Opis:: These days, not having complete data of any kind can be a big problem for different organizations when making decisions. In this article, we propose to use Shannon entropy and information gain to predict and impute missing categorical data in any data set. It is detailed with an example of how entropy is applied and knows the level of uncertainty of each attribute value. Likewise, the imputation of the missing attributes is also carried out with other imputation techniques in the Adult data set of UCI Machine Learning to denote the advantages offered by the proposed methodology.

Opis:: Currently, blended food has been a common menu item in fast food restaurants. The sales of the fast-food industry grow thanks to several sales strategies, including the “combos”, so, specialty, regional, family and buffet restaurants are even joining combos’ promotions. This research paper presents the implementation of a system that will serve as support to elaborate combos according to the preferences of the diners using data mining techniques to find relationships between the different dishes that are offered in a restaurant. The software resulting from this research is being used by the mobile application Food Express, with which it communicates through webservices. References

Opis:: In order to better understand the job requirements, recruitment processes, and hiring processes it is needed to know the people skills. For a recruiter this entails analyzing and comparing the curricula of each available candidate and determining the most appropriate candidate that the activities that are required by the position. This process must be carried in the shortest length of time possible. In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to identify those candidates, either workers or college graduates.

Opis:: This article presents a solution to deal with the optimization of delivery routes problem for a mobile application focused on the restaurant sector, by using a bioinspired algorithm (PSO) to minimize delivery costs, maximize a greater number of deliveries and recommend an optional route for food delivery. Different computational experiments are carried out by using Google Maps (API) for showing the best delivery route. The results obtained are very promising for offering a good delivery service.

Opis:: The use of the Amazon Web Services cloud enables new functionalities that are not possible with traditional solutions: low latency, local data processing and storage, and direct connectivity to other cloud services. Reimagining the way IoT connectivity services are presented by combining AWS cloud technology with mobile connectivity offers rapid prototyping to help connect devices natively over Wi-Fi. For this, the MQTT communication protocol is used to interact with the IoT device and exchange data, which allows controlling the basic functions of a sensor node. The installation is realized through a software development kit (SDK), which allows the creation of an application for Android devices. This solution gives the option to integrate together, improving the connectivity of the IoT system. The results enable board logging and network configuration, and can also be used to control the IoT device. The embedded firmware provides the required security functions.

Opis:: The objective of this research is to describe a system to aligned the hard and soft skills of the applicant to the current labor market. For this, a system was implemented which uses Web Scraping to get a general profile of an area, meanwhile for the evaluation of the applicant soft skills is used a Test Cleaver and for the hard skills fuzzy inference system is implemented. Therefore, the data is entered into an Analytic Hierarchy Process, with this, the applier is able to see which area is better to improve according to the hard and soft skills.
