    Na początku artykułu przedstawia się zagadnienie pojęcia wartości, z punktu widzenia filozoficznego. Wśród świata wartości, szczególne miejsce przypada niezbywalnej godności ludzkiej. W kolejnym etapie przechodzi się do szczegółowej analizy jednej z ważniejszych wartości, a mianowicie ludzkiej pracy. Rozważając wartość pracy ludzkiej, pragnie się ją śledzić poprzez śląskie doświadczenia.
    At the beginning of the article, the concept of value is presented from the philosophical point of view. Among the world of values, special place belongs to inalienable human dignity. In the next stage, one proceeds to a detailed analysis of one of the most important values, namely human work. Considering the value of human work, inevitable leads to observations through Silesian experience.

    Caring ethos is a result of natural development of mankind and has influenced on quality of social life. The ethos expresses through concern about welfare of people and giving them assistance in hard situations too. Obligation to help needy is a result of development of citizenship, social work is practical side of this care and this is an answer of social demand on assistance activity. Implementers of assistance activity are social workers, who particular area of professional activity is another person. Subject of work makes that toward social workers are formulated high expectations of ethical and moral. Professional ethos and ethics as carriers of worth, ideas and principles affect on behavior of social workers and this entire professional group. They are embedded in society setting standards of conduct. The concept of ethics is referred to description of individual activity defining the behavior model. The concept of ethos is used for description of a system norm and values a community. Ethical system regulates quality of contacts on the level of social relations and individual attitude of members of the community. Principles, norms and values organize quality of relationships in areas of social intercourse, attitude towards himself, closest and farthest surroundings.     Opis:
    Today's systems for diagnosing the technical condition of machines, including vehicles, use very advanced methods of acquiring and processing input data. Presently, work is being conducted globally to solve related problems. At the moment, it is not yet possible to create a single procedure that would enable the construction of a properly functioning diagnostic system, regardless of the selected object to be diagnosed. Hence, there is a need to conduct further research into the possibility of using already developed methods, as well as their modification to other diagnostic cases. This article presents the results of research related to the use of the Bayes classifier for diagnosing the technical condition of passenger car engine components. Damage to the exhaust valve of a spark ignition engine was diagnosed. The source of information on the technical condition was vibration signals recorded at various measuring points and under different operating conditions of the car. To describe the nature of changes in the vibration signals, the entropy measures were determined for the decomposed signal using the discrete wavelet transform is proposed.

    Opis:
    Shared mobility systems are becoming quite popular around the world. This trend has led to the continuous development of vehicle fleet and use by a growing number of individual users. Due to this, the services of shared mobility have been analysed from the viewpoint of many different aspects. Safety and security issues are particularly important for both the user and the operator. This paper is dedicated to the concept of different issues of safety and security in shared mobility solutions such as bike-, car- and scooter-sharing, peer-to-peer sharing services and on-demand riding systems. The idea of shared mobility and case study, based on problems with safety and security aspects related to that kind of mobility is presented in the text. The aim of the work was to show the importance of safety and security aspects in the shared mobility solutions.

    Objectives Gonadoliberin (GnRH) analogs may be expected to indirectly modify growth hormone (GH) total concentration and its 24-h secretion profile. As a consequence, changes in the levels of GH may modify the mechanism of sexdependent cytochromes P450 (CYP450) synthesis, including the expression of transcriptional factors. The aim of the study has been to evaluate the effect of long-term administration of a low dose of GnRH analogs on hepatic expression of CYP2C and CYP3A isoforms, and the transcription factors: pregnane X receptor (PXR), hepatocyte nuclear factor 4α (HNF4α), HNF6 and signal transducers and activators of transcription 5b (STAT5b). Material and Methods The study was carried out on adult female Sprague-Dawley rats during a 3-month treatment with dalarelin (GnRH agonist) and cetrorelix (GnRH antagonist), at a daily intraperitoneal injection (i.p.) dose of 6 μg/kg body weight/day, and 1, 2, and 4 weeks after treatment discontinuation. The concentrations of ovarian hormones and GH in the blood serum were determined by radioimmunoassay and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) method, respectively. Then, the expression of hepatic CYP450s (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction – RT-PCR, Western blot and immunohistochemistry) and transcription factors (RT-PCR) was evaluated. Results We have found that cetrorelix induces changes in the circadian pattern of GH secretion and enhances GH blood concentrations. These changes may cause increased expression of both, female-specific CYP450s (especially CYP3A9), and HNF4α/HNF6 transcription factors. Decrease in GH blood concentrations, resulting from the effect of dalarelin, may promote inhibition of female-specific CYP2C12 and CYP3A9 isoforms as well as STAT5b transcription factor. Slight changes in sex-independent CYP3A1 protein expression caused by GnRH analogs were also observed. Conclusions In adult female rats, HNF4α/HNF6 and STAT5b seem to be crucial for the regulation of GnRH antagonist/GH- and GnRH agonist/GH-dependent pattern of CYP450 expression, respectively.
