Opis:: In the face of challenges faced by today’s managers, such as unreliability of processes conducted within the company, low quality of materials, too long time of fulfilling the customer orders and missing the deadlines of their implementation, the role of dynamic parameters of the warehousing as the source of competitive advantage of a modern enterprise is growing. The aim of the study is to identify and analyze the factors determining the effective implementation of the warehousing in the Distribution Center. In the research there has been adopted the following hypothesis: with the increase in the number of customer orders, which is characterized by an increasingly smaller number of assortment items, the importance of managing constraints limiting the material flow within the warehousing is increasing. The above-mentioned hypothesis is verified in accordance with the test procedure including literature research and a case study. The research results show that the Theory of Constraints is an excellent tool supporting the transformation of the warehouse management method. With the help of the Theory of Constraints it is possible to determine precisely the places in the material flow, where the adaptation actions undertaken bring down the greatest effects.

Opis:: The awareness of the growing importance of the complexity in creating a new type of a modern enterprise strategy and in introducing changes within planning, control and organizational structures contributed to undertaking studies on relationships occurring between the complexity of a modern enterprise and its flexibility in the sector of industrial automation, as well as filling the gap relating to the cognitive impact of poor complexity management on the flexibility of the company. The main objective of the research work is to check whether there is an important relationship between the complexity of the business and its flexibility in the industrial automation sector. Quantification of the relationship between these two quantities – the complexity and flexibility – happened by the use of the Multidimensional Correspondence Analysis (MCA) and Perceptual Maps. The study which has been carried out indicated that the flexibility and complexity functions in the enterprise management rise, however, the knowledge of these issues is highly insufficient. The research discovered that the obstacles which hamper striking a balance between the flexibility and complexity in their advanced stages exert a devastating impact on the quality of the process management. Reducing the flexibility at its higher levels generates a context in which the market risk is enhanced. Companies characterised by improper flexibility management bear higher workforce costs and their processes of decision-making last longer. Methodical and systematized study of flexibility and complexity will decrease the destructive influence of the interaction between these two categories.

Opis:: W artykule omówiono wybrane środki transportu pod kątem realizacji usług przewozowych w turystyce krajowej. Zrealizowano zadanie pozwalające na ocenę wybranych środków transportu w odniesieniu do indywidualnych preferencji autorów pracy. Została w tym celu przeprowadzona podróż na trasie Radom – Gdańsk – Warszawa – Radom trzema środkami transportu: samolot, pociąg, autokar.
The article presents the selected means of transport with regards to realization of transport services in domestic tourism. It was done the task, which allowed for assessment the selected means of transport with reference to personal preference of the authors. For this purpose authors prepared a trip Radom - Gdańsk - Warsaw - Radom based at means of transport: airplane, train, coach.

Opis:: Commutators and rings are inseparable elements of high-power electric motors. In case of rotating electric machines, the centrifugal force of the rotor rotating mass causes damage to the commutator or rings after some time. Such damage is one of the biggest threats that causes long-term outage. Ineffective diagnostic activities are among the sudden and unexpected causes of their failure. Selecting an appropriate diagnostic method is a way to prevent a serious accident. The paper presents a diagnostic method, which detects the progressive damage right at the initial stage of its development. Consequently, it is possible to prevent serious failures and long outage for repairs. The development of an accurate measuring head for work in motion has allowed to determine the temperature and geometry of the commutator or ring. The measurement methods performer at a outage do not allow to determine whether the commutator geometry and temperature under the influence of centrifugal force will change dangerously or not. The proposed diagnostic method avoids this problem.
Nieodłącznym elementem elektrycznych silników dużej mocy są komutatory i pierścienie. W przypadku wirujących maszyn elektrycznych siła odśrodkowa wirującej masy wirnika po pewnym czasie doprowadza do uszkodzenia komutatora lub pierścieni. Takie uszkodzenia należą do największych zagrożeń, powodujących długotrwały przestój. Wśród przyczyn nagłych i niespodziewanych ich awarii są nieskuteczne działania diagnostyczne. Dobór właściwej metody diagnostycznej umożliwia zapobieżeniu ciężkiej awarii.Prezentowana metoda diagnostyczna wykrywa postępujące uszkodzenie już na początkowym etapie jego rozwoju. Dzięki temu można zapobiec ciężkim awariom i długim przestojom na remont. Opracowanie dokładnej głowicy pomiarowej do prac w ruchu pozwoliło na określenie temperatury i geometrii komutatora lub pierścienia. Metody pomiarów na postoju nie pozwalają stwierdzić czy geometria i temperatura komutatora pod wpływem siły odśrodkowej nie ulegnie niebezpiecznej zmianie. Wady tej nie ma proponowana metoda diagnostyczna.

Opis:: W artykule omówiona została problematyka dotycząca zagadnień związanych z organizacją imprez masowych. Przedstawiono zasady organizacji imprezy masowej jako systemu, w którym logistyka jest niezwykle ważnym elementem–przedstawiono zarówno istotę, jak i znaczenie wsparcia logistycznego w organizowaniu imprez o charakterze masowym. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie procedury organizacji Air Show jako imprezy masowej. W części pierwszej przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia teoretyczne dotyczące logistycznej obsługi imprez masowych. Przedmiotem rozważań ujętych w drugiej części artykułu jest organizacja imprezy masowej Air Show w Radomiu jako studium przypadku. Wskazano podmioty odpowiedzialne za organizację i finansowanie tego przedsięwzięcia. Przedstawiono szczegółowy harmonogram działań warunkujących prawidłowy przebieg imprezy. Położono nacisk na znaczenie służb odpowiedzialnych za bezpieczeństwo i porządek. Logistyczna obsługa Air Show wiąże się również z zapewnieniem dojazdu do lotniska ze stref parkingowych. Biorąc pod uwagę charakter, w tym rangę i wielkość tego rodzaju wydarzenia, w artykule uwzględniono wszystkie te elementy, które składają się na logistyczną obsługę imprezy masowej - Air Show. Artykuł składa się z dwóch części, teoretycznej - przygotowanej w odniesieniu do uregulowań prawnych stosowanych w zakresie organizacji imprez masowych i empirycznej - opracowanej na podstawie obserwacji i badań własnych przeprowadzonych przez autorki artykułu.
In the article there was discussed issues related to organization of the mass events. There was presented rules of organizing a mass event as an element of logistics development – presented both the essence and the importance of logistical support in the organization of the mass events. In the first part there was presented some selected theoretical issues related to logistic service of the mass event. The subject of reflection in the second part of this article is organization of the mass event Air Show in Radom as a case of study. There was indicated the entities responsible for organizing and financing this event. There was presented detailed schedule of activities that will determine the correct course of the event. There was emphasized on the importance of security and ordering services. Logistical service of Air Show is also related to the availability of access to the airport form the parking areas. All these elements make up the logistic service of the mass event, emphasizing the high importance and magnitude of this kind of event.
