Opis:: The value systems are different in different languages. In diachronia these systems vary at a high degree. Changes in this sphere may be connected either with single value lexemes, lexical-semantic groups or much morę generał value systems. This article is devoted to researching some of these whole-language value systems. Changes in the mo- ral-ethic sphere of oppositiveness and continuality in Russian, English and some other European languages are analyzed. Much attention of the author is devoted to the opposi- tion “personal ~ impersonal” in the Russian language as well as to its correspondence to other languages.

Opis:: The article is devoted to the means of verbal influence, persuasion and suggestion in the series of books by Ernst Mouldashev entitled City of the Gods. The obje ctives ofthese means are to generate interest and credibility of reported information and developing a “divine” concept, to reduce the image of the author and to give the impression of authenticity. Cases are analyzed where the author successively copes with these tasks, as well as those where the lack of his language competence prevents him from fulfilling these goals.

Opis:: In the article, Russian communicative values have been discussed. Such values belong to the best clues for understanding a national culture. The media speech material is an effective tool for researching the communicative values. The contexts with the lexical names of three Russian communicative values and tncir parts have been selected out of the contemporary Russian newspapers with an aid of the Integrum system, and then the counotative meaning of these contexts have been analyzed.

Opis:: Practically not studied yet, the problems of a stylistic typology are being solved in this article. The basics of a speech/communicational typology are laid: the authors' basic idea is that a typization (as speech genres) is a source of the grammar categories system. The stylistic markedness is understood as planned and not-planned non-direct communication. That's why the languages’ stylistic types are being defined according to the peculiarities of the languages’ lexico-grammatical systems as well as with their "rules trespassing ruies".

Opis:: The authors consider this aspect to be a modem development of a main line of the genre theory, which was outlined by M.M. Bachtin. In the article there is a consideration of a development of Russian theory of genres in a semiotic paradigm “semantics - syntactics - pragmatics”. The search for adequate patterns of the genre constructing of speech material results in a genre typology, consists of speech genres, macrogenres, strategies and tactics within genres on such grounds as a fatic/informative modality; a quantity of interpersonal relationships; high/low verbalization of a communicative behavior of a language personality.
