    In dem Beitrag wird das an Ehe- und Familie exemplifizierte Bild der Gesellschaft im Roman "Alles über Sally" von Arno Geiger unter Einbeziehung der soziologischen Kategorie ʻNeue Bürgerlichkeit’ analysiert. Diese Kategorie dient der Beschreibung von neokonservativen Tendenzen in den Haltungen der Europäer an der Wende vom 20. zum 21. Jahrhundert. In der neuesten Forschung wird auf eine neue Qualität der bürgerlichen Kultur hingewiesen. Diese wird als eine Koinzidenz des seit drei Jahrzehnten andauernden Individualisierungsprozesses mit Werten, die traditionell als bürgerlich gelten, definiert. Die in der vorgenommenen Romananalyse angesprochene Frage der Frauenemanzipation wird als Ausgangs- und Bezugspunkt des modernen Verbürgerlichungs- und Sozialisationsprozesses betrachtet.
    The picture of a society in "Alles über Sally", Arno Geiger’s novel, presented from the perspective of a contemporary family and marriage, has been submitted to the analysis whose aim was to find any possible traces referring to “ a new bourgeois class”. This category can be used to describe neoconservative trends in the attitudes of the citizens of Europe on the verge of 20th and 19th centuries. Contemporary researchers regard the coincidence of the process of individualisation and traditional middle class values that lasting for the last three years to be a new quality of culture. The analysis of the novel focuses on the theme of women’s emancipation as both the starting point and as a reference point for the contemporary model of socialization.
    Obraz społeczeństwa przedstawiony w powieści Arno Geigera "Wszystko o Sally" ("Alles über Sally"), ukazany przez pryzmat współczesnej rodziny i małżeństwa, poddany został analizie pod kątem opisywanej przez socjologów ʻnowej mieszczańskości’. Kategoria ta służy opisowi neokonserwatywnych trendów w postawach Europejczyków schyłku XX i początku XXI wieku. Współcześni badacze za nową jakość kultury miesz­czańskiej uważają koincydencję, trwającego od trzech dziesięcioleci, procesu indywidu­alizacji i tradycyjnych wartości mieszczańskich. W analizie powieści wyeksponowany został temat emancypacji kobiet zarówno jako punkt wyjścia, jak i punkt odniesienia dla współczesnego modelu socjalizacji.

Krótkie krytyczne odniesienia do zamieszczonych w tomie tekstów pozwalają na rozpoznanie kluczowych za-gadnień i towarzyszących im kontekstów, będąc w założeniu wskazówką do lektury całego, niezwykle interesującego projektu.
    The review article presents and discusses the volume Tabuzonen und Tabubrüche in der Deutschschweizer Literatur published in 2020 by the Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht pu-blishing house, with the financial support of Jan Michalski Fondation and the University of Szczecin, edited by Dorota Sośnicka, devoted to contemporary phenomena of Swiss literature, literary images of taboo and attempts to break taboos. Short critical references to the texts included in the volume make it possible to identify key issues and the accompanying contexts, and are intended to be a guide to reading the entire, extremely interesting project.
    Der Übersichtsartikel präsentiert und diskutiert den 2020 vom Verlag Vanden-hoeck & Ruprecht mit finanzieller Unterstützung der Jan Michalski Fondation und der Uni-versität Szczecin von Dorota Sośnicka herausgegebenen Band Tabuzonen und Tabubrüche in der Deu-tschschweizer Literatur, der sich den zeitgenössischen Phänomenen der Schweizer Literatur, literarischen Tabubildern und Versuchen, Tabus zu brechen, widmet. Kurze kriti-sche Verweise auf die im Band enthaltenen Texte ermöglichen die Identifizierung von Schlüs-selthemen und den damit verbundenen Kontexten und sollen als Leitfaden für die Lektüre des gesamten, äußerst interessanten Projekts dienen.

