    The article presents the current state of the domestic power industry, with special emphasis on gas in the energy portfolio, analysing the process of becoming independent from natural gas supplies from Russia. The second part of the publication presents the author's reflections on the energetics industry in the Pomeranian Voi-vodeship, the development of innovative power engineering branches and the perspectives of turning away from high-emission fossil fuels. The author puts particular attention to the planned development of the offshore wind energy sector in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, which will be a driving force for the region's economy.

    Electricity significantly determines the possibility of development of technical civilisation, both on a global and local scale. The availability of energy determines the diversity of civilisational development of communities inhabiting particular areas of the earth. The Internet, in turn, as a tool conducive to the human species, induces many opportunities while simultaneously generating threats. The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems used in the power industry are key elements in the operation of industrial facilities and critical infrastructure, while also being vulnerable to cyberattacks. Successful cyberattacks can cripple internal processes, cause financial losses and potentially lead to unwanted block-outs.

    Opis:
    W Polsce, operatorzy systemów dystrybucyjnych są zobligowani do zapewnienia ciągłości zasilania u odbiorców końcowych oraz skracaniu przerw w dostawach energii. Obecnie w części sieci dystrybucyjnych polskiego systemu elektroenergetycznego komunikacja odbywa się z wykorzystaniem dyspozytorskiej sieci radiowej TETRA. Porównując ten standard do standardu IEC 61850, zauważyć można, że charakteryzuje się on wolną transmisją danych oraz długim czasem zestawienia połączenia. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań otrzymane w procesie rekonfiguracji sieci SN, badania zostały przeprowadzone na stanowisku symulującym sieć SN.
    In Poland, distribution system operators are obliged to ensure continuity of supply to final consumers and shortening interruptions in energy supplies. Currently, in some of the distribution networks of the Polish power system communication takes place using the dispatching radio network TETRA. Comparing this standard to the IEC 61850 standard, it can be noted that it is characterized by slow data transmission and long connection setup time. The article presents the results of the research received in the process of MV network reconfiguration, studies were carried out on the station simulating the SN network.

    Badania oparte na standardzie IEC 60255 mają postać szeregu testów wymaganych oraz opracowanych na podstawie owego standardu. Testom zostały poddane wybrane funkcje zabezpieczeniowe zaimplementowane w testowanych przekaźnikach zabezpieczeniowych REF 615 firmy ABB. Celem było porównanie otrzymanych wartości z deklarowanymi przez producenta oraz wyznaczenie zależności w funkcji rożnych, zmiennych warunków testowych.
    The IEC 60255 standard defines the procedures for testing the operational effectiveness of relays and precisely defines the way of determining their parameters. This paper describing the IEC 60255 standard contains a number of tests required by this standard as well as tests inspired by this standard. The tests have been subjected to selected protection functions implemented in the tested protection relays. The tests also include the determination of the actual characteristics of the function start-up times, being a supplement to the rated parameters claimed by the relay manufacturer.

    W artykule opisano badania modelu sieci SN wyposażonego w przekaźniki REF615 Serii Relion firmy ABB oraz tester zabezpieczeń CMC 256-6 firmy OMICRON. Na stanowisku badawczym na Wydziale Elektrotechniki i Automatyki Politechniki Gdańskiej przeprowadzono badania czasu przesyłania komunikatów GOOSE oraz retransmisji danych za pomocą testera zabezpieczeń CMC 256-6. Wyniki potwierdziły niezawodność oraz powtarzalność czasów przesyłu danych.
    The article describes the research of the SN network model equipped with REF615 relays of the ABB Relion Series and the CMC 256-6 security tester of the OMICRON company. The time of GOOSE messaging and data retransmission was tested using the CMC256-6 security tester. The results confirmed the reliability and repeatability of data transfer times.

    The objective of this paper is to present the investigations of the heat transfer process carried out by means of the multi-ribbon mixer. It is shown that the heat transfer process for the synergic effect of the mixing process and the flowing liquid through the mixer has significantly higher values of the heat transfer coefficients than the mixer with motionless impellers. The empirical correlations between the heat transfer coefficient and the operational parameters obtained in this work can provide guidance for the design and operation of an apparatus equipped with the multi-ribbon impeller. These empirical correlations can be used to predict the heat transfer coefficient for the multi-ribbon mixer.
