Wąskie gardło to najsłabsze ogniwo, które ogranicza pełne wykorzystanie potencjału produkcyjnego danego przedsiębiorstwa. Pojęcie to jest związane z usprawnieniem produkcji i poprawą jakości usług. Celem głównym artykułu jest przedstawienie sposobów identyfikacji wąskich gardeł oraz wpływu ich eliminacji na poprawę jakości usług i poziom kosztów procesu produkcyjnego. Artykuł należy potraktować jako studium przypadku dotyczące wpływu eliminacji wąskich gardeł na poprawę jakości i usprawnienie produkcji.
    Production downtime and sudden, increased demand for products that took place during the 2021 pandemic significantly influ-enced the exploration of the topic of bottlenecks and its analysis. The bottleneck is the weakest link that limits the full use of the production potential of a given enterprise. This concept is associated with the improvement of production and the im-provement of the quality of services. The main aim of the article is to present the methods of identifying bottlenecks and the impact of their elimination on the im-provement of service quality and the cost level of the production process. The article should be treated as a case study on the impact of eliminating bottlenecks on improving quality and streamlining production.

    Firmy, działające w dynamicznie zmieniającym się otoczeniu powinny efektywnie zarządzać komunikacją z klientami. Dzięki tej komunikacji będą w stanie uwzględniać aktualne potrzeby swoich odbiorców oraz kierunki ich zmian. Współczesne formy komunikacji firmy z klientami to zestaw różnorodnych działań. Jednym ze sposobów oddziaływania na klienta może być komunikacja wizualna. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie roli i wykorzystania komunikacji wizualnej jako skutecznego narzędzia komunikowania się marki z odbiorcami. Artykuł opracowano na podstawie analizy literatury przedmiotu oraz przypadku firmy Piwo Rewalskie z Pogorzelicy. W artykule zaprezentowano wybrane narzędzia komunikacji wizualnej, jakie zastosowała marka w latach 2015–2022.
    Companies operating in a dynamically changing environment should effectively manage communication with customers. Thanks to this communication, companies will be able to take into account the current needs of their customers and the directions of changes. Contemporary forms of communication between a company and its clients are a set of various activities. One of the ways of influencing the client may be visual communication. The aim of the article is to show the role of using visual communication as an effective tool for brand communication with recipients. The article was prepared on the basis of an analysis of the literature on the subject and presents the case of the Piwo Rewalskie company from Pogorzelica. The article presents selected tools of visual communication that the brand used in 2015–2022.

    Using MMORPG computer games, in which users’ strong commitment to the game is connected with the influence of the rules prevailing in the virtual world, can lead to the users’ aggresive reactions, establishing them and transferring into the real world through modification of cognitive constructs as well as changes in the assessment of the situation and the response choices. Studies conducted on a group of 32 people playing MMORPG of Japanese production shows, that players compared with the control group are more aggressive verbally, often reveal anger as well as it is harder for them to suppress it, easier enter into the emotogenic situations, it is harder for them to control their behavior and they are often guided by affection in it.

    Opis:
    Two series of benzimidazole derivatives were sythesised. The first one was based on 5,6-dinitrobenzimidazole, the second one comprises 2-thioalkyl- and thioaryl-substituted modified benzimidazoles. Antibacterial and antiprotozoal activity of the newly obtained compounds was studied. Some thioalkyl derivatives showed remarkable activity against nosocomial strains of Stenotrophomonas malthophilia, and an activity comparable to that of metronidazole against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Of the tested compounds, 5,6-dichloro-2-(4-nitrobenzylthio)-benzimidazole showed the most distinct antiprotozoal activity.

    Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a spectrum of various diseases associated with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. AIDS is one of the most common infectious illness with 1.8 million of new cases and approximately 36.7 million living with HIV. AIDS becomes a worldwide problem and due to rising number of HIV-positive patients, the appropriate medical care is needed. This article takes into consideration the current information about pathogenesis of HIV infection, clinical and biochemical symptoms, diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment the disease. Furthermore, the article describes the side effects of the treatment, the methods of their diagnosis and prevalence, and focuses on the psychological problems of HIV-positive people.

    Ovarian cancer is characterized by an extremely poor prognosis in women with an advanced stage of this carcinoma. In United States every year 20,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It is the fifth most frequent cause of death from cancer in females and the most common cause of death for 15 years after diagnosis in women with stage III-IV tumors. Among ovarian neoplasms the most frequent are surface epithelial-stromal tumors. Moreover, non-epithelial ovarian tumors are distinguished. This group matters 10% of patients with diagnosed ovarian tumors. Due to a huge variety of ovarian tumors, the following work focuses mainly on the current clinical treatment of the epithelial ovarian cancer. The following paper summarizes current clinical treatment of epithelial ovarian cancer, including surgical procedure, chemo- and immunotherapy including modern therapeutic approaches.
