    Od kilku lat zauważa się systematycznie pogarszające się statystki dotyczące rozwodów. W Polsce co trzecie małżeństwo rozpada się. Próbą zaradzenia tej sytuacji jest podnoszenie jakości przygotowania narzeczonych do sakramentu małżeństwa. W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiona została nauka Kościoła katolickiego dotycząca przygotowania do zawarcia małżeństwa. Konstruowane w tym celu specjalistyczne programy powinny pomagać nupturientom we wzajemnym poznawaniu się oraz stwarzać pozytywne warunki do powstawania udanych małżeństw. W drugiej części artykułu zaprezentowana została strategia FOCCUS. Narzędzie to pomaga nupturientom dowiedzieć się więcej o sobie, pomaga im lepiej poznać się jako para, pozwala diagnozować zarówno mocne, jak i słabe strony wzajemnej relacji poprzez analizę różnych sfer życia narzeczeńskiego. Ostatnia część artykułu to sugestie pastoralne. Nabywanie przez narzeczonych umiejętności wspólnego rozwiązywania problemów oraz podnoszenie jakości komunikacji interpersonalnej jawi się jako wyzwanie pastoralne. Te dwa obszary są bowiem najbardziej predyktywnymi wskaźnikami jakości przyszłego związku.
    Over recent years it is observed the deterioration of divorce statistics. In Poland every third marriage falls apart. In order to remedy the situation, the quality of marriage preparation for engaged couples should be raised. In the first part of the article, the author presents the Catholic Church teaching concerning the preparations for a marriage. The specialist, designed for this purpose, programs should help nupturients to get to know each other and create favourable conditions for entering into happy marriages. In the second part of the article, the FOCCUS strategy is presented. The tool helps nupturients to learn more about each other and to explore their relationships. Moreover, it enables them to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses in their relationships thanks to the analysis of the various spheres of the engagement period. The last part of the article concerns pastoral suggestions. Acquiring by nupturients the abilities to solve problems together and raising the quality of their interpersonal communication seems to be the pastoral challenges. The two areas are the most predictive indicators of the future marriage quality.

    Artykuł podejmuje problematykę religijności nupturientów oraz małżonków widzianą jako kryterium jakości narzeczeństwa i małżeństwa. Pierwsza część artykułu prezentuje kryteria dojrzałej religijności. Tylko taka bowiem religijność może być związana z kształtowaniem zarówno ogólnej jakości życia człowieka, jak również życia w związku małżeńskim. Część druga artykułu nawiązuje do teorii jakości związku autorstwa Grahama Spaniera i Roberta Lewisa. Model tych autorów uznawany jest za najszerzej obejmujący swym zakresem znaczeniowym omawiane pojęcie, czyli jakość związku małżeńskiego. Trzecia część artykułu ukazuje związki religijności z ogólną jakością małżeństwa, z komunikacją interpersonalną oraz z rozumieniem miłości.
    The article deals with the issue of the religiousness of nupturients and married couple perceived as the criterion of the quality of the engagement period and marriage. The first part of the article presents the criteria of mature religiousness. Only such religiousness may be connected with shaping the overall quality of people’s life and the quality of living in marital relationship. The second part of the article relates to the theory of the quality of marital relationship by Graham Spanier and Robert Lewis. Their model seems to be the widest-ranging in terms of the meaning of the issue in question, namely the quality of marital relationship. The third part of the article presents the connection between religiousness and the overall quality of marriage with interpersonal communication and the understanding of love.