    Szkic poświęcony polsko-niemieckiej aktorce i pisarce Eleonorze Kalkowskiej jest przyczynkiem do szerszej recepcji jej twórczości w Polsce. Autorka podejmuje próbę uporządkowania dotychczasowego stanu badań w Niemczech i w Polsce. Następnie wskazuje na rozwój artystyczny Kalkowskiej: od poezji miłosnej (Die Oktave, 1912) przez lirykę antywojenną (Der Rauch des Opfers, 1916) aż po dramat społeczny okresu międzywojennego (Josef, Zeitungsnotitzen, 1932), którego jest wybitną przedstawicielką. Podkreślona zostaje ponadnarodowa wartość pisarstwa tworzącej po niemiecku Kalkowskiej, którego istotą pozostaje idea sprawiedliwości społecznej i obrona człowieczeństwa jednocześnie z pozycji humanistycznych, chrześcijańskich i feministycznych.
    The study devoted to the forgotten Polish-German actress and writer, Eleonora Kalkowska, is a contribution to the reception of her works. The author makes an attempt to order the current state of the research in both Germany and Poland. Consequently, she depicts Kalkowska’s artistic development: from love poetry (Die Oktave, 1912), through anti-war lyrics (Der Rauch des Opfers, 1916), up to social drama of the in-between-the-wars period (Josef, Zeitungsnotitzen, 1932), of which Kalkowska is an eminent representative. Transnational quality of her works has been noticed here, whose most important idea is social justice and defense of humanity. The uniqueness of her writing is characterized by the form and manner of realizing her artistic mission, both from a humanistic, Christian and woman’s perspective.

    Mit dem Roman Viktor hilft (2018) bestätigt Vladimir Vertlib mehrfach seine literarische Verortung: sein Meta-Narrativ bleibt nach wie vor eine kulturanthropologisch fokussierte Migrations-erfahrung. Diese impliziert eine punktuelle Erfahrung der Zeitgenossenschaft und der Zeugenschaft und in eben diesem Zusammenhang wird untersucht, wie sich die Erzählinstanz im Text selbst- und fremdpositioniert, wozu das sozio-linguistische Konzept der Positionierung von Wendy Hollowey wichtige Impulse liefert (Hollowey 1984). Bei der Annahme des autobiographischen Ansatzes des Romans wird am Beispiel von Viktor Levin als Alter Ego Vertlibs die Positionierung eines hybriden Subjekts in Literatur und Leben eruiert, gemäß der These: Aufgrund der Selbst- und Fremdpositionierung der Erzählinstanz im Roman Viktor hilft ist Vladimir Vertlib als Autor mit einem „hybriden- kulturellen Hintergrund“ (Previsič 2012: 50) und damit als ein exophoner Autor im „Dritten Raum“ (Bhabha 1994/2000) zu verorten.
    By his novel Viktor hilft (2018), Vladimir Vertlib definitely confirms his place in literature: his meta-narrative invariably constitutes the experience of migration perceived in cultural and anthropological way. It implies a specific, individual experience of the presence and giving the testimony. In this context, it is essential to examine, making use of Wendy Hollowey’s socio-linguistic concept of positioning (Hollowey 1984), how the narrator presents himself and the others in the text. Assuming that the book has some autobiographical features, the Viktor Levin’s character is being analysed as Viktor Vertlib’s alter ego in order to examine how the hybrid like subject places himself and the others in the literature and life. The analysis of Viktor hilft is carried out as a narrator’s selfpresentation and presentation of other characters, which allows you to confirm the thesis that the place of Vladimir Vertlib as a writer with “hybrid culture experience” (Previsič 2012: 50) and as an exophonic writer is the “Third Space” (Bhabha 1994/2000).

