Celem artykułu jest ukazanie aspektu prawnego relacji kapituły do parafii złączonej z kościołem kapitulnym w świetle obowiązujących przepisów. W jego pierwszej części przedstawiono kwestię zakazu łączenia parafii z kapitułą kanonicką. W drugiej części ukazano problematykę mianowania proboszcza kapitulnego i przepisów regulujących relacje kapituły do proboszcza parafii kapitulnej. Część trzecia traktuje o ofiarach składanych na kościół kapitulno-parafialny. W zakończeniu artykułu zamieszczono wnioski, w których przypomniano zakaz powierzania parafii kapitule i konieczność mianowania proboszcza parafii, przy której istnieje kapituła kanoników.

Church archives are both ecclesiastical goods as well as cultural assets, and as such they are to be properly protected and valuated respecting the canon norms. This is why ecclesiastical institutions have long maintained various archives, and the Church authorities enacted necessary legislation. Accordingly, there is a universal obligation to establish and maintain archives in Church institutions. The presented article first deals with Church archives as envisaged by former canon law, and then the notion and types of Church archives. Next, the Author presents the duty to establish an archive. More space is devoted to the question of a diocesan archive, as well as other types of archives in the Church. Apart from the norms of universal law, the question of establishment, management, and maintenance of Church archives is to be regulated by particular law.

The first part of the article provides the canonical definition of the chapter archive as well as its goals and tasks. Przedmiotem artykułu jest problematyka aspektu liturgicznego kanonicznej wizytacji biskupiej w parafii. Za cel opracowania postawiono ukazanie i wyjaśnienie na podstawie określonych przepisów, różnego rodzaju celebracji liturgicznych realizowanych w czasie wizytacji. Tak określone zamierzenie badawcze zrealizowano poprzez opis i gruntowną analizę obowiązujących przepisów i tekstów Magisterium kościelnego. Analiza wymienionych źródeł pozwoliła na sformułowanie kilku głównych wniosków. Po pierwsze wskazano, że wizyta duszpasterska jest jednym z najważniejszych wyrazów zaangażowania biskupa diecezjalnego w służbę powierzonemu mu ludowi Bożemu. Po drugie ukazano udzielanie sakramentów przez biskupa, a po trzecie, przedstawiono problematykę celebracji pozasakramentalnych form kultu Bożego.
The subject of this article is the problem of the liturgical aspect of a bishop's canonical visitation in a parish. The aim of the study was to show and explain, on the basis of specific provisions, the various liturgical celebrations performed during the visitation. This research was realised through a description and a thorough analysis of the current regulations and texts of the Church Magisterium. The analysis of the above-mentioned sources allowed several main conclusions to be drawn. Firstly, it was pointed out that pastoral visitation is one of the most important expressions of the diocesan bishop's commitment to serve the people of God entrusted to him. Secondly, the administration of the sacraments by the bishop is shown, and thirdly, the issue of the celebration of non-sacramental forms of divine worship is presented.

This article presents the library of the theological seminary in canonical terms. The library of the seminary is an institution which collects, processes and offers readers the collections owned by the seminary. The first part of this article shows the necessity for the seminary library. It then describes the collection of the seminary library, which should contain primarily works in the field of Christian philosophy, psychology, theological sciences and materials necessary for learning foreign languages. It is emphasized that the seminary library is not only a book collection, but also the entire infrastructure, the aim of which is to serve the functioning of the library. The paper also presents those people who are in charge of the seminary library: a diocesan bishop, the rector of the seminary and a librarian, as well as other library staff, both full-time ones and volunteers.

This article is devoted to church libraries in the canonic aspect. Church library is the institution that collects, prepares and makes collections of books and manuscripts, which are the property of church institutions, available to readers. In the first part of this article the definition of the church library has been suggested, which is the organized collection of manuscripts, printing or elaborations and other resources, which aims at imparting texts and paintings, which is owned by approved or erected in canonic system institutions. Afterwards, the problem of library collection has been presented, which is the collection of manuscripts, printing or elaborations and other resources, as well as the issue of the content of these resources. The grading of libraries according to the criterion of the size of the collection of books and manuscripts has also been done. The attention was directed to the problem of maintaining and enlarging the library collection, too. A lot of attention was given to the organisation of church libraries that not only are the collections of books and manuscripts, but also collect, prepare, make available and inform about collections of books and manuscripts. Within the scope of the organization of church libraries the issue of library, rental and reading room workers has been discussed, as well as the appropriate indemnification of the collection.

Maintenance and storage of books in the bishop's curia constitute an important part of church administration. This article addresses the canonical aspect of such books.First, the provisions of the Code on the need to maintain specific registers in the curia were first introduced. Second, the books necessary for the proper management of the diocese in the curia are presented.Next, the books for the registration of certain facts of legal importance are discussed. Finally, the focus has been put on the books in force under the specific law.

Pope John Paul II repeated many times that ecclesiastical discipline concerning celibacy of clergymen in the Latin Church should be maintained. The person taking the holy orders and committing himself to keeping celibacy expresses his complete readiness to perform the ministry proper to the clergy, his readiness to embrace every man with his pastoral love, to devote all his life to salvation of other people and to devote his whole heart to God. Celibacy in many respects suits priesthood, although Christ did not make a necessary connection between them. In the first part of the article we show the reality of celibacy of clergymen, and its effects according to John Paul II's Code. Then we concentrate on the issues of sanctions for violations of the law of celibacy. Finally, the question of exemption from the obligation of celibacy is considered. It seems that the presented regulations relevant to celibacy of clergymen should help to see the gift of celibacy competently and fully.
