanoparticles of two diameters – 20–30 nm and 50–60 nm – using a sputtering method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs showed that the deposited nanoparticles had the same diameters. The densities of the nanorods were obtained by means of atomic force microscope (AFM) images. SEM images and Raman spectroscopy confirmed the hexagonal wurtzite structure of the nanorods. Photoluminescence measurements proved the good quality of the samples. Afterwards an atomic layer deposition (ALD) method was used to grow ZnO:Al (AZO) layer on top of the nanorods as a transparent electrode and ohmic Au contacts were deposited onto the silicon substrate. For the solar cells prepared in that manner the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics before and after the illumination were measured and their basic performance parameters were determined. It was found that the spectral characteristics of a quantum efficiency exhibit an increase for short wavelengths and this behavior has been linked with the plasmonic effect.

Opis:
The nanoparticles of CH3NH3PbBr3 hybrid perovskites were synthesized. These perovskite nanoparticles we embedded in polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) in order to obtain the composite, which we used as light converter for silicon solar cells. It was shown that the composite emit the light with the intensity maximum at about 527 nm when exited by a short wavelength (300÷450 nm) of light. The silicon solar cells were used to examine the effect of down-conversion (DC) process by perovskite nanoparticles embedded in PMMA. For experiments, two groups of monocrystalline silicon solar cells were used. The first one included the solar cells without surface texturization and antireflection coating. The second one included the commercial cells with surface texturization and antireflection coating. In every series of the cells one part of the cells were covered by composite (CH3NH3PbBr3 in PMMA) layer and second part of cells by pure PMMA for comparison. It was shown that External Quantum Efficiency EQE of the photovoltaic cells covered by composite (CH3NH3PbBr3 in PMMA) layer was improved in both group of the cells but unfortunately the Internal Quantum Efficiency was reduced. This reduction was caused by high absorption of the short wavelength light and reabsorption of the luminescence light. Therefore, the CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite nanoparticles embedded in PMMA matrix were unable to increase silicon solar cell efficiency in the tested systems.
