    Celem pracy jest ocena dokładności odwzorowania ruchów tanecznych oraz możliwości uczenia się układu tanecznego przez tancerki profesjonalne i studentki Akademii Wychowania Fizycznego w Katowicach (AWF) podczas uprawiana aktywnej gry wideo. Przebadano 13 tancerek zawodowych Teatru Rozrywki w Chorzowie oraz 28 studentek AWF. Dokładność odwzorowania ruchów oraz możliwości uczenia się układu tanecznego oceniano za pomocą systemu Kinect współpracującego z konsolą Xbox 360 i interaktywnej tanecznej gry wideo. Osoby badane podczas kolejnych prób uczyły się ruchów tanecznych demonstrowanych przez wirtualnego nauczyciela. Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań wykazały, że jakość odwzorowania układu zależy zarówno od doświadczenia tanecznego badanych kobiet, jak i liczby wykonanych powtórzeń. Tancerki profesjonalne znacznie dokładniej niż studentki AWF wykonywały nowopoznane akty ruchowe. Uczestniczki badań w kolejnych próbach precyzyjniej odzwierciedlały układy taneczne, co może świadczyć o możliwości efektywnego uczenia się ruchów tanecznych z wykorzystaniem aktywnej gry wideo.
    The aim of this study is to assess the accuracy of repetition of dance movements and the possibilities of learning the dance arrangement by professional dancers and students of the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice (AWF) during an active video game. 13 professional dancers from the Rozrywka Theatre in Chorzów and 28 students of the AWF were examined. Accuracy of movement repetition and learning possibilities of the dance arrangement was assessed using the Kinect system cooperating with the Xbox 360 console and an interactive dance video game. The participants during the subsequent trials where learning dance moves demonstrated by a virtual teacher. The results of the tests showed that the quality of repetition of the arrangement depends both on the women’s dance experience and the number of repetitions performed. Professional dancers performed new movement acts much more accurately than students. Participants in subsequent attempts more accurately reflected the dance arrangements. This may indicate the possibility of effective learning of dance moves using an active video game.

    Nifuroxazide is a popular chemotherapeutic agent, that is widely used in Poland in acute and chronic bacterial diarrhea treatment. It is available in pharmacies as over-the-counter tablets for adults and a suspension on prescription for children. The aim of the study was to assess the safety of nifuroxazide therapy. Adverse reaction reports from the Regional Pharmacovigilance Center in Wroclaw, the pharmaceutical company PPF Hasco-Lek, and VigiAccess and EudraVigilance databases were analyzed. Based on the analysis of the data collected from the above sources, nifuroxazide have shown a high therapeutic value in the gastrointestinal tract infections, maintaining high safety of usage at the same time. The number of drug application adverse reactions in Poland is not so high primarily due to high safety profile and low patient awareness of the possibility of reporting drug side effects.

    Opis:
    Introduction. Results of studies analyzing the role of immunocompetent cells in tumor environment and whole peripheral blood indicate their responsibility for aggressiveness of neoplasm, prognosis and therapeutic effect. Atcivation of lymhocytes T is connected with expression the markers (antigens) on their surface. The aim of this study was the analysis of activation antigens expression on lymphocytes T in patients with laryngeal carcinoma and the connection with clinicomorphological features. Material and methods. Analysis of activation antigens expression CD69, CD71 and CD25, CD26, HLA/DR on lymphocytes T CD4+ i CD8+ in 33 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx was performed. Flow cytometry-based analysis of activation antigens in T cell cultures with and without PHA stimulation was used. The connection of these molecules and clinicomorphological features was examined (pT, pN, G, Anneroth, Batsakis and Lunas’ classifi cation). Results. The significant correlation between chosen markers of activation and tumor features were noted: pT with HLA/DR/CD4, CD69CD8, CD71CD8, pN with CD26CD8, G with CD25CD8, CD71CD8, ABL score with CD25CD4. Conclusion. Our data indicated the connection of immunocompetent cell activity and spread of neoplasm in patients with laryngeal carcinoma.

    This article presents 3 cases that highlight one of the factitious disorders named Munchausen Syndrome (MS). It is defined as intentional simulation or self-induction of disease symptoms to gain attention of others and to be perceived as an ill person. Early recognition of factitious disorders is a challenge for non-psychiatrists, as its clinical symptoms vary significantly among patients. In this paper we present three women with recurrent episodes of hypoglycemia, who were eventually diagnosed with MS. Our aims were to share the diagnostic clues that can suggest the presence of a factitious disorder, to highlight the analysis of patient’s medical history and to suggest the potential the ethical dilemmas involved in caring for such patients.
