Opis:: The low-temperature hydrothermal alteration of certain rare-metal minerals is recorded in a quartz-epidote metasomatite from the Tsakhirin Khuduk occurrence in the Khaldzan-Buragtag Nb-REE-Zr deposit, Mongolian Altai. A peralkaline granitic pegmatite was metasomatized by hydrothermal fluids released from associated intrusions, with the formation of, inter alia, chevkinite-(Ce), fergusonite-(Nd) and minerals of the epidote group. The textural pattern indicates recrystallization and coarsening of these phases. Later, low-temperature alteration byfluids resulted in the chevkinite-(Ce) being replaced by complex titanite-TiO₂-cerite-(Ce)-hingganite-hydroxylbastnäsite-(Ce) assemblages. Calcite formed late-stage veins and patches. The hydrous fluids were poor in F and CO₂ but had high Ca contents.

Opis:: The article analyses strategies of sustainable development in the graphic arts industry. There are many deinitions of sustainable development, including this landmark one which first appeared in 1987: development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Sustainable development calls for a convergence between the three pillars of economic development, social equity and environmental protection. The best illustration is an equilateral triangle, divided for three triangles. Every triangle symbolizes one of pillars. If triangles are identical it means ideal proportions between the three pillars: economy, ethics and ecology. Graphic arts is a specific branch of industry. Printing industry requires special attention in view of the sustainable development because it covers three steps of production: prepress, press and postpress (very often performed in one printing house).The article analyses strategies of sustainable development in the graphic arts industry. Opis:: Mechatronics is nowadays a dominating concept in design of various kinds of systems and technical devices. High speeds of data processing by control units of mechatronic systems, as well as high dynamics of their actuators allow the systems to be applied in wider fields. This refers to the medicine as well, especially while making attempts to replace lost human motor abilities by means of robots aiding the man. These devices can be divided into three groups: exoskeletons designed to strengthen the natural force of human muscles, orthotic robots that restore lost or weakened functions of human limbs, and prosthetic robots replacing an amputated limb. The first and the third group are known quite well, whereas the orthotic robots are at an initial phase of their development. The authors have worked on a device for aiding the motion of disabled people suffering from paresis of the lower limbs. The paper presents a concept and a structure of the system that has been created, comparing it with similar devices that have already existed. There are indicated some connections and areas where the subunits merge, as well as the rules of their working with the user.

Opis:: 80 rock samples from drill-cores at 8 localities in the Mazury complex (Polish part of the crystalline East European Craton), representing rock types from monzodiorites to leucogranites, were studied for major, trace and REE elements by XRF and ICP-MS methods. The range in composition of the investigated rocks varies from 46 to 76% SiO2 contents. All of them show similar REE distributions, which suggests that they are genetically linked. They also plot along a major trend with many similarities to the jotunitic liquid line of descent defined in AMCG rocks from Rogaland (Norway). Each group of rocks has however its own specific pattern of elements.
