Opis:
Stwierdzono powiązanie zmian chemizmu amfiboli i chlory tów z obecnością minerałów kruszcowych.
Technical development and metal demand is in opposite to decreasing finances for geological research force geologists hi create cheap and fast tools invaluable during mineral exploration. HyLogger is the result of such a research which aim was tooptimize currently existing technologies. HyLogger technology is the invention made by Dr. John Huntington 's scientific team from The Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organization (CSIRO). Basically device uses reflectance, spi.au scopy to determine mineralogy in samples. Spectra are analyzed by software and ready to be used to create visualization of the deposit. All results are described by their typical wavelength and then crosslinked with the FeO/FeO+MgO ratios. ('him m . and amphiboles have the highest potential in indicating new ore deposits. Fe, Mg and Al in relation to distance from gold occurrences show weak correlation. Magnesium content in chlorite composition is growing nearly to gold occurances. neralization is genetically connected with hydrothermal fluids and porphyry intrusions which caused mineral alteration easily recognizable by HyLogger.

Opis:
As an important component of blood cells, the red blood cell plays a vital role in many diseases such as malaria and so on. Although quantitative phase imaging techniques can be used for homogeneous cellular thickness distribution to obtain ideal results, they cannot achieve 3D morphological distribution. In this paper, a new method is presented to get a 3D morphology image of red blood cell. With this method, only two cellular quantitative phase images obtained from two orthogonal directions are needed as original information. By using the grid method, the sample is divided into many small phase cubes, and then we take a layer’s cubes into calculation so that the 3D problem could be transformed into a 2D problem to elaborate. Then it can be applied to the tomographic imaging combined with the maximum entropy method according to the two orthogonal phase images. This method has been proved by a simulation of red blood cell. The results show that cellular morphological distribution can be achieved in detail very well just based on only two orthogonal phase images.

Opis:
In this work, two collectors sodium oleate (NaOL) and benzohydroxamic acid (BHA) were used to study the synergic effect in wolframite flotation. The flotation behaviour of these collectors was investigated at various NaOL:BHA ratios. Results show that the mixtures of NaOL with BHA of different ratios result in large improvements in the recovery of wolframite and the 9:1 NaOL:BHA ratio of collector mixture produced the highest wolframite recovery. The amount of NaOL and BHA adsorbed on wolframite was measured for these various reagent mixtures. Compared with pure NaOL, the addition of a certain proportion of BHA is beneficial for NaOL adsorption. Molecular dynamics simulations indicate the formation of HOL–HA (oleic acid–benzohydroxamic acid) complex can take place spontaneously in NaOL–BHA system. Additionally, HOL–HA complex interact with the huebnerite (MnWO4) surface more easily than NaOL–HOL (the highest surface active composition in sodium oleate) and the addition of BHA enable the H of carboxyl group in HOL to generate hydrogen bonds with O atoms of huebnerite surface, resulting in a stronger affinity of mixed surfactants. These results reveal that in a binary NaOL–BHA system, the BHA can encourage greater adsorption of the NaOL.

Opis:
Microbially assisted phytoremediation is considered as the most promising eco-friendly solution for recultivation of heavy metal polluted soils. In vitro experiments can be favorable systems that allow assessing compatibility and efficiency of both partners (e.g. plant-microorganism) which reduces time and space in the initial stages of this technology. The main objective of this study was: (1) to calculate the Cd2+ accumulation factors (e.g. BCF, Ti, AF) using willow (Salix viminalis L.) inoculated with three Streptomyces sp. strains under in vitro conditions and (2) to compare obtained results with that derived from pot experiments by Złoch et al. (2017). Our results reveal significantly increase in Cd2+ accumulation capacity of Streptomyces spp. inoculated wil- low plants, indicating microbial stimulation of phytoextraction. Additionally, inoculated plants showed higher biomass production and lower lipids peroxidation level. The results revealed significant increase of MEA, BCF, Ti, MER by Strep-1 and Strep-2 in the above-ground parts of inoculated plants. Moreover, of the three strains tested, Strep-1 (Streptomyces sp. SIIB-Zn-R8) demonstrated the highest impact on the Cd2+ phytoextraction efficiency. In conclusion, the proposed in vitro model system allowed predicting Cd2+ phytoextraction capacity per- formed using inoculated willow plants with the significant reduction of both time and space.

Opis:
Calf diarrhea continues to be the major problem of calves in the neonatal period. The effect of zeolites has been increasingly studied in ruminant health in recent years. In the present study, the efficacy of cristobalite, a zeolite, in neonatal calf diarrhea was studied first time. For this purpose, twenty-five neonatal calves with diarrheas were divided into two groups, and Group 1 (n=12) received conventional treatment and Group 2 (n=13) received cristobalite (Zoosorb 10 mg/kg) orally 3 times a day in addition to conventional treatment. Escherichia coli k99 and CS31a, bovine rotavirus and bovine coronavirus were isolated from fecal samples at the beginning of the treatment, on the third day and before discharge. It was determined that the recovery period in Group 2 was 0.95 (20.6%) days shorter than in Group 1 (p<0.05) while no viral agents were found on the fifth day in Group 2, viral shedding continued in 4 of 5 calves in Group 1. In conclusion, the study revealed that cristobalite speeds the recovery time and possibly decreases viral shedding in neonatal calf diarrhea, demonstrating a remarkable efficiency in the treatment.
