Opis:: The term "virtual organization" has emerged in practice and management theory in the early nineties of the twentieth century. This concept does not have a uniform definition. It is dominated by two main approaches: procedural and structural. The first approach refers to the operations and activities of the organization (processes), and the second focuses on the structure of the organization, its components and interconnections among these elements. A continuous evolution of this concept is also the result of the lack of a uniform definition of the organization as well as economic and business practices associated with the use of such structures. The aim of this paper is to present the author's research results in the diagnosis of the current situation and proposals to implement the concept of virtual supply chains in online stores.

Opis:: Freight market passenger cars in Poland is highly competitive. A large number of competitors makes it a competitive advantage to determine even small differences in prices of transport services offered. In this article author's goal is to develop methods to optimize the cost of transport operations in the selected company. Objective was achieved through the analysis of the logistics chain (transport) in the company's proposal Adampol SA and optimizing of loading and unloading operations, leading to lower their costs.

Opis:: The development of road and rail infrastructure is one of the priorities of EU transport policy. Transportation projects often result in conflicts with local communities. Conflicts make the implementation of projects expands and becomes more expensive. The same is true in the case of two transport projects Via Baltica and Rail Baltica. Already at the design stage, they led to a number of social conflicts in the ecological. Our aim is to show ways of resolving social conflicts and the possibility of applying them to solve problems concerning the implementation of transport projects. Proper preparation of the project on transport infrastructure should take into account not only its technical aspects but also social conditions. Preparatory activities, which may include public consultation, avoid protests and conflicts.

Opis:: Analiza bibliometryczna artykułów naukowych dostarcza cennych informacji o strukturze zarówno nauki, jak i jej wybranych obszarów (np. zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw). Autorzy artykułu dokonali przeglądu publikacji w "Gospodarce Materiałowej i Logistyce" za lata 2010-2012 z zastosowaniem narzędzi analizy bibliometrycznej. Celem przeglądu była identyfikacja obszarów badawczych w zakresie zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw oraz ustalenie zawartości i struktury. Cel badań został zrealizowany poprzez analizę bibliometryczną bazy opublikowanych w latach 2010-2012 artykułów (ich anglojęzycznych abstraktów). Rezultaty analizy posłużyły do sformułowania wniosków dotyczących kluczowych, newralgicznych kierunków rozwojowych badań zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw w polskim obszarze badawczym na najbliższe lata.
Bibliometric analysis of scientific articles provides valuable information on the structure of both science and the selec- lod areas (eg. supply chain management). The authors reviewed the publication in „Materials Management and Logistics” for the years 2010-2012 using bibliometric analysis tools. The purpose of the review was to identify areas of research in the field of supply chain management and to determine the content and structure. Aim of the study was carried out by analyzing the bibliometric database for 2010-2012 published articles (the English-language abstracts). Bibliometric analysis confirmed the high performance potential of supply chain management as an area of scientific and research activities. Despite the narrow time frame of the analysis in the study area was observed high variability subjects of articles (as well as research projects, the underlying). Some research areas have remained unchanged, and the number of published articles confirmed the continued interest of researchers defined issues (eg. transport processes within the supply chain). In some of the analyzed periods occurred more than average interest in part of the problem areas.

Opis:: Filtracja membranowa wybranych sudeckich wód leczniczych przez filtry o różnych rozmiarach porów (od 0,1 do 180 micro/m) pozwoliła zilustrować dystrybucję arsenu w wodzie wywołaną obecnością faz (roztwór, koloidy, zawiesiny) o różnych rozmiarach cząstek. Modelowanie specjacyjne wskazuje, że w większości wód specjacje arsenu (V) przeważają nad specjacjami arsenu (III). Badane wody lecznicze są zwykle w widocznej równowadze redoks dla pary As(V) / As(III).
Membrane filtration of selected curative mineral waters (Sudetes Mts., S W Poland) by filters of various (from 0.1 to 180 micro/m) pore size allowed illustrating distribution of arsenic in water which is related to size of forms (solutes, colloids, particulate matter) occurred. Speciation geochemical modelling showed that in most of curative waters, species of As(~ prevails over As(III) species. Studied curative waters are usually in apparent redox equilibrium in terms of As(V) / As(III) redox species pair.

Opis:: In this paper the relationships between the alternative machining paths and flatness deviations of the aluminum plate part, were presented. The flatness tolerance of the main surface of the plate part has crucial meaning due to the assembly requirement of piezoelectric elements on the radiator. The aluminum bodies under investigation are the base part of the radiators with crimped feathers for the train industry. The surface of the aluminum plate part was milled using three different milling strategies: along of longer or shorter side of workpiece and at an angle of 45°. The aluminum bodies were machined on milling centre ecoMILL 70 DMG MORI. The flatness deviation measurements were carried out on the Coordinated Measuring Machine Altera 7.5.5 Nikon Metrology NV. These measurements were made during the manufacturing process of the radiator, namely after machining, however, before the process crimping of feathers. The results that were obtained enables the validation of assumed milling path strategies in connection of the subsequent machining and assembly processes.

Opis:: The article presents the possibilities++ of using Rapid Prototyping (RP) technology in the manufacturing of turbine blades with small diameter holes. The object under investigation was gas turbine blade with small diameter cooling holes and holes for generating longitudinal vortices. A turbine blade model was produced by means of Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) technology and subsequently validated in terms of detection and accuracy of the obtained holes. The application of the computer tomography and digital radiography technique resulted in obtaining a series of cross-sections of the turbine blade model with a series of holes. Particular attention was pointed out at the investigation of the locations of micro-holes with a diameter of 0.3 mm. It turned out that it was impossible to make such small holes by the RP method. In the following part the results of the study on the possibilities of making the micro-holes using electrical discharge method have been presented. In addition, proposition of further works such as the development of the considerations and issues discussed in this article, has been offered.

Opis:: The so-called Bayesian reasoning is applied whenever uncertainty has to be considered as serious factor in interpretation of results. The paper presents analysis of the impact of inaccurate data on the straight line and quadratic relation fittings. This type of analysis is particularly important when one tries to decide on the type of dependence. The paper also shows examples of the Maximum Entropy Methods applied to the reconstruction of the hyperfine parameters distribution from the measured Mössbauer spectra of $GaFeO_{3}$ and the electron-positron momentum distribution from the positron annihilation data of Gd.

Opis:: Porous poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) membranes were prepared by solvent-casting/porogen leaching method. Poly(ethylene-glycol) (PEG) with two molecular weights was used as a pore former. Mechanical properties of the membranes were analyzed in tensile test. Topography, pore size and surface roughness were characterized by atomic force microscopy on both sites of the membranes. PEG leached out percentage, thickness and wettability were also measured. Osteoblast-like cells were cultured on the membranes for 24 h and 6 days, and morphology, distribution and number of adhered cells as well as secretion of proteins and nitric oxide were measured. The results show that PEG molecular weight affected size and distribution of pores on both surfaces of the membranes. It resulted also in different mechanical characteristics of the membranes. In vitro experiments show that the membranes support adhesion and growth of osteoblast-like cells suggesting their usefulness for guided tissue regeneration (GTR).

Opis:: Multicomponent single phase alloys were synthesized according to the idea of iron-average atom system. X-ray diffraction shows formation of bcc phase and traces of unidentified phase. Mössbauer spectra indicate presence of two components with different hyperfine magnetic field distributions. The high field component corresponds to the majority ferromagnetic phase. Few per cent of iron builds low field component. The dominant effect of annealing consists in an increase of the low field component.
