    Opis:
    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest syntetyczne przedstawienie koncepcji strefowych (kordonowych) opłat kongestyjnych, których zastosowanie – poprzez adekwatne odzwierciedlenie kosztów odbywanych przez użytkowników systemu transportowego podróży – wpływa na ich zachowania transportowe. Przedstawiony jest więc dorobek teorii ekonomii w zakresie identyfikacji, analizy i internalizacji kosztów zewnętrznych w transporcie stanowiący bazę teoretyczną zastosowania tego typu rozwiązania. Na tej podstawie, w kontekście wskazanego całościowego podejścia do zarządzania przepływami osób, dóbr i informacji na obszarze miasta, analizowane są zależności i powiązania między opłatami kongestyjnymi a logistyką miejską.
    The goal of this paper is to present the concept of area (cordon) congestion charges, application of which by adequate reflection of people’s travel costs, affects their travel choices, thus reducing the level of congestion and the associated negative externalities. Therefore the economic theory developments on identifying, analyzing and internalizing externalities in transport that constitute a theoretical framework for usage of such solution are being presented. Based on that the relationships and correlations between congestion charges and city logistics are analyzed in the context of the required holistic approach to the management of people, goods and information flows in the city.

    The paper presents an example of building the Current State Map and a proposal for the reorganization of production process in a INVENTOR factory. The tool that has enabled realization the improvement of the production process was Value Stream Mapping. Collected a lot of information about the production process.     Manufacturing features are widely accepted as a means for the CAD, CAPP and CAM systems and their integration. Despite high number of works in this area, the investigations on the methods on manufacturing features saving are still limited and many results are not suitable for manufacturing systems design purposes. The paper presents possibility of using the MS Access software for saving and management of constructional data of casing-class parts. Therefore, the method of representation and saving casing-class constructional knowledge was developed. The proposed method is based on application of the design feature technique.

    Opis:
    The paper presents capabilities of Enterprise Dynamics software in modelling and simulation of production process in job-shop conditions. The modelled production process was conducted on the total of 8 machine tools representing 5 different types. The conducted simulation represented production of three types of parts in an alternating sequence of jobs according to the technological machine sequence. The production process of the developed model was controlled by means of 4D Script programming language.

    The following paper is devoted to computer-aided production scheduling. The initial presentation of principles of deterministic scheduling was followed by the description of typical production environments and completed by the classification of production tasks scheduling methods. Furthermore, LiSA software was introduced and applied to build a schedule based on actual production data. In conclusion, the effectiveness of production task scheduling was evaluated with selected logarithms offered by LiSA software.

    Opis:
    The development of competitiveness on world markets caused the need to increase production flexibility. An essential tool in achieving this purpose could be production scheduling. Unfortunately, the production process is associated with presence of numerous random events that negatively affect its course. Therefore, it is necessary to apply appropriate prediction methods which help to reduce its affect. The paper presents the conception of robust production scheduling. The typical scheduling problems and robust scheduling idea are described. Moreover, the current solutions of production scheduling under uncertainty are outlined. Finally, the idea of creating robust schedules based on previous production processes are presented. In the final part of the paper the author presented problems related to proposed idea.

    The paper presents results of geochemical analyses of organic matter (OM) in a tonstein bed and surrounding bituminous coal from the Upper Carboniferous (Westphalian B) coal seam no. 385/2 from the Bogdanka mine, Lublin Coal Basin. In all studied samples, including those of tonstein and bituminous coal, OM was found to be very similar in composition. Distribution of hydrocarbons in investigated rocks is characterized by strong predominance with odd-number carbon-atom of the long-chain n-alkanes in comparison to the even-number and high concentration of C29 steranes, what implies relatively high input of higher-plant OM in these samples. Minor concentration of C28 steranes and perylene points at presence of fungi. In all extracts, the tri- and tetracyclic diterpanes co-occur with their aromatized derivatives, what suggests presence of the tap resin species - precursors of the conifer families in the plant community. The abundance of sesquiterpanes, pentacyclic triterpanes and benzohopanes indicates a significant bacterial input, most possibly connected with bacterial activity after deposition of terrestrial OM. The original material of tonstein was pyroclastic in orgin, and deposited directly on plants living at the surface of a mire. That material hadn’t had any direct influence on chemicalOMtransformation. The biomarker data, both for coals and tonstein, reveals that sedimentary organic matter was heated up to a temperature corresponding to the level of immature/start of oil window. On the other hand, the increase in thermal maturity value, based on distribution of the aromatic hydrocarbons in organic matter in tonstein (theoretical vitrinite values - Rc, Rcs) are probably due to the presence of incompletely burned organic remains (charcoals), transported to the sedimentary basin along with volcanic ashes.

    In this paper we present the mathematical background of the four most used numerical methods of solving equations and few examples of Python applications that find the approximations of the roots of the given equations. We also compare the exact and approximate solutions of polynomial equations of third degree. Exact solutions are obtained with usage of Cardano formulae by the help of Mathematica environment, the approximate ones – based on the selected numerical methods by the help of applications written in Python language.
