Celem artykułu jest omówienie problematyki dotyczącej wydarzeń, jakie miały miejsce w mieście Zabłudów w latach 1927-1938. W szczególności analizie poddana została kronika kościoła parafialnego pod wezwaniem św. Ap. Piotra i Pawła w Zabłudowie napisana przez ówczesnych proboszczów ks. Witolda Kuźmickiego i ks. Jerzego Sienkiewicza. Autorzy w omawianej kronice skupili się nie tylko na sprawach stricte religijnych, lecz także na opisaniu wydarzeń dotyczących wielu uroczystości patriotycznych obchodzonych w omawianym okresie przez mieszkańców miasta i okolicznych miejscowości. W artykule podjęto również próbę przypomnienia wartości dokumentu w postaci kroniki jako ważnego historycznego źródła informacji. Artykuł przeznaczony jest nie tylko dla historyków, ale także dla wszystkich zainteresowanych historią regionalną z okresu międzywojennego.
The purpose of the article is to present the problem area regarding the events that took place in the city of Zabłudów between 1927 and 1938. In particular, the analysis focused on the Chronicle of the Peter and Paul Parish Church in Zabłudów written by the then parsons Witold Kuźmicki and Jerzy Sienkiewicz. In the chronicle the authors focused not only on purely religious matters but also on a description of the events concerning many patriotic celebrations in the period being discussed by inhabitants of the city and the surrounding towns. The article also includes an attempt to restore the value of the document in the form of a chronicle as an important source of historical information. The article is intended not only for historians but also for all the persons interested in the regional history from the interwar period.

Sildenafil is a selective type 5 phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitor, commonly used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). The results of recent studies suggest that this drug modulates function of the immune system. However, only few studies were performed in humans. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the ability of sildenafil to regulate the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines including tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-6 in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from healthy men. Phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) - stimulated and unstimulated PBMCs from 16 participants were cultured in the absence or presence of sildenafil (400 ng/ml and 4 µg/ml). TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 concentrations in culture supernatants were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cell viability was assessed by trypan blue staining. Sildenafil at a concentration of 400 ng/ml significantly increased TNF-α production in stimulated PBMCs (p<0.05) but had no effects on IL-1β and IL-6. The drug did not affect PBMCs viability. This is the first report describing such effects of sildenafil in humans.

Introduction and objective. The study presents the problem of immune disturbances in pregnant women with vulvar carcinoma in situ (VIN3). Material and methods. NK cell and T reg activity in the study patient were analysed using flow cytometry. Results. Decreased NK cell activity and but increased T reg activity were observed after vulvectomy, with subsequent successful pregnancy outcome. Conclusions. Although vulvar cancer may influence immune cell activity, this issue merits further study.

Basing on experiences derived from many years of cooperation between the Historical Monuments Documentation Centre and photographic division of the Ateliers for Conservation of Cultural Property the authors present the development of a new form of the photographic inventorying survey applied to historical objects whom they have called a „photographic monograph”. Under the above name is to be understood the full and complex photographic survey of an individual object or of a group of historical objects, including all its elements and constituting a complete range of illustrative material relating to a given object, together with its outfit, which, as documentation, is able to meet all requirements and needs that could be put forward by a conservator, an a rt historian or a publisher. While reporting the programme outlines and the works involved in preparing of a „photographic monograph” the authors formulate a number of principles and requirements concerning the preparation of both basic conditions and points of a programme and technical conditions for taking photographs. At the end of their work they postulate the standardization of principles and working methods as well as unification of requirements which should supply a guarantee that, as a result, the photographic documentations will be obtained covering full collections of thematically exhaustive photographs which are characteristic of their high quality and uniform as to their technical values.

