    Opis:
    In the Polish part of the metamorphic envelope of the granitoid Rohače pluton, migmatites are the predominant component. Migmatisation took place in the amphibolite facies conditions (T = 690–780C ; P =7.5–11 kbar). To observe the response of zircon crystals to the melt formation, zircon from the anatectic group of migmatites was investigated (both from leucosome and mesosome of stromatitic migmatite). Different generations of zircon present in leuco- and mesosome reflect different geological processes acting during the rock formation. Zircon from leucosome represent mainly the euhedral varieties, with two typological maxima: S1-2 (I generation) and S21-22 (II generation). Zircon from mesosome represents the anhedral varieties with one maximum at S1 (I gen-eration). In CL images the first generation (S1-2) comprises an inherited core surrounded by younger metamorphic and magmatic rims. The microchemical analyses showed that the inherited cores have higher Zr/Hf ratios than the overgrowing rims. The second genera-tion (S21-22) revealed only oscillatory zonation. The zones with strong luminescence are characterized by a decrease of Hf and U con-tent. Zircon showing polyphase internal structure might represent a component of mesosome which survived the dissolution in granitic melt, while zircon with oscillatory zonation might have crystallized from anatectic melt.

    Based on the operational measurement, of which content was to determine ladle thermal profile, there were analysed causes of possible damage of lining in steel ladles by steel breakout through the ladle shell. There exists connection between thermal state of ladle lining during the operation and its lifetime. There were reached to the conclusion that the cause of failure in the lining of ladle is except for high temperature of bath, also wide interval of temperature change during the tap operation, in consequence with possible insufficient pre-heating of ladle, discontinuous operation of aggregate and damage of insulating lining layer, respectively deformation of ladles shell.

    The $\text{}^{57}$Fe, $\text{}^{119}$Sn, $\text{}^{129}$I, and $\text{}^{151}$Eu Mössbauer spectroscopy, scanning force microscopy, and optical fluorescence method were applied to study biological systems starting from porphyrins, through cytochromes and cell membranes until such a complex system as photosystem II. In Fe-porphyrin aggregates iron atoms are able to trap an electron exhibiting the mixed valence Fe$\text{}^{3+}$-Fe$\text{}^{2+}$ relaxation process. In ironcytochrome c the presence of two different Fe$\text{}^{3+}$ states are indicated, while in tincytochrome Sn appears in Sn$\text{}^{4+}$ and Sn$\text{}^{2+}$ states. From the temperature dependence of the mean square displacement of the resonance nuclei and from the diffusional broadening of the Mössbauer line it was possible to separate the vibrational, fast collective and slow collective motions in tinporphyrin and in iron- and tin-cytochrome c. The electronic state of iodine in oleic acid, the main constituent of cellular membranes, was determined. The molecular mechanism of triphenyltin interaction with membrane of red blood cells has been suggested and the model of haemolysis has been proposed. In photosystem II, Eu ions replacing calcium showed Eu$\text{}^{3+}$ to Eu$\text{}^{2+}$ transition after illumination with light, which points out the possible role of Ca$\text{}^{2+}$ ions in electron transfer in the process of photosynthetic water splitting process.

    Opis:
    This article deals with assessment and risk reduction measures in explosive atmospheres, respectively of natural gas filling station CNG for cars, lorries and buses. The filling station was monitored for two years and FMEA have been applied to define and evaluate deficiencies, suggest corrective measures to reduce the number of failures in the system. Application of the method FMEA helped by identifying and minimizing the likelihood of failures in the system, which is of great importance from the viewpoint of preventing the occurrence of adverse events.
    Artykuł zajmuje się oceną ryzyka i środków redukcji w przestrzeniach zagrożonych wybuchem, dla gazu ziemnego CNG na stacjach przy napełnianiu samochodów osobowych, ciężarówek i autobusów.Stacja paliw była monitorowana przez dwa lata gdzie zastosowano metodę FMEA do zdefiniowania i oceny braków, sugerując środki zaradcze w celu zmniejszenia liczby awarii w systemie. Zastosowanie metody FMEA pomaga poprzez identyfikację i minimalizację prawdopodobieństwa wystąpienia awarii w systemie, co ma ogromne znaczenie z punktu widzenia zapobiegania występowaniu działań niepożądanych.

    Mössbauer spectroscopy was applied, for the first time, to study the interaction of copper ions with the non-heme iron and the heme iron of cytochrome b$\text{}_{559}$ in photosystem II thylakoids isolated from a Chlamydomonas reinhardtii photosystem I minus mutant. We showed that copper ions oxidize the heme iron and change its low spin state into a high spin state. This is probably due to deprotonation of the histidine coordinating the heme. We also found that copper preserves the non-heme iron in a low spin ferrous state, enhancing the covalence of iron bonds as compared to the untreated sample. We suggest that a disruption of hydrogen bonds stabilizing the quinone-iron complex by Cu$\text{}^{2+}$ is the mechanism responsible for a new arrangement of the binding site of the non-heme iron leading to its more "tense" structure. Such a diamagnetic state of the non-heme iron induced by copper results in a magnetic decoupling of iron from the primary quinone acceptor. These results indicate that Cu does not cause removal of the non-heme iron from its binding site. The observed Cu$\text{}^{2+}$ action on the non-heme iron and cytochrome b$\text{}_{559}$ is similar to that previously observed forα-tocopherol quinone.

    Artykuł podejmuje problematykę rozwoju ekologicznej produkcji rolnej w województwie lubuskim. Przedstawiono w nim analizę zmian w tym sektorze produkcji w ostatnich latach oraz określono istotne czynniki wzrostu dla tej sfery produkcji w najbliższym okresie. W analizie wykorzystano dane statystyczne pochodzące ze statystyki publicznej jak i instytucji publicznych zajmujących się problematyką sektora produkcji rolnej w Polsce.