    Miłość małżeńska przedstawiana jest przez różne dyscypliny naukowe jako fundament życia małżeńskiego. Teologia oraz psychologia, choć wykazują podobieństwa w interpretacji miłości, to jednak dla obu dyscyplin naukowych są to różne pojęcia. Zasadnicza różnica dotyczy źródeł jej pochodzenia. Teologia wskazuje na Boga, natomiast dla psychologii to relacja pojawiająca się jedynie między małżonkami. Dla teologii miłość małżeńska jest fundamentem sakramentalnego związku, jest podstawowym i wrodzonym powołaniem każdej osoby ludzkiej. Realizowana w małżeństwie prowadzi do świętości małżonków. Psychologia natomiast w miłości małżeńskiej widzi warunek podnoszenia jakości i stabilności związku mężczyzny i kobiety. Artykuł podejmuje analizę miłości małżeńskiej z perspektywy obu dyscyplin naukowych w życiu świętych małżonków: Luigiego i Marii Quattrocchi oraz Louisa i Zelii Martin. Dwie części artykułu prezentują kolejno teologiczne oraz psychologiczne rozumienie miłości. Natomiast w części trzeciej artykułu zawarte zostały przykłady miłości małżeńskiej w życiu obu małżeństw. Wypowiedzi pochodzące z listów małżeńskich i rodzinnych to realna rozmowa członków rodziny czyniona na użytek własny, domowy. Teksty źródłowe o charakterze autobiograficznym potwierdzają miłość małżeńską w życiu obu par w ujęciu teologicznym i psychologicznym.
    Love in marriage is presented by different scientific disciplines as a foundation of married life. Although theology and psychology reveal similar meaning of love, they are different approaches for both scientific disciplines. The sources of love constitute the key difference. Theology points to God as the source of love, while psychology sees love as a relationship between spouses. For theology, conjugal love is the foundation of the sacramental relationship, it is the basic and innate vocation of every human person – realized in marriage, leads to the sanctity of the spouses. Psychology, on the other hand, recognizes spousal love as a requirement for improving the quality and stability of the relationship between a man and a woman. The article evaluates marital love from the perspective of both scientific disciplines in the lives of holy spouses: Luigi and Maria Quattrocchi, and also Louis and Zelie Martin. The two parts of the article successively present theological and psychological understanding of love. While the third part of the article introduces examples of love in marriage in the life of both couples. Statements from marital and family correspondence form a real conversation between family members conducted for private, domestic reasons. The source texts of an autobiographical character confirm the presence of marital love in the lives of both couples in its theological and psychological understanding.

    Przedmiotem analizy niniejszego artykułu było ukazanie roli postaw rodzicielskich w minimalizowaniu podatności młodzieży na manipulacyjne oddziaływanie grup kultowych (sekt). W pierwszej części artykułu została przedstawiona problematyka związana z manipulacyjnymi działaniami grup kultowych. Istota manipulacji sprowadza się do przejęcia kontroli jednej osoby nad drugą bez wiedzy i zgody tejże osoby. Powyższe zagadnienie to aspekt przedmiotowy analizowanej w artykule zależności. Druga część artykułu ukazuje aspekt podmiotowy analizowanej zależności, czyli uwarunkowania podatności w okresie dorastania młodego człowieka. Trzecia część artykułu to sugestie profilaktyczne związane z właściwymi postawami rodzicielskimi. Działaniami zapobiegawczymi są postawy rodziców: akceptująca, współdziałania z dzieckiem, właściwa swoboda oraz uznawanie praw dziecka. W kontekście takich postaw możliwe jest skuteczniejsze promowanie właściwych systemów wychowawczych, dążenie do prawidłowego rozwoju moralnego oraz wzmacnianie tych cech osobowości, które prowadzą do kształtowania dojrzałej osobowości. Dokonana analiza upoważnia do stwierdzenia, że preferowane przez rodziców postawy mogą minimalizować podatność dorastających dzieci na manipulacyjne oddziaływania.
    The subject of the analysis of this article is to present the role of parental attitudes in minimizing the vulnerability of the youth to manipulative effects of cult groups (sects). The first section of the article presents the issue related with manipulative actions of cult groups. The essence of manipulation is broken down to taking control of one person by another without the knowledge and consent of this individual. The above-mentioned issue is the subject aspect of the dependency analyzed in this article. The second part of the article presents the subject aspect of the analyzed dependency, meaning the conditions of dependency during the growing-up period in a young man’s life. The third part of the article contains preventive suggestions related with proper parental attitudes. Parental attitudes are preventive actions: one, which is accepting, of cooperation with the child, proper freedom and acknowledging the child’s rights. It is possible to promote proper upbringing systems in the context of such attitudes, as well as striving for proper moral development and strengthening the personal traits, which lead to developing a mature personality. The analysis entitles to a conclusion that the attitudes preferred by parents can minimize the vulnerability of growing children to manipulative effects

