    Opis:
    The meaning of Cyber Physical Systems and an Internet of Things with indication of RFID position in those concepts was outlined. Research program related to assessment of RFID technology was presented. Author deducted on problems related to RFID implementations and RFID essentially for logistics of manufacturing companies. Research goals and problems were formulated. Tools, techniques, models and methods that could be utilized were proposed and discussed. Research was focused on design of a new method to support early decision making phases for RFID application in logistics of manufacturing companies. Author stated that literature and practice lacks of complex method to answer if RFID is strategically important for the company, which processes should be RFID-supported, how RFID-supported processes should be designed and if RFID-support is rational. Framework for assessment of RFID technology with illustrative example was discussed.

    Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is still a relatively new technology for many manufacturing and logistics companies. These companies experience uncertainties about RFID implementation, so they take steps to mitigate them. This article presents multiple case studies to design a conceptual framework to mitigate such barriers. The goal of this research was to test propositions that companies: often are not convinced about the maturity and performance of RFID technology; perform typical actions to test uncertainties; and need proof of the benefits of RFID technology before implementation. It was demonstrated that companies conduct proof of RFID technology activities (demonstrations and reference visits) to test RFID performance. These are required to test the technology in operation. Conclusions of this research may serve RFID systems providers and end users of technology by facilitating a better understanding of decision making processes during early phases of RFID implementation.

    Systems engineering (SE) is a well-known approach used for management of the development process of big and complex technical systems / products (usually) by large companies. There are a few initiatives of SE application for different industries as well as new SE standard development for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems are a good example of systems development of which could be approached using systems engineering. In this paper, a case of an SME - a solution provider and system integrator of RFID systems is discussed, to discover how it is dealing with SE problems and issues. The paper also presents potential benefits arising from the utilization of SE in this type of projects realized by the SME in question.

    W artykule zaprezentowano wykorzystanie dynamiki systemów do analizy efektów wdrożenia technologii, których zakres oddziaływania wykracza poza bezpośrednie miejsce wdrożenia technologii. Istnieje szereg technologii, których efekty wdrożenia pojawiają się w obszarach, w których ich się pierwotnie nie spodziewano. Wykorzystanie dynamiki systemów pozwala zrozumieć mechanizmy powodujące pojawianie się tychże efektów. Przedstawiono przykład i omówiono wyniki symulacji dla modelu dyfuzji F. Bass’a dla technologii identyfikacji radiowej w polskich bibliotekach.
    Authors presented application of systems dynamics for an assessment of implementation of technology, which impacts extend direct point of application. There are many technologies, which implementation impacts areas, that were not initially assumed to be impacted. Application of systems dynamics enables better understanding of mechanisms driving such effects. An example of a simulation for the F.M. Bass diffusion model of radio frequency identification technology in Polish libraries was presented and discussed.

    The paper discusses possible applications of wireless technologies in support of lean manufacturing tools. The typology of lean tools is provided. It distinguishes three main categories, which are identification and analysis of waste, improvement implementation, and process monitoring. The set of lean tools was analyzed in terms of information requirements. On the other hand, the typology of wireless technologies was discussed including RFID and Wi-Fi. The literature review of wireless technology applications for support of lean tools was conducted. The literature was systematically reviewed from the point of view of specific technologies and specific tools which were the subjects of the analyzed publications. Both typologies were synthesized to establish a framework for wireless technologies applications in the context of lean manufacturing implementation. It also could serve as a guideline for lean practitioners and implies future research directions. This paper is an extended version of paper published by [1].

    Na przykładzie ujęcia infiltracyjnego w Legnicy (Przybków) przedstawiono modele zmian zawartości chlorków w wodzie w procesie infiltracji. W tym celu zbudowano modele ARIMA szeregów czasowych zawartości chlorków wodzie infiltracyjnej w studni zbiorczej. Skonstruowano również równanie regresji zawartości chlorków w wodzie infiltracyjnej ze studni zbiorczej w zależności od ich zawartości w wodach Kaczawy oraz zależnie od wysokości opadów atmosferycznych w rejonie Legnicy. Otrzymana postać regresji pozwoliła wnioskować, że opóźnienie transportowe dla chlorków w wodzie ze studni zbiorczej wynosi około 42 dób. Zaprezentowane w pracy modele zastosowano do prognozowania zawartości chlorków w ujmowanej wodzie infiltracyjnej.
    Variations in the concentration of chlorides observed in the infiltration process were modeled for the infiltration water intake for the Water Treatment Plant of Legnica. For this purpose, ARIMA time series models for the chlorides contained in the infiltration water were constructed. A regression equation was derived to describe the concentration of chlorides in the infiltration water and relate it to the following two factors: the concentration of chlorides in the Kaczawa River and the intensity of precipitation in this area. The form of the regression equation implies that the transport delay for the chlorides to the intake wells approaches 42 days. The models presented in this paper were used to predict the chloride concentration in the infiltration water.

    Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a rapidly emerging technology with a wide range of impact and still not fully exploited potential applications. The impact of RFID is not limited to the area of its direct application. There are many possible benefits to be gained from RFID application, but it must be preceded with careful analysis as its implementation is not always reasonable. A new method for an assessment of RFID technology was presented and explained on the case of a white goods manufacturer. There was a lack of such a method allowing for relatively quick and flexible assessment, which is important for decision makers, who do not want to become involved in very sophisticated and time-consuming analysis at the early stage of decision making. The method supports early phases of decision making related to RFID implementation. Conclusions derived from the analysis of the case study confirmed that the method applied allows for rationalizing decision making and answers whether RFID could generate strategic advantage, in which area RFID should be applied, how RFIDsupported processes will be executed and what benefits would be expected. previous papers focused only on answering specific questions from the above list, without showing a holistic approach. the approach to answer questions about execution of processes and benefits was not considered earlier at all. The paper illustrates details of using a new method of an assessment of RFID technology (ART) using a real industrial example.

    Transport jako element gospodarki narodowej, pełni w niej bardzo ważne funkcje, a usługi komunikacji miejskiej w postaci przewozów regularnych spełniają istotne role i charakteryzują się wieloma specyficznymi cechami. Przede wszystkim zaspakajają codzienne potrzeby ludności. Określa je przy tym powszechna dostępność jak i regularność funkcjonowania w oparciu o opublikowany rozkład jazdy. Problematyka przewozów osób jest bardzo złożona i uwarunkowana przez szereg przepisów. To specyficzny rodzaj transportu, który sprowadza na przewoźnika i organizatora przewozu ogromną odpowiedzialność. Aby wykonywać krajowy przewóz osób należy spełnić szereg obowiązków ustanowionych przez przepisy krajowe i unijne. W artykule omówiono uwarunkowania prawne związane z regularnym przewozem osób.
    Transport, as part of the national economy plays very important functions and services of public transport in the form of regular services fulfills important roles and has many specific features. First of all, it satisfies the daily needs of the population. They are characterized by the widespread availability; also important is regularity of the operation based on the published timetable. The issue of passenger transport is very complex and conditioned by a number of provisions. It is specific type of transport, which brings on the carrier and the transport organizer great responsibility. To carry out the national transport of passengers should be fulfilled a number of obligations conditioned by national and EU regulations. The article discusses the legal conditions for the regular transport of passengers.

    Wszystkie środki transportu wykorzystywane przez przewoźników do realizacji zadania transportowego w regularnym przewozie osób muszą spełniać szereg warunków technicznych, co stanowi zakres tematyczny niniejszej publikacji. Opisano w niej również przykład spełnienia wszystkich wymagań przez jednego ze śląskich przewoźników – Tyskie Linie Trolejbusowe. Jest to jeden z trzech przewoźników komunikacji trolejbusowej w Polsce. Obsługuje taborem trolejbusowym pięć linii na zlecenie Miejskiego Zarządu Komunikacji w Tychach. „Ekologicznie do celu” – takim hasłem promowana jest komunikacja trolejbusowa w Tychach, jako bezemisyjna i całkowicie przyjazna dla środowiska. Przedsiębiorstwo realizuje tzw. przewozy regularne, czyli publiczne przewozy osób pomiędzy przystankami, według rozkładu jazdy i cennika podanych do publicznej wiadomości. Trzon taboru stanowią nowoczesne pojazdy marki Solaris Trollino 12MB zakupione dzięki funduszom europejskim.
    All means of transport used by carriers to carry out transport task in regular passenger transport must meet a number of technical conditions, which is the thematic scope of this publication. It describes the example of all the requirements for one of the Silesian carriers - Trolley lines of Tychy. This is one of the three trolleybus communication carriers in Poland. Trolleybus fleet supports five lines on the order of the Municipal Board of Communications in Tychy. "Ecologically to the destination" - by this slogan is promoted communication trolleybus in Tychy, as emission-free and completely environmentally friendly. The company implements the so-called regular service, so public transport of passengers between stops, according to the timetable and the price list given to the public. The core of the fleet is the modern vehicles Solaris Trollino 12MB purchased thanks to European funds.

    Bauflo male rats were infected with Hymenolepis diminuta. On 7th, 14th, 21th, 28th and 52th day of infection blood and liver were collected to determine AACo, AspAt, AlAt in the blood serum and in liver homogenates. In the course of teniosis in rats the activitics of all examined enzymes show changes in the serum and in liver homogenates. The most pronounced ones occur between the 7th and 21st day of infection. In the authors' opinion this is related to the highest pathogenicity of H. diminuta and especially with toxic action at this time. Determination of AACo activity proved to be a useful test to follow up the dynamics of organ changes in the course of hymenolepidosis.

    The development of civilization, economic growth, urbanization, industrialization and progress in medicine bring to the society an improvement in the quality of life, but at the same time caused changes in lifestyle, environmental conditions, and changes in the natural environment. All of these led to develop civilization diseases which have critical impact and the adverse effect on our health, about what we not always realize. In the past fifty years, about 30 new pathogens appeared causing diseases such as legionellosis, Lyme disease, and increase unexpectedly tuberculosis incidence which in some regions is associated with HIV infections. Also widespread use of antibiotics caused and still causing bacterial resistance increase to most of them. With the development of medicine and surgery, parallel effects of surgical areas and infections associated with implanted cardiac devices in the majority of the life-saving ones appeared. The development of research techniques allowed for the finding of new relationships between ecosystems in the microbiome of the gastrointestinal tract with of obesity in the society.
