Opis:
This paper studies the robust finite-time H∞ state feedback control problem of continuous-time Markov jump systems (MJSs) subject to norm bounded uncertainties. Transition probabilities are allowed to be known, uncertain with known bounds or unknown. Based on the continuous transition probability property and the developed slack variable technique, Lyapunov variables are separatek from unknown transition probabilities and system matrices. With these separations, a relaxed method for robust finite-time H∞ controller design is proposed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of and the benefit from the proposed method.

Opis:
The traditional super-resolution (SR) reconstruction algorithm based on neighborhood embedding preserves the local geometric structure of image block manifold to reconstruct high-resolution (HR) manifold. However, when the magnification is large, the low resolution (LR) image is seriously degraded and most of the information is lost after down-sampling. The neighborhood relation of the LR manifold can not reflect the inherent data structure. In order to solve the problem effectively, we propose a face image SR algorithm based on pre-amplification non-negative restricted neighborhood embedding. In the training phase, the LR image is pre-amplified so that there are more similar manifold structures between the HR and LR resolution images. The constraints of the reconstructed coefficients are loosened and the HR image blocks are iteratively updated to obtain the reconstructed weights. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a better reconstruction effect compared with some traditional learning algorithms.

Opis:
Conformational analysis of two tachykinin family peptides: Scyliorhinin I (ScyI) and Scyliorhinin II (ScyII) was carried out by 1D- and 2D-NMR (DQF-COSY, TOCSY, HMQC, HMBC, NOESY and ROESY) and molecular dynamics calculation methods in water and DMSO. Scyliorhinin I is an equipotent agonist of NK-1 and NK-2 tachykinin receptors and Scyliorhinin II is a selective agonist of the NK-3 tachykinin receptor. In DMSO, two groups of conformations (major and minor) were obtained for both peptides based on the experimental data. The conformations proposed for ScyI represent a folded structure, which show certain similarities to the structures reported for other NK-1 and NK-2 tachykinin agonists. In water ScyII displays a flexible, extended structure, whereas in DMSO the structure is more compact and in the fragment from the centre to the C-terminus several beta -turns may be present.

Opis:
To achieve a reliable two-dimensional control by noninvasive EEG-based brain-computer interface (BCI), users are typically required to receive long-term training to learn effective regulation of their brain rhythmic activities, and to maintain sustained attention during the operation. We proposed a two-dimensional BCI using event-related desynchronization and event-related synchronization associated with human natural behavior so that users need neither long-term training nor high mental loads to maintain concentration. In this study, we intended to further investigate the performance of the proposed BCI associated with either physical movement or motor imagery with an online two-dimensional centerout cursor control paradigm. Model adaptation method was employed for better decoding of human movement intention from EEG activities. The results demonstrated an effective center-out cursor control: as high as 77.1% during online control with physical movement and 57.3% with motor imagery. It suggests that two-dimensional BCI control can be achieved without long-term training.
