Opis:
The problem of fall is still unsolved even though it is a serious problem, especially in group of elderly. Also, another difficulty is to analyse falls that occur in day-to-day life. Those events are hard to observe by specialists and so it is hard to analyse them. Following work contains a description of experimental process for external force-caused fall observation with the use of motion capture system and dynamometric platforms. Data collected according to this protocol were later used for time series neural networks. Obtained results of analysis were compared to popular model of human stability. Conducted inquiry proves that it is possible to detect fall even before it occurs and while it is external force-caused fall the loss of stability develops earlier than it was assumed.

W artykule podjęto próbę przedstawienia typologii układów przestrzennych wsi na terenie Pomorza Zachodniego ukształtowanych w wielowiekowym okresie ich rozwoju i funkcjonowania po rok 1945. Przedstawiono kolejno: (1) specyficzny typ budynku będącego jednocześnie budynkiem mieszkalnym , gospodarczym , stajnią i oborą – zwany ‘domem halowym’,(2) charakterystyczny typ zagrody wiejskiej oraz (3) specyficzny dla Pomorza kształt osady wiejskiej. Wskazano na występujące zagrożenia, zarówno w kontekście zachodzących zmian cywilizacyjnych jak i świadomości społecznej współczesnych mieszkańców oraz na potrzebę pilnej ochrony zachowanych reliktów spuścizny dziejowej.
The lecture involves an attempt to present typology of village space patterns on the territory of West Pomerania, shaped in the course of a number of centuries` development and functioning until 1945. there were subsequently presented : (1) specific type of a building play in the role of an apartment, farmhold, barn and stable at the same time. – called a long house, (2) characteristic type of a farm and (3) specific for Pomerania shape of a village settlement. Defining, in the terms of geography and politics, the area of cultural heritage characterizing typical (for Pomerania) settlement forms, the authors pointed to already existing dangers both in the context of advancing civilization changes and in social consciousness of its contemporary inhabitants, as well as to an urgent need to protect historical monuments which have survived, giving a testimony to unique and original features of Pomeranian culture.

For some time now moral psychologists and philosophers have ganged up on Aristotelians, arguing that results from psychological studies on the role of character-based and situation-based influences on human behavior have convincingly shown that situations rather than personal characteristics determine human behavior. In the literature on moral psychology and philosophy this challenge is commonly called the “situationist challenge,” and as Prinz (2009) has previously explained, it has largely been based on results from four salient studies in social psychology, including the studies conducted by Hartshorne and May (1928), Milgram (1963), Isen and Levin (1972), and Darley and Batson (1973). The situationist challenge maintains that each of these studies seriously challenges the plausibility of virtuous personal characteristics by challenging the plausibility of personal characteristics more generally. In this article I undermine the situationist challenge against Aristotelian moral psychology by carefully considering major problems with the conclusions that situationists have drawn from the empirical data, and by further challenging the accuracy of their characterization of the Aristotelian view. In fact I show that when properly understood the Aristotelian view is not only consistent with empirical data from developmental science but can also offer important insights for integrating moral psychology with its biological roots in our natural and social life.

In this paper, a study was carried out to investigate the surface roughness and material removal rate of low carbon NiTi shape memory alloy (SMA) machined by Wire Electro Spark Erosion (WESE) technique. Experiments are designed considering three parameters viz, spark ON time (SON), spark OFF time (SOFF), and voltage (V) at three levels each. The surface roughness increased from 2.1686 μm to 2.6869 μm with an increase in both SON time, SOFF time and a decrease in voltage. The material removal rate increased from 1.272 mm3/min to 1.616 mm3/min with an increase in SON time but a varying effect was observed the SOFF time and voltage were varied. The analysis revealed that the intensity and duration of the spark had an unswerving relation with the concentration of the microcracks and micropores. More microcracks and micropores were seen in the combination of SON = 120 μs, voltage = 30 V. The concentration of the microcracks and micropores could be minimised by using an appropriate parameter setting. Therefore, considering the surface analysis and material removal, the low carbon NiTi alloy is recommended to machine with 110 μs - 55 μs - 30 V (SON - SOFF - V respectively), to achieve better surface roughness with minimal surface damage.