Artykuł przedstawia analizę porównawczą popularnych szkieletów programistycznych ASP.NET Core MVC oraz Symfony 4. W technologiach tych zaimplementowano dwie aplikacje internetowe, zawierające te same funkcjonalności, pełniące funkcję prostego systemu do zarządzania artykułami. Te aplikacje zostały poddane testom wydajności czasowej podczas realizacji typowych operacji wykonywanych za pośrednictwem prostego formularza takich jak wprowadzanie, edycja, wyświetlanie i usuwanie danych. Czynności te były wykonywane automatycznie za pomocą poleceń z biblioteki Puppeteer. Wyszczególnione operacje były powtarzane 10, 100 i 1000 razy w celu uzyskania precyzyjnych średnich czasów. Na podstawie otrzymanych wyników trudno było jednoznacznie stwierdzić, które z porównywanych narzędzi programistycznych jest lepsze. Z dwiema czasochłonnymi operacjami tzn. wprowadzaniem i edycją danych, znacznie lepiej radził sobie framework ASP.NET Core. Jego wyniki pod tym względem (średnia z 1000 powtórzeń) były odpowiednio o około 28% i 25% lepsze w stosunku do szkieletu Symfony 4. Natomiast dla dwóch mniej czasochłonnych operacji, czyli wyświetlania i usuwania artykułów, wyraźnie lepszym okazał się szkielet Symfony 4. Jego wyniki dla wyświetlania i usuwania artykułów (średnia dla 1000 pomiarów) były o 15 i 36 procent odpowiednio niższe w stosunku do drugiego badanego szkieletu.
The article presents a comparative analysis of popular ASP.NET Core MVC and Symfony 4 frameworks. Two web applications, containing the same functionalities and acting as a simple system for managing articles, were implemented in these technologies. The applications underwent time performance tests during typical operations performed by means of a simple form such as entering, editing, viewing and deleting data. These actions were performed automatically using commands from the Puppeteer library. The listed operations were repeated 10, 100 and 1,000 times in order to obtain precise mean times. On the basis of the obtained results, it was difficult to clearly state which of the compared programming tools is better. The ASP.NET Core MVC framework coped much better with two time-consuming operations, i.e. entering and editing data. Its results in this regard (the average from 1,000 repetitions) were respectively approximately 28% and 25% better compared to the Symphony 4 framework. However, for the two less time-consuming operations, i.e. displaying and deleting articles, the Symphony 4 framework proved to be considerably better. Its results with regard to displaying and deleting articles (the average for 1,000 measurements) were respectively 15% and 36% lower compared to the other of the tested frameworks.

By changing the air and water flow relative rates in the two-phase (air-water) flow through a minichannel, we observe aggregation and partitioning of air bubbles and slugs of different sizes. An air bubble arrangement, which show non-periodic and periodic patterns. The spatiotemporal behaviour was recorded by a digital camera. Multiscale entropy analysis is a method of measuring the time series complexity. The main aim of the paper was testing the possibility of implementation of multiscale entropy for two-phase flow patterns classification. For better understanding, the dynamics of the two-phase flow patterns inside the minichannel histograms and wavelet methods were also used. In particular, we found a clear distinction between bubbles and slugs formations in terms of multiscale entropy. On the other hand, the intermediate region was effected by appearance of both forms in non-periodic and periodic sequences. The preliminary results were confirmed by using histograms and wavelets.

This paper describes investigation on the influence of hydraulic oil temperature on the performance of a hydraulic pump. The aim of the research is to determine changes in volumetric efficiency of the pump in the form of maps of operation at different temperatures of the hydraulic oil, in conditions of variable speed and pressure. The described tests were carried out on an experimental stand with a hydraulic fixed-displacement gear pump controlled by a servo motor. Based on the signals from the sensors processed with the LabVIEW program, maps of the hydraulic pump operation were drown in a wide range of speeds and temperatures. The paper presents the results of the research and based on this the conclusions regarding the main aim of the research and others that were observed during the measurements were presented. The most important conclusion from the study shows that the temperature-dependent characteristics provide users with a significant amount of information such as operating conditions that will ensure a high level of efficiency.
