This article presents the main hazards in the production process on the basis of selected enterprises. Those hazards are mainly related to the safety of workers. The second element of the analysis is the way of elimination of risk factors. The method of risk elimination in each enterprise has been shown, with particular emphasis on the most effective ways of removing threats. The comparative analysis was applied for research purposes.

Opis:
Transport is one of the final stages in the sales of the produced batch. Manufacturing enterprises each time face a dilemma whether to hire a carrier to transport finished goods or invest in their own transportation fleet. The aim of the article is to look at transport through the prism of finished goods. The discussed transport relates to road transport of metal products. The authors conducted research on the basis of the comparative analysis based on selected manufacturing companies. The analysis concerns the actual cost of transport when choosing the option of an external carrier and the carriage by own means of transport, as well as occurring transport damages.

The research was conducted in a manufacturing company. This study has been enriched with the characteristics of risk-testing methods, analysis of the logistic audit and preparation of a risk register on this basis. The aim of the article was to draw attention to the dangers and dangers of logistic processes.

Opis:
The paper is a summary of a project aimed at identifying and eliminating or minimizing the causes of frequent failures of the Krakow water supply network related to corrosion damage. The paper presents the method of searching for factors responsible for frequent corrosion damage. There were taken into account several factors that may destroy the pipes associated with corrosion processes, such as the composition of the water, aggressiveness of ground, or stray currents. The monitoring method of the corrosion processes applied to observe the condition of the water supply network was discussed. The study showed that the main problem appeared to be stray currents related to the electrical infrastructure widely present in a large city, such as a tram or railway network. To eliminate this threat, a cathodic protection system has been implemented to prevent further failures. There were also demonstrated results of research proving that the applied solutions are effective.

The study was conducted in a manufacturing company. The publication discusses the methodology for designing the production process using decision tables. The purpose of this article is to draw attention to the use of decision tables in production design. Production, as the main link that adds value to manufacturing companies, is the most important process within the organization. The ability to make decisions, in terms of the production process, is related to the development of the enterprise or lack thereof. Help is needed in making decisions, which should have the best effect on the functioning of the whole company and generate the highest profits. Decisions at the production stage are crucial to the operations of the whole company.

XX w. we współpracy Zakładów Azotowych w Tarnowie-Mościcach SA z Instytutem Chemii Ogólnej (teraz IChP) w Warszawie, który został wdrożony do praktyki przemysłowej w Tarnowie i w Puławach ( w latach 70. ub.w.) oraz sprzedany, jako licencja i know how, do Słowacji, Hiszpanii, Tajwanu, Białorusi, Włoch, Korei Pd i Indii oraz jego zmodyfikowaną wersję CYCLOPOL-bis, w której znacząco obniżono wskaźniki surowcowe, a poprzez poprawę jakości produktu utleniania cykloheksanu jakość produktu finalnego - cykloheksanonu. Zaprezentowano historię współpracy z Gujarat State Fertilizers&Chemicals Ltd w obszarze technologii produkcji cykloheksanonu z benzenu i efekty tej współpracy w postaci bezprecedensowych kolejnych wdrożeń w skali technicznej technologii CYCLOPOL i CYCLOPOL - bis w Indiach. Pokazano, jak aktywność licencjodawcy w obszarze prac badawczych, rozwoju i modernizacji procesów wpływa na rozwój kadry inżynieryjnej, przynosi wymierne efekty ekonomiczne, podnosi renomę Azotom Tarnów i poszerza obszary potencjalnej dalszej współpracy.
This paper discusses the CYCLOPOL process in Tarnów based on hydrogenating benzene to cyclohexane and then oxidising cyclohexane with atmospheric oxygen to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone, dehydrogenating cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone and purifying the latter one. This process was developed in the 1960s as the result of a very close collaboration between Zakłady Azotowe in Tarnów-Mościce and the Institute of General Chemistry, currently the Industrial Chemistry Research Institute in Warsaw. This process was implemented into the industrial practice in Tarnów and Puławy (in the 1970s) and sold as the licence and know-how to Slovakia, Spain, Taiwan, Belarus, Italy, South Korea and India. It also describes the CYCLOPOLbis process which is the modernised CYCLOPOL technology with significantly reduced raw material consumption indices and the improved quality of obtained cyclohexanol-cyclohexanone mixture. The paper also presents the technology for cyclohexanone in India and the cooperation with Gujarat State Fertilizers&Chemicals Ltd connected with the licensor's activity in the field of research, development and modernisation of the processes. This cooperation brings considerable advantages and acts as an incentive for the engineers' development. It builds Azoty Tarnów reputation as well as creates new potential areas for conducting the business.

W artykule dokonano charakterystyki zwinnych łańcuchów dostaw wraz z analizą zakłóceń. Postępująca globalizacja w zasadniczy sposób wpływa na zarządzanie przedsiębiorstwami oraz na przepływ towarów i usług. Jedną z założeń w przepływie towarów jest koncepcja zwinnego łańcucha dostaw. Aby efektywnie zarządzać łańcuchami dostaw oraz utrzymać odpowiednią pozycję na rynku, konieczne jest zdefiniowanie ewentualnych zakłóceń. Artykuł przedstawia możliwe do występowania zakłócenia w tradycyjnych modelach łańcucha dostaw oraz z wyszczególnieniem zakłóceń w zwinnych systemach zarządzania.
The article discusses the characteristics of agile supply chains with disturbance analysis. One of the assumptions in the flow of goods is the concept of agile supply chain. In order to effectively manage supply chains and maintain an appropriate market position, it is necessary to define possible interruptions. This article presents possible interference in traditional supply chain models and specifies interference in agile management systems.

The Japanese 5S method is the basis for optimizing processes in the enterprises. An example of the practices in the logistics enterprise is presented. These practices are an important prerequisite for successful work in the enterprise and have a positive impact on the implementation of the 5S system and other methods. 5S contributes to the development of the learning organization with employees. 5S practise is one of the techniques to improve quality and safety and health at the workplace. It was first popularized by Taiichi Ohno, who designed the Toyota Production System and Shigeo Shingo, who also put forward the concept of poka-yoke. The article presents Lean 5S methodology and selected results of research on performance and interference, before and after implementation of the 5S method in the logistic enterprise. The purpose of this paper is to implement the 5S and principles to assist manufacturing organisations to become more efficient and more productive. The case study presented in the paper will be useful to researchers, professionals and others concerned with this subject to understand the significance of 5S and Lean.
