Opis:
The cabin of the manned submersible is a narrow and sealed space. The long-time work of oceanauts is easy to cause muscle fatigue and stiffness, which reduces efficiency. This paper explored the relative more effective way to relieve leg muscle fatigue of the oceanauts in the manned submersible.Material and MethodsTwenty healthy young people with an average age of 24 years were selected as the participants, while the usual natural relaxation and the stretching method proposed by the surveys were selected as the relieve method for muscle fatigue. This study compared the effects of the 2 recovery ways using the electromyography data from the quadriceps femoris and biceps femoris, and the subjective scales.ResultsWith the support of data of integral electromyogram (iEMG), root-mean-square (RMS), subjective scales, authors finally found that the 2 muscles of the leg are fatigued significantly, and biceps femoris has more accumulation of fatigue. Although the 2 recovery ways have a significant relief effect on muscle fatigue, the stretching method can reduce more muscle fatigue in a short period of time, especially for biceps femoris. The stretching method is advocated for the oceanauts.ConclusionsThe findings suggested that the stretching method was optimal for relieving the muscle fatigue of the oceanauts during the operation. ObjectivesThe proper porthole angle contributes to relieving the operation fatigue and improving the efficiency of oceanauts. In this study, the authors explored the effect of 3 different porthole longitudinal positions on the oceanauts’ back muscles using surface electromyography (sEMG) analysis, and the characteristics of the perceived body comfort was obtained.Material and MethodsOverall, 40 healthy participants were recruited to perform tasks in a simulated cabin environment. Electromyographic (EMG) signals were recorded from the trapezius medius, lower trapezius, and erector spinal muscles for porthole angles of –5°, –15°, and +15°, relative to the horizontal line of sight during a 21-minute experiment. The subject comfort scores were collected at 7, 14 and 21 min. The integrated electromyogram (iEMG) and the root mean square (RMS) of EMG signals, as well as the mean power frequency (MPF), and the mean frequency (MF) were calculated.ResultsThe subjective scores of the +15° porthole at each stage of work are higher than those of the –15° and –5° portholes. The results of iEMG, RMS, MF and MPF all indicated that the +15° porthole design was more conducive to lowering the rate of muscle fatigue, while the –5° and –15° portholes increased the muscle fatigue rate and led to greater fatigue. It was found that the lower trapezius was more prone to fatigue than the trapezius medius and erector spinal muscles. The height, weight and body mass index of the participants were found to negatively correlate with muscles at the +15° porthole, which is highly consistent with the actual situation.ConclusionsThe findings suggested that the +15° position was optimal for delaying the muscle fatigue of the participants and for improving the work efficiency of oceanauts.

Opis:
In order to meet the advent of the high-definition liquid crystal display (LCD) era, in addition to the high-quality panel manufacturing technology, how the backlight module can provide a uniform backlight with higher uniformity for a better experience in viewing, is a very important and urgent issue. In this study, the 15.6-inch side-in backlight module was used as the benchmark, and the Taguchi method was applied to find the high uniformity. The matching of the fishbone diagram affects the optical uniformity factor of the backlight module, such as the size of the light guide plate dot, the color of the plastic frame, the color of the fixed gel of the light guide plate, and the difference of the reflection surface. The optical analog software LightTools is used according to the orthogonal table. The signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio of the average uniformity characteristics is obtained, then it is converted into the best response factor of the factor response table and the factor reaction diagram. The homogeneity at 13 points is as high as 90.12%, which is 4.72% higher than the original design factor. The contribution of the four factors to the uniformity can be obtained by using the variance analysis. Finally, the influence of each factor level on the uniformity is discussed.

Opis:
A super depth of field height measurement method is proposed to measure the object height with the optical stereoscopic microscope. The quasi-Euclidean epipolar rectification algorithm is utilized on the original stereoimage to obtain rectified stereoimages and calibrate two camera parameters. Then, feature points are obtained by the SURF (speed up robust feature) algorithm and their corresponding disparities are calculated. The disparity-depth of field curve is fitted by combining the step height values of a stepper motor. Moreover, through local disparity value got from feature points on the object, the relative shift height is calculated through regression analysis. Finally, according to binocular vision geometry, the thickness of the object can be calculated. Experimental results show that the measurement error in Z direction is from 1.51% to 7.71%, which indicates that the proposed method is able to measure the height of a microobject beyond depth of field within a tolerant error.

Opis:
To overcome the depth-of-field limitation of an optical microscope image, a three-dimensional measurement method with a superior depth-of-field is proposed. In the proposed method, light-field information of different angles is obtained by moving the aperture and the three-dimensional scene is reconstructed by using a computational reconstruction technology. First, stereo matching of different aperture position images is performed to obtain the multi-aperture imaging deviation. The focal plane moving distance is thereby estimated. Then, the relational expression between the image coordinates and the focal plane moving distance is determined according to the image coordinates. Two dimensional coordinates of the space point are obtained by the expression coefficients. Finally, the depth coordinates are computed, and three-dimensional reconstruction of the spatial points is completed. Experiments of three-dimensional measurements of the calibration board with different angles and circuit boards are conducted. The results show that the maximum error of the distance measurement is controlled into 0.84%, and the maximum angle measurement error is controlled into 4.56%.

Opis:
A disparity servoing based fast autofocusing method is proposed for stereomicroscopes according to linear relationship between the disparity change in stereomicroscopic images and the move distance of a motorized translation stage. For a certain stereomicroscope, the calibration of a disparity range of clear images at each magnification is implemented offline. After that, the disparity of the stereomicroscopic image is used as an index to represent the sharpness of an arbitrary image. If the disparity does not satisfy the requirement, move steps and direction of a step motor are calculated by utilizing the linear relationship between the disparity change and the move distance of the stage. The iteration will be continued until the disparity of the captured stereomicroscopic image approximates to the clearest disparity. The experimental results show that the proposed method only requires a few iterations and less time to reach the focus position, and the disparity error is less than 0.5 pixel.

The structural, elastic anisotropy and thermodynamic properties of the I4mm-B₃C are investigated using first-principles calculations and the quasi-harmonic Debye model. The calculated elastic anisotropic suggest that I4mm-B₃C is elastically anisotropic with its Poisson ratio, shear modulus, the Young modulus, the universal anisotropic index, shear anisotropic factors, and the percentage of elastic anisotropy for bulk modulus and shear modulus. The quasi-harmonic Debye model, using a set of total energy versus molar volume obtained with the first-principles calculations, is applied to the study of the thermal and vibrational effects. The thermal expansions, heat capacities, the Grüneisen parameters and the Debye temperatures dependence on the temperature and pressure are obtained in the whole pressure range from 0 to 90 GPa and temperature range from 0 to 2000 K.
