Opis:: W artykule przedstawiona jest metoda optymalizacji procesu eksploatacji i niezawodności złożonych systemów technicznych oraz program komputerowy pozwalający na automatyczne zastosowanie proponowanej procedury. Program wyznacza chwilowe prawdopodobieństwa przebywania systemu w poszczególnych stanach eksploatacyjnych, które maksymalizują czasy przebywania systemu w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych nie gorszych niż stan krytyczny, a następnie korzystając z otrzymanych rezultatów pozwala na predykcję optymalnych charakterystyk niezawodności i ryzyka złożonych systemów technicznych. Program jest zastosowany do optymalizacji niezawodności i ryzyka lądowego linowego transportera statków. Ustalone są następujące optymalne charakterystyki: optymalna bezwarunkowa funkcja niezawodności systemu, optymalne wartości średnie bezwarunkowych czasów przebywania systemu w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych, optymalna funkcja ryzyka systemu oraz optymalny moment, kiedy funkcja ryzyka przekroczy ustalony poziom.
The presented computer program for the evaluation and prediction of the complex technical system reliability and risk of optimal characteristics is based on methods and algorithms of optimisation presented in [2, 6, 7]. The computer program determines the transient probabilities in particular operation states maximising the system lifetimes in the reliability-state subset not worse than the system critical reliability state and then using the obtained results to evaluate optimal reliability and risk characteristics of the complex technical systems. In order to illustrate the application of the computer program, we determined optimal reliability and risk characteristics of a ground ship-rope transporter. Presented in the paper is the reliability and risk optimisation of a real shipyard system that can be an example of a computer aid for the operation process of transportation systems.

Opis:: W artykule zaprezentowany jest program komputerowy pozwalający na ocenę i predykcję charakterystyk niezawodności i ryzyka złożonych systemów technicznych wraz z przykładem jego zastosowania. Algorytmy programu przygotowane zostały w oparciu o modele złożonych systemów technicznych, łączących modele ich niezawodności z modelami ich procesów eksploatacji, przy uwzględnieniu zmiennych w różnych stanach eksploatacyjnych ich struktur niezawodnościowych. Przy założeniu, że elementy systemów mają wykładnicze funkcje niezawodności, program wyznacza ich warunkowe funkcje niezawodności w poszczególnych stanach eksploatacyjnych systemów, bezwarunkowe funkcje niezawodności wraz z wykresami, wartości średnie oraz odchylenia standardowe bezwarunkowych czasów przebywania systemów w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych oraz w poszczególnych stanach niezawodnościowych rozważanych systemów. Program wykreśla także funkcję ryzyka oraz wyznacza moment do przekroczenia dopuszczalnego poziomu funkcji ryzyka systemów.
The presented computer program for the evaluation and prediction of complex, technical system reliability and risk is based on methods and algorithms included in [1]. The computer program allows automatic determination of reliability and risk characteristics for systems considered in the paper under the assumption that the considered systems are exponential. The computer program can be applied for prediction and optimisation operation, reliability and risk of complex transportation systems and processes, particularly for port, shipyard and maritime transportation systems.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawione zostały metody estymacji nieznanych parametrów wykładniczego rozkładu czasów przebywania elementów systemu w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych. Rozważone zostały różne przypadki przeprowadzonych badań empirycznych, włączając mało liczne realizacje oraz badania niedokończone. Ponadto zaprezentowany został program komputerowy oparty na tych metodach wraz z przykładem zastosowania do identyfikacji niezawodności systemów lin w Stoczni Marynarki Wojennej w Gdyni. Program wyznacza oszacowanie nieznanych warun-kowych intensywności wyjścia z podzbioru stanów niezawodnościowych wykładniczej funkcji niezawodności elementów systemu w różnych stanach eksploatacyjnych, a następnie pozwala na weryfikację hipotezy o wykładniczych dystrybuantach warunkowego czasu przebywania elementów systemu w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych.
This paper presents methods for estimating unknown parameters of the exponential distribution of the system components of conditional lifetime in the reliability state subsets. There are different cases of performed empirical experiments considered, taking into account small number of realisations and non-completed investigations. Moreover, the paper presents a computer program based on these methods with an example of an application for reliability identification of the rope system in Naval Shipyard in Gdynia. The program determines the evaluation of unknown conditional intensities of departure from the reliability state subsets of the system components' exponential reliability function in variable operation states. Finally, the program allows a verification of the hypothesis about the exponential distribution of the system components' conditional lifetime in the reliability states subset.

Opis:: The main source of information on the situation across the sea basins used by operators of shipping monitoring systems is a network of coastal radar stations. Presently, it is possible to gather navigational information from many individual radar stations simultaneously, which may be used for improving the accuracy of vessel position fixing. However, without making other estimates, we obtain an inconsistent image comprising multiple echoes of the same ship, and as such it is impossible to say which echo presents the vessel on the move. Another problem is the method of performing radar observations, which significantly affects the accuracy of position fixing. The estimated radar distance is encumbered with a gross error in the case of large vessels, as the position of a large vessel is not the same as the position of the edge of the radar echo to which the estimation is made. In this paper, the authors present a method to adjust the measured radar distance. The proposed method may be automated easily, which would significantly enhance VTS positioning processes.

Opis:: One of the possibilities when modelling a transport network is to use a graph with vertices and edges. They represent the nodes and arcs of such a network respectively. There are dozens of parameters or characteristics that we can describe in graphs, including the different types of domination number and the problems related to it. The main aim of this paper has been to show the possibilities of the application of the selected domination-oriented concepts to modelling and improving the transportation and/or logistics networks. Firstly, the basic description of domination in graph theory has been introduced. The edge-subdivision and bondage number notations and their implementations to the transportation network description and modelling were then proposed. Furthermore, the possible usage of distinguishing concepts in an exemplary academic transportation network has been shown. Finally, the conclusions and future directions of the work have been presented.