    Problematykę śmierci i umierania podejmują różne dyscypliny naukowe i każda z nich wnosi własne rozumienie rozważanych pojęć: śmierci i umierania. Niniejsza refleksja ma charakter jedynie psychologiczno-teologiczny (pastoralny) i zmierza do znalezienia odpowiedzi jak pomóc osobom w obliczu tych niepowtarzalnych wydarzeń. W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiona jest problematyka śmierci w perspektywie teologii. Konieczne jest więc zatrzymanie się na Objawieniu Bożym i nauce zawartej w Piśmie Świętym. Zarówno Stary Testament, jak również Nowy Testament podejmują bardzo wyraźnie rozważane pojęcie. Zbawczy charakter śmierci chrześcijanina wiąże się ze zbawczą śmiercią Chrystusa. W drugiej części artykułu - perspektywa psychologii - ukazany jest wyraź niej proces umierania a nie sam moment śmierci. Pozytywny sens ludzkiej śmierci psychologowie dostrzegają w kontekście wcześniejszego sensownego życia. Przezwyciężyć bezsens śmierci jawi się jako psychologiczne wyzwanie dla osób towarzyszących osobom umierającym. W takim kontekście zaprezentowany jest model umierania według Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. Ostatnia część artykułu to sugestie pastoralne. Posługa pastoralna podejmowana w Kościele przez duszpasterzy powinna uwzględniać psychologiczne uwarunkowania dotyczące procesu umierania oraz śmierci.
    The issue of death and dying is examined by various scientific disciplines and each of them enriches the understanding of the notions in question: death and dying. The article has a merely psychological and theological (pastoral) character and aims at finding the answers how to help people in the face of these unrepeatable events. In the first part of the article the author presents the issue of dying from the perspective of theology. Therefore, one needs to consider Divine Revelation and the teachings included in the Holy Bible. The Old Testament, as well as the New Testament clearly deal with the issue in question. The redemptive character of a Christian’s death is connected to the redemptive death of Jesus Christ. In the second part of the article – psychology perspective – the author presents more clearly the process of dying, not the moment of death itself. Psychologists see the positive sense of death in the context of a previous meaningful life. The persons who accompany dying people face the psychological challenge of overcoming the senselessness of death. In such a context the model of dying according to Elisabeth Kübler-Ross is presented. The last part of the article deals with pastoral suggestions. The pastoral ministry undertaken in Church by priests should take into account the psychological conditions connected to the process of dying and death.

    Jednym z najważniejszych zadań chrześcijanina jest „posługa myślenia”, o której uczył Jan Paweł II. Zwłaszcza w obliczu antychrześcijańskiej propagandy, która narzuca wizję Kościoła odrażającego, szpetnego, brzydkiego – Ecclesia turpis. Pytanie problemowe brzmi: jak ma reagować chrześcijanin wobec tej propagandy, wykorzystując posługę myślenia?Punktem wyjścia w artykule jest analiza papieskiego pojęcia „posługa myślenia” i zagrożenia wynikającego z odrzucenia tej posługi, tj. kształtowania mentalności niewolnika. Kolejny etap to rozpatrzenie współczesnych mechanizmów zohydzania Kościoła przejawiających się w przypisywaniu mu czynów kryminalnych na ogromną skalę oraz wywoływaniu u odbiorców negatywnych emocji. Na końcu przedstawiono stanowisko wobec powyższego procesu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem problemu wykorzystywania seksualnego nieletnich przez duchownych. Artykuł ma charakter teologiczno-psychologiczny.
    The ministry of thinking taught by Pope John Paul II is one of the most important task of a Christian. On the other hand, this is an anti-Christian propaganda which creates a vision of the Church as repugnant, unsightly and ugly – Ecclesia turpis. The problem question is: how a Christian should react to the propaganda process using the ministry of thinking? The analysis of the concept of Pope John Paul II’s “ministry of thinking”, as well as the dangers resulting from the rejection of this ministry, namely shaping the mentality of a slave, is a starting point in the article. In the next stage the author elaborates on the contemporary mechanisms used in order to disparage the Church by attributing to it the criminal offences on a large scale and evoking negative emotions in the minds of the recipients. The final reflection presents the proposition of the Approach towards the above-mentioned process, with particular reference to the problem of the sexual abuse of minors by the clergy. The article is of theological and psychological nature.

    The concept of marital communio amoris expressed in the apostolic exhortations Familiaris Consortio of John Paul II and Amoris Laetitia of Pope Francis is the subject of this paper. In theology, this phrase has generally been used to describe the relationship of the Divine Persons in the Trinity. The phrase communio amoris in relation to marriage and family comes from the theological thought of John Paul II. The Pope used this term several times in the exhortation. An important issue is the reference of the phrase “communion of love” to spouses entering into a sacramental union. Pope Francis, although he uses the phrase to refer to Trinitarian relationships, does not explicitly use this expression to refer to marital relationships. Communio amoris, however, can be read into the concept of marital love presented in Amoris Laetitia.
