    The paper shall present results of simulation research studies performed using a simulation model of a vehicle in which ABS and EBS system were taken into consideration as well as hydropneumatic suspension. A decision was made to conduct the simulation studies following three tests: circumferential fixed motion; emergency braking in curvilinear motion; stepping extortion on the steering wheel. As a result of performed simulation studies, more than 30 physical quantities were recorded describing the curvilinear motion of the AFV vehicle. The following were selected for presentation in listings: motion trajectory; progress of the value of lateral and side acceleration of the vehicle centre of inertia; progress of circumferential velocity values of driving wheels (essential at braking); progress of the vehicle velocity values recorded in the vehicle's centre of inertia and in places corresponding to positions of driving wheels; and progress of the values of vertical reaction forces under the driving wheels. Catalogue of the parameters being changed for the simulation is looked up to real objects and trends occurring in the changes being introduced. Paper presents progress of the value ofverticalforce in different conditions and vehicle motion trajectory. It also shows general diagram of hydropneumatic suspension system in view of the vehicle and diagram of hydropneumatic suspension system.

    The paper shall present the way for building a model for simulation studies of the wheeled armoured fighting vehicle with hydropneumatic suspension of driving wheels axles. Thus developed model shall be used to conduct simulation studies in the area of the vehicle safety. The scope of terms and conditions for applications of hydropneumatic suspensions in wheeled armoured fighting vehicles is justifled due to a number of their advantages, such as: progressive characteristics of elasticity provides great driving comfort with a small load, as well as apossibility of placing a considerable load on the vehicle (the requirements are mutually exclusive in classical suspension). Compressed nitrogen, sealed in the sphere using an elastic diaphragm, is approximately six-fold more flexible than steel springs elements at static load of the suspension, which provides high level of driving comfort; apossibility to lower the height of the vehicle by changing the road clearance which effects in e.g. higher availability for airborne transport and soon. However, they are not free from disadvantages; therefore, it is the studies of their justified use, especially related to traffic safety, that should have a final say in individual cases. The here to presented model of hydropneumatic suspension and the vehicle motion model are applied to assess dynamic capabilities and evaluate the real object motion safety.

    Extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy offers additional experimental evidence to the solution of site occupancy problem in ternary NiAlX alloys. A study of local order in the stoichiometric Ni$\text{}_{3}$Al$\text{}_{1-x}$Fe$\text{}_{x}$ ternary alloys (x = 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, and 0.25) by EXAFS at the K-edge of Fe in the energy range from 7000 eV to 7600 eV are presented. Three models of substitutional behavior are considered - the preferential substitution of Fe atoms in: 1) Ni sites, 2) Al sites, 3) both sites. Data analysis was performed with theoretical and experimentally determined scattered photoelectron phases and amplitudes. The results of the EXAFS analysis are consistent with the picture in which most of the Fe atoms substitute Al sites and less than 25% of Fe atoms substitute Ni sites. Alloys with more than 10 at% of Fe showed higher tendency for ordering than those containing less than 10 at% Fe.

    We present the results of numerical and experimental studies of the elastic enhancement factor W for microwave rough and rectangular cavities simulating two-dimensional chaotic and partially chaotic quantum billiards in the presence of moderate absorption. We show that for the frequency range ν=15.0-18.5 GHz, in which the coupling between antennas and the system is strong enough, the values of W for the microwave rough cavity lie below the predictions of random matrix theory and on average above the theoretical results of V. Sokolov and O. Zhirov, Phys. Rev. E 91, 052917 (2015). We also show that for the partially chaotic rectangular billiard the enhancement factor W calculated by applying the Potter-Rosenzweig model with κ=2.8±0.5 is close to the experimental one.

    The recent paper by Hul et al. (Phys. Rev. Lett. 109, 040402 (2012)}, see Ref. [7]) addresses an important mathematical problem whether scattering properties of wave systems are uniquely connected to their shapes? The analysis of the isoscattering microwave networks presented in this paper indicates a negative answer to this question. In this paper the sensitivity of the spectral properties of the networks to boundary conditions is tested. We show that the choice of the proper boundary conditions is extremely important in the construction of the isoscattering networks.

    The autocorrelation function c(x) of level velocities is studied experimentally. The measurements were performed for microwave networks simulating quantum graphs. One and two ports measurements of the scattering matrix Ŝ necessary for determining c(x) were realized for the networks possessing 5 and 6 vertices, respectively. The network with six vertices was fully connected. In the case of the networks with five vertices, additionally to the fully connected configuration, we measured the networks without the bond connecting input/output vertices. The obtained experimental results besides the autocorrelation function of level velocities, also the nearest-neighbor spacing distribution and parametric velocities distribution are compared to the predictions of random matrix theory and numerical results.

    We present experimental and numerical studies for level statistics in incomplete spectra obtained with microwave networks simulating quantum chaotic graphs with broken time reversal symmetry. We demonstrate that, if resonance frequencies are randomly removed from the spectra, the experimental results for the nearest-neighbor spacing distribution, the spectral rigidity and the average power spectrum are in good agreement with theoretical predictions for incomplete sequences of levels of systems with broken time reversal symmetry.

    X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and powder X-ray diffraction studies of diluted magnetic semiconducting alloys Zn_{1-x}Co_{x}S, in the composition range 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.18, were performed. The analysis of XPS spectra has shown that admixture of Co into ZnS lattice does not affect the shape and position of Zn 2p core level, whereas certain modification of the S 2p peak shape was observed. The detected binding energy of Co indicated similarity between Co-S and Co-O bond structure. Significant contributions of Co 3d^{7} electrons to the valence band density of states were revealed.

    Polarization-dependent X-ray absorption spectroscopy was used to study the local microstructure of Ge layers buried in silicon. The layers with thickness from 6 to 20 monolayers of Ge were grown by molecular beam epitaxy on Si substrate and were covered by Si (20 nm). To investigate the morphology of grown structures, X-ray absorption near edge structure and extended X-ray absorption fine structure analysis of the Ge K-edge was done. The performed qualitative analysis proves that X-ray absorption spectra are very sensitive to the local order in the formed structures and are sources of unique information about morphology of the buried Ge layers. Using these techniques we were able to observe the changes in atomic order around the Ge atoms in investigated buried layers and compare the formed atomic order with that in crystalline Ge. A substantial increase in intensity, broadening and chemical shift of the X-ray absorption near edge structure spectrum for 8 ML were observed. It can be related to the increase in density of electron states caused by increase in the localization of the states due to potential appearing at the Ge island boundaries and indicated the formation of quantum dots. The observed in-plane modulations of radial distribution and out-of-plane for different layers were discussed.
