W celu usprawnienia pracy kurii biskup diecezjalny tam, gdzie to będzie wskazane, może mianować moderatora kurii diecezjalnej. Niniejszy artykuł podejmuje kwestię urzędu moderatora. Najpierw zwrócono uwagę na to, że moderator kurii diecezjalnej jest nowym organem w strukturze kurii diecezjalnej. Następnie przedstawiono zagadnienie osoby piastującej stanowisko moderatora kurii biskupiej. Na koniec omówiono zadania moderatora kurii diecezjalnej.
In order to improve the curia’s work, a diocesan bishop can nominate the moderator of the curia if it is necessary. This article discusses the office of the moderator of the curia. First it focuses on the fact that the moderator of the curia is a new office in the structure of the diocesan curia. Then it describes the character of the person holding the office of the moderator of the curia. Finally it outlines the duties of the moderator of the diocesan curia.

The purpose of the article is to present the issue of a promise of marriage, i.e. a legal aspect of betrothal in the light of applicable law. The first part of the article depicts betrothal as the inauguration of engagement. The second part portrays the issue of betrothal in the Code of Canon Law. The third part displays the relevant regulations of the institution of betrothal in selected norms of particular law. The article ends with conclusions and references.

The purpose of the article is to present Complementary norms to the 1983 Code of Canon Law in respect of matrimonial matters issued by the Episcopal Conferences of the United States and Canada. The author cites and assesses individual complementary norms issued by these fora. Obligatory standards are discussed first, and next optional norms are analysed. The article ends with conclusions and references.

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie zagadnienia zakupoholizmu w odniesieniu do niezdolności wyrażenia ważnej zgody małżeńskiej. W jego pierwszej części podjęto próbę zdefiniowania i opisu zjawiska kompulsywnego kupowania. W części drugiej szeroko scharakteryzowano kompulsywnie kupujących i skutki tego uzależnienia, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona problematyce zakupoholizmu w odniesieniu do zdolności osoby do podjęcia istotnych obowiązków małżeńskich. Należy skonstatować, że osoba dotknięta ciężkim zakupoholizmem nie jest w stanie zawrzeć ważnego kanonicznie małżeństwa.
The aim of the article is to present the issue of shopaholism in relation to the inability to express valid marriage consent. The first part attempted to define and de- scribe the phenomenon of compulsive buying. The second part describes compulsively buyers and the effects of this addiction, while the third part is devoted to the problem of shopaholism in relation to the person’s ability to undertake essential marital duties. It should be concluded that a person affected by severe shopaholism is unable to enter into a canonically valid marriage.

Chrystusowi w Eucharystii przysługuje kult adoracji. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie problematyki wystawiania do adoracji postaci eucharystycznych w aspekcie prawno-liturgicznym. W pierwszej części artykułu ukazano kwestię obecności Chrystusa w Eucharystii pod postaciami chleba i wina. W części drugiej przedstawiono problematykę wystawienia Chrystusa eucharystycznego pod postacią chleba, natomiast część trzecia ukazała zakaz wystawiania do adoracji Krwi Chrystusa.
Christ in the Eucharist is entitled to the cult of adoration. The aim of the article is to present the issues of presenting Eucharistic species for adoration in the legal and liturgical aspect. The first part of the article presents the issue of Christ's presence in the Eucharist under the form of bread and wine. The second part presents the problem of exposing the Eucharistic Christ in the form of bread, while the third part presents the prohibition of exposing the Blood of Christ to adoration.

This article presents a holistic legal definition of a shrine, which is included in Can. 1230. First, the shrine as a church or other sacred place has been discussed. Next, the other part of the definition of the shrine as a target of numerous pilgrimages of believers has been presented. Another condition for the existence of the shrine is a special reason of piety. Finally, the constitution for establishing the shrine is, in the canonical sense, its approval by the competent ecclesiastical authority.

Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony został organizacji katechezy w diecezji. Najpierw zaprezentowano urząd biskupa diecezjalnego, który jest pierwszym katechetą i organizuje nauczanie w swojej diecezji. Szczególnie wyeksponowano rolę wydziału katechetycznego, który winien być powołany w każdej diecezji. Końcowa część przedłożenia traktuje o organizacji kształcenia katechetó;w.
The following article is devoted to the organisation of cathesis in the diocese. Firstly, the diocesan Bishop's office is presented, who is the first catechist and is the person who organises teaching in his diocese. Next, the diocesan curia is discussed, which is the tool for helping the diocesan Bishop in organising the catechesis. The Catechetical Office, which should be set up in every diecese, is particularly emphasised. The final part of the submission is connected with the organisation of the catechists' education.

Opis:
Pope John Paul II repeated many times that ecclesiastical discipline concerning celibacy of clergymen in the Latin Church should be maintained. The person taking the holy orders and committing himself to keeping celibacy expresses his complete readiness to perform the ministry proper to the clergy, his readiness to embrace every man with his pastoral love, to devote all his life to salvation of other people and to devote his whole heart to God. Celibacy in many respects suits priesthood, although Christ did not make a necessary connection between them. In the first part of the article we show the reality of celibacy of clergymen, and its effects according to John Paul II's Code. Then we concentrate on the issues of sanctions for violations of the law of celibacy. Finally, the question of exemption from the obligation of celibacy is considered. It seems that the presented regulations relevant to celibacy of clergymen should help to see the gift of celibacy competently and fully.
