Opis:
In the paper, YSZ coatings were prepared on nickel-based alloy substrates by anodic electrophoretic deposition. The YSZ suspension solution was obtained under stirring and ultrasonic treatment, in which the anhydrous ethanol and acetylacetone were used as the dispersion medium and ammonium polyacrylate was used as the dispersant of the suspension. The effects of different deposition voltage and deposition time on YSZ coating were investigated. Meantime, the microstructure of the coating surface was observed by metallographic microscope. It was found that the high-quality YSZ coating could be obtained by deposition at 60 V for 2–3 min. Finally, the effect of sintering temperature on coating quality was investigated by X-ray diffractometer and scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that the YSZ coating bonded closely with the substrate after sintering at 1200 °C, and the porosity of the YSZ coating increased after sintering.

Opis:
AgInS2 Quantum dots (AIS QDs) have high quantum yield and catalytic performance, which is promising materials in photo-catalytic and optoelectronic fields. In the paper, it adopted a simple and non-toxic method to synthesize AIS QDs. The effect of reaction temperature on the growth mechanism, optical and physical properties of AIS had been extensively investigated by using L-cysteine as the sulfur source, and their application in catalytic hydrogen production was also studied. The results demonstrated that the fluorescence properties will be quenched with the increase of temperature, indicating that the separation speed of electron hole pairs of samples obtained at higher temperature was faster. Meantime, the electron transport capacity and the photocurrent had also improved with the increase of reaction temperature. Finally, the sample obtained at 100 oC had higher hydrogen production rate.

Opis:
The electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide into valued chemicals such as formic acid has the most promising potential in applying renewable energy for useful materials and mitigating the greenhouse effect. However, the studies still focus on developing catalysts with low price and high catalytic properties. In this study, nitrogen atoms were decorated into carbon structure by a unique ultrasonic method, then the nitrogen-doped carbon material was applied as catalyst in CO2 reduction, it exhibited excellent electrochemical activity, 4 times higher than the normal method. The improved activity should be attributed to the interaction between nitrogen and carbon atoms through analysis.
