    Opis:
    The boundaries of land-records plots are shown in the real estate cadastre on the basis of documentation created as a result of geodetic and legal activities, connected with determining the location of existing border points. The course of land plots’ boundaries should be considered in the aspect of technological and legal space. This implies the need for an analysis of the problems accompanying the implementation of standards for electronic data exchange (EDI) of land-register data, and the validation process in the context of the quality of these data. The example is provided by two standards for the land records EDI: SWDE and GML.
    Praca przedstawia podstawy prawne oraz zasadność wprowadzenia standardów wymiany danych ewidencyjnych Publikacja prezentuje dwa standardy wymiany danych ewidencyjnych: SWDE oraz GML. Celem pracy jest krótka charakterystyka problemów towarzyszących implementacji standardów oraz procesu walidacji w kontekście jakości danych ewidencyjnych.

    Opis:
    Records of land and buildings, in accordance with the regulations that remain in force within Poland, act as a real estate cadastre. As a public register, they must fulfil certain specific functions and tasks expected of them. The aim of the present work is to analyse land records data, as illustrated with selected examples, as well as to assess and verify the suitability of these materials in the scope of the functions performed by the real estate cadastre, and in the context of possible legislative changes. Literature studies and the analysis of sample cadastral surveys make it possible to draw conclusions regarding the proposed changes.
    Ewidencja gruntów i budynków, w myśl obowiązujących w Polsce przepisów pełni rolę katastru nieruchomości. Jako rejestr publiczny musi spełniać pewne określone funkcje oraz stawiane przed nim zadania. Celem pracy jest analiza danych ewidencyjnych na wybranych przykładach oraz ocena i weryfikacja przydatności tych materiałów w zakresie pełnionych przez kataster funkcji w kontekście ewentualnych zmian legislacyjnych. Badania literatury oraz analiza przykładowych operatów pozwalają wysunąć wnioski dotyczące proponowanych zmian.

    The article presents selected models of 3D cadastre, accompanied by a discussion of the accuracy of the representation of model elements. Research that has been carried out on real data from the Kraków City Council is an attempt at a polemical discourse on the validity and/or necessity of introducing a multi-dimensional cadastre in Poland.
    Praca przedstawia krótką charakterystykę wybranych modeli katastru 3D wraz z omówieniem dokładności przedstawienia elementów modelu. Badania przeprowadzone na realnych danych pochodzących z Urzędu Miasta Krakowa są próbą podjęcia polemiki nad zasadnością/koniecznością wprowadzenia katastru wielowymiarowego w Polsce.

    Opis:
    Near-field scanning optical microscopy is a technique providing images of structures with spatial resolution better than λ/2, which is undetectable in far-field where the Abbe law of limiting resolution is critical. In parallel to the optical imaging, topography maps are also acquired. Near-field scanning optical microscopy measurements can be performed both in air and liquid environments. The later makes the technique very useful for biomaterials analysis offering information that could not be obtained with other methods. Our work presents the results of recent studies on application of near-field scanning optical microscopy to imaging of cells in air as well as in physiological buffers. Differences in cell's topography and morphology have been noticed between two cell lines from human bladder non-malignant (HCV29) and malignant (T24) cancers. Presented results are part of the research that characterizes physiological changes of cells depending on stage of cancer.
