    The article presents the latest amendments to the PRC Constitution and their meaning in a wider context. In the first and second part of the article, the content of the PRC Constitution as worded before the amendment from March 2018 is presented. The third part focuses on the amendments introduced on 11 March 2018. The last part summarizes the most significant changes and points out the meaning of the changes for the Chinese legal system.

    W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe informacje na temat treści chińskiej konstytucji i rozwoju chińskiego konstytucjonalizmu. Omówiono najbardziej reprezentatywne przypadki, które wskazują ewolucję chińskiego konstytucjonalizmu i konieczność kontroli konstytucyjnej. Wydaje się, że starania przewodniczącego Xi Jinpinga dotyczące skupienia się na stosowaniu i implementacji postanowień konstytucji mają pozytywny wpływ na chiński konstytucjonalizm.
    The aim of the paper is to present the process of evolving of the constitutionalism in People’s Republic of China. The first, introductory part briefly provides the content of the Chinese Constitution. The second part discusses the latest amendments to the Constitution and its significance. The third part is dedicated to the case study regarding application of the constitutional provisions and the mechanism of reviewing them. In the fourth paragraph, the possible future steps in development of constitutionalism was indicated. The last paragraph is dedicated to the summary.

    The greatest challenge related to using artificial intelligence systems in court proceedings is to create appropriate databases, and, even more, a black box, to understand the process of obtaining one and not another judgment with an algorithm. Simultaneously, regulations at both European and national levels will have to guarantee technological neutrality. In Poland, we are far from the system of internet courts that are operating in China. Based on the example of Estonia, however, we can see that the use of modern technologies in the justice system is possible and, most importantly, effective.
