    Opis:
    The selection of a proper set of views to materialize plays an important role in database performance. There are many methods of view selection that use different techniques and frameworks to select an efficient set of views for materialization. In this paper, we present a new efficient scalable method for view selection under the given storage constraints using a tree mining approach and evolutionary optimization. The tree mining algorithm is designed to determine the exact frequency of (sub)queries in the historical SQL dataset. The Query Cost model achieves the objective of maximizing the performance benefits from the final view set that is derived from the frequent view set given by the tree mining algorithm. The performance benefit of a query is defined as a function of query frequency, query creation cost, and query maintenance cost. The experimental results show that the proposed method is successful in recommending a solution that is fairly close to an optimal solution.

    The main aim of this study is to determine how citizenship behaviors may be shaped in the Armed Forces. The presented study is by far the first that thoroughly examines connections between all aspects of organizational climate (OC), perceived organizational support (POS), and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) in the Polish Army. Research hypotheses were examined using data collected from a sample of 139 military officers from the Polish Land Forces. Results showed that some of the OC parameters and POS, especially those coming from other soldiers were positively connected with OCB. Implications of OCBs and practical management are discussed, and directions for future research are suggested.
    Głównym celem przedstawionego badania jest prezentacja kształtowania się zachowań obywatelskich w Siłach Zbrojnych. Prezentowane badanie jest zdecydowanie pierwszym, które dogłębnie analizuje powiązania między wszystkimi aspektami klimatu organizacyjnego, postrzeganym wsparciem organizacyjnym a organizacyjnymi zachowaniami obywatelskimi w Siłach Zbrojnych RP. Hipotezy badawcze testowano na podstawie danych zebranych na próbie 139 żołnierzy Wojsk Lądowych RP. Wyniki pokazały, że wybrane parametry klimatu organizacyjnego i wsparcia organizacyjnego, zwłaszcza te pochodzące od innych żołnierzy, były pozytywnie powiązane z organizacyjnymi zachowaniami obywatelskimi. Omówiono implikacje organizacyjnych zachowań obywatelskich, praktyki dowodzenia, a także zaproponowano przyszłe kierunki badań.

    Opis:
    Cutting fluids are used during metal cutting process to minimize the heat that is developed between tool, work piece and the chip. A good cutting fluid should absorb maximum heat from the machining zone. Heat absorption capacity of any cutting fluid used is measured by specific heat. Higher the specific heat better will the heat absorption capacity. This paper discusses a simple experimental procedure that is used to measure the specific heat of Neem oil, Honge (Karanja), Sunflower oil and Petroleum based oil (Hydro 68). This experiment is a function of temperature with respect to time. The rise in temperature with respect to time will determine the heat absorption capacity of fluids or oils or liquids. This method is validated by measuring the Specific heat of distilled water, the standard specific heat value of distilled water is 4.4 J/g/°C and measured value from the experiment is 4.5 J/g/°C. The results obtained are similar to the results observed by using other methods like TGA and DSC instruments. From the experiment the Specific Heat of Neem measured is 4.1032 J/g/°C which is high compared to Honge oil with the value of 2.3630 J/g/°C and Sunflower oil with 2.4311 J/g/°C, but less compared to hydro68 with value measured as 7.4850 J/g/°C.

    As nonlinear optimization techniques are computationally expensive, their usage in the real-time era is constrained. So this is the main challenge for researchers to develop a fast algorithm that is used in real-time computations. This work proposes a fast nonlinear model predictive control approach based on particle swarm optimization for nonlinear optimization with constraints. The suggested algorithm divide and conquer technique improves computing speed and disturbance rejection capability, demonstrating its suitability for real-time applications. The performance of this approach under constraints is validated using a highly nonlinear fast and dynamic real-time inverted pendulum system. The solution presented through work is computationally feasible for smaller sampling times and it gives promising results compared to the state of art PSO algorithm

    An almost self-complementary 3-uniform hypergraph on n vertices exists if and only if n is congruent to 3 modulo 4. A hypergraph $ H $ with vertex set $ V $ and edge set $ E $ is called bipartite if $ V $ can be partitioned into two subsets $ V_1 $ and $ V_2 $ such that $ e ∩ V_1 ≠ ∅ $ and $e ∩ V_2 ≠ ∅ $ for any $ e ∈ E $. A bipartite self-complementary 3-uniform hypergraph $ H $ with partition $ (V_1, V_2) $ of the vertex set $ V $ such that $ |V_1| = m $ and $ |V_2| = n $ exists if and only if either (i) $ m = n $ or (ii) $ m ≠ n $ and either $ m $ or $ n $ is congruent to 0 modulo 4 or (iii) $ m ≠ n $ and both $ m $ and $ n $ are congruent to 1 or 2 modulo 4. In this paper we define a bipartite almost self-complementary 3-uniform hypergraph $ H $ with partition $ (V_1, V_2) $ of a vertex set $ V $ such that $ |V_1| = m $ and $ |V_2| = n $ and find the conditions on $ m $ and $ n $ for a bipartite 3-uniform hypergraph $ H $ to be almost self-complementary. We also prove the existence of bi-regular bipartite almost self-complementary 3-uniform hypergraphs.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących procesu kształtowania się zachowań obywatelskich w Siłach Zbrojnych. Przeprowadzone badanie jest pierwszym takim badaniem kompleksowo analizującym oddziaływanie wszystkich aspektów klimatu organizacyjnego. Badanie objęło 139 żołnierzy Wojsk Lądowych RR, zaś wyniki pokazały, że wybrane parametry klimatu organizacyjnego i wsparcia organizacyjnego, zwłaszcza te pochodzące od innych żołnierzy, były pozytywnie powiązane z organizacyjnymi zachowaniami obywatelskimi. Omówiono także zjawisko syndromu dobrego żołnierza, przedstawiono organizacyjne zachowania obywatelskie i praktyki dowodzenia.
