Opis:
The mean molar susceptibility (χ$\text{}_{M}$) for the two compounds 3,5-dibromo-p-aminobenzoic acid, Br$\text{}_{2}$C$\text{}_{6}$H$\text{}_{2}$(p-NH$\text{}_{2}$)COOH, and 3,5-dibromo-p-hydroxybenzoic acid, Br$\text{}_{2}$C$\text{}_{6}$H$\text{}_{2}$(p-OH)COOH, has been determined. The principal molecular susceptibilities K$\text{}^{∥}$ and K$\text{}^{⊥}$ have been evaluated. The magnetic anisotropy of each of the two compounds was obtained. From the atonic coordinates, as given by the X-ray structure analysis of Br$\text{}_{2}$C$\text{}_{6}$H$\text{}_{2}$(p-NH$\text{}_{2}$)COOH, the crystal susceptibilities (χ$\text{}_{a}$, χ$\text{}_{b}$, and χ$\text{}_{c}$) have been calculated. The magnetic properties are interpreted in the light of the crystal structure.

Opis:
The electrical conductivity σ and the thermal conductivity λ were investigated at varying temperature (40 < T < 120°C) for two sulphate compounds, anhydrous mercury(II) sulphate HgSO$\text{}_{4}$ and cerous(III) sulphate Ce$\text{}_{2}$(SO$\text{}_{4}$)$\text{}_{3}$·H$\text{}_{2}$O. It seems likely that each of the two sulphate salts undergoes structural phase transition around 90°C. The differential thermal analysis thermogram was carried out as an aid for confirming of the observed phase transitions. The mechanism of the heat transfer is mainly due to phonons. Interpretation of the obtained data was given on the basis of the reorientational motion of the SO$\text{}_{4}$‾ ‾ ions.

Opis:
We report on some thermal properties (specific heat capacity C$\text{}_{p}$, thermal conductivity λ, and thermal diffusivity σ) in addition to the differential thermal analysis thermogram and thermogravimetric analysis for potassium hydrogen sulphate (KHS), KHSO$\text{}_{4}$. The accurate measurements of the above-mentioned parameters as functions of temperature revealed that the compound undergoes two structural phase transitions around 100°C and 175°C. It seems also likely that the compound behaves as a poorly conducting material and hence the maul mechanism of the heat transfer is due to phonons. The data are correlated to the crystal structure including the two different HSO¯$\text{}_{4}$ ions.

Opis:
Postharvest diseases caused by Geotricum candidum (sour rot), Penicillium digitatum (green mould), and P. italicum (blue mould) are the most important negative factors affecting handling and marketing of citrus fruits in Egypt. A new formula containing stevia leaf powder and a mixture of the three commercial chemical active ingredients: ketoconazole, fluconazole, and itraconazole has been successfully applied. Either chitosan or water wax were used as carriers, against fruit mould pathogenic fungi under laboratory and storage conditions. Results of the in vitro test showed that a complete reduction in linear fugal growth was observed when the ingredients of the new formula were used individually at a concentration of 400 μg/ml each, while a mixture of all the tested chemicals had a superior effect with all fungal growth completely inhibited with the use of the mixture at a concentration of 100 μg/ml. Similar results were recorded on citrus fruits which were coated with the suggested formula of chitosan or wax containing chemical compounds as a semi applicable technique using navel orange peel discs. Furthermore, the obtained results were confirmed using in vivo testing on navel orange and lime fruits, under artificial inoculation conditions of the pathogenic fungi within a storage period extended for four weeks. The proposed approach provides the treated agricultural products with long acting protection against microbial invasion and even association. This formula could be used as a fungicide alternative for protecting the agricultural products which have high moisture contents. The formula can be used against mould pathogens to prolong the healthy shelf life of the agricultural products. Such a treatment is safe, cheap, easily applied, and without residues which are harmful to people and the environment.

Opis:
In this article, we utilize the finite Sine-Fourier transform and the Laplace transform for solving fractional partial differential equations with regularized Hilfer-Prabhakar derivative. These transforms are used to get analytical solutions for the time fractional heat conduction equation (TFHCE) with the regularized Hilfer-Prabhakar derivative associated with heat absorption in spherical coordinates. Two cases of Dirichlet boundary conditions are considered by obtaining an analytical solution in each case. The effect of the parameters of the regularized Hilfer-Prabhakar derivative on the heat transfer inside the sphere is discussed using some figures.