    The paper is dedicated to the Polish reception of the works of an eminent West German writer, Gabriele Wohmann, who died in 2015 and has been acknowledged by the literary critics to be a master of short prose. In view of only few translations of her works into Polish, the reception of Wohmann in the critical circulation is limited. She is recognisable in the Polish academic discourse, but it is limited to the German Studies. Wohmann, as an excellent observer of the society in the times of economic growth, in her stories criticising “bourgeois” attitudes of her fellow citizens and dealing with the universal themes of love, fear, loneliness, exclusion, death, comes back implicite (parallel transfer) in Marcin Kołodziejczyk’s text, Dysforia.Przypadki mieszczan polskich (2015). According to the accept-ed thesis, the Polish society in its attitudes and choices related to the rising of a middle class and new bourgeois class after 1989 resembles the West German society so critically de-scribed by the German author thirty and forty years ago.
    Der Aufsatz hat die polnische Rezeption der bedeutenden westdeutschen Schriftstellerin Gabriele Wohmann, einer Meisterin der Kurzprosa, die 2015 verstorben ist, zum Thema. Da nur wenige Werke Wohmanns ins Polnische übersetzt wurden, ist die Resonanz der polnischen Kritik gering. Zugleich ist die Autorin im polnischen akademischen Diskurs stets präsent, wobei sie sich diese Rezeption auf die Germanistik beschränkt. Als herausragende Beobachterin der deutschen Gesellschaft der Wirtschaftswunder-Ära, die in ihren Kurzge-schichten und Erzählungen die „Bürgerlichkeit“ der Mitbürger sowie universelle Themen wie Liebe, Angst, Einsamkeit, Ausgrenzung oder Tod thematisiert, kehrt Wohmann implizit im Text von Marcin Kołodziejczyk Dysforia. Przypadki mieszczan polskich (2015) zurück. Der These des Aufsatzes gemäß erinnern die Haltungen und Entscheidungen der von Kołodziejczyk porträtierten polnischen Gesellschaft, die mit der erst entstehenden Mittel-schicht und der neuen Bürgerlichkeit verbunden sind, an die Erscheinungen, die Gabriele Wohmann vor dreißig und vierzig Jahren kritisiert hat.
    Przedmiotem artykułu jest polska recepcja twórczości zmarłej w 2015 roku wybitnej pisarki zachodnioniemieckiej Gabriele Wohmann, uznawanej przez krytykę literacką za mistrzynię krótkiej prozy oraz znakomitą obserwatorkę społeczeństwa doby wzrostu gospodarczego, która w swych opowiadaniach krytykuje „mieszczańskość” współobywateli i porusza uniwersalne tematy miłości, lęku, samotności, wykluczenia i śmierci. Wobec nielicznych tłumaczeń jej utworów na język polski recepcja Wohmann w obiegu krytycznym jest ograniczona, zauważalna jest natomiast w polskim dyskursie akademickim, lecz ogranicza się do germanistyki. Wohmann powraca jednak implicite (transfer równoległy) w tomie prozatorskim Marcina Kołodziejczyka Dysforia. Przypadki mieszczan polskich (2015). Zgodnie z tezą przyjętą w artykule, społeczeństwo polskie po 1989 przypomina w swych postawach i wyborach, które związane są z rodzącą się w Polsce klasą średnią i nowym mieszczaństwem, krytycznie opisywane przez niemiecką autorkę społeczeństwo zachodnionie-mieckie trzydzieści i czterdzieści lat wcześniej.

    Przedmiotem artykułu jest recepcja twórczości Ericha Hackla w krajach niemieckiego obszaru językowego i w Polsce w ujęciu kontrastywnym. Autorka przedstawia sylwetkę pisarza i jego utwory z uwzględnieniem kwestii gatunkowych (dokumentaryzm) i problemowych (wpływ reżimów totalitarnych na losy jednostki), a następnie odnosi się do różnych obiegów recepcji w Polsce i w krajach niemieckiego obszaru językowego. W krajach niemieckojęzycznych twórczość Hackla jest obecna w obiegu akademickim i krytycznym, a przede wszystkim w obiegu popularnym i w mediach cyfrowych, czego dowodem są liczne wpisy na blogach literackich, dyskusje na forach i strony internetowe poświęcone pisarzowi. W Polsce znane są tylko dwa opowiadania pisarza: Pożegnanie z Sydonią i Wesele w Auschwitz, dlatego recepcja twórczości pisarza ogranicza się głównie do tych utworów. Jednocześnie w polskim obiegu akademickim omawiana jest cała jego twórczość. To, co łączy recepcję twórczości Ericha Hackla w Polsce i krajach niemieckojęzycznych, to włączenie jego utworów do programów edukacyjnych na rzecz tolerancji i prawdy historycznej.
    The paper researches the reception of the works of Erich Hackl in the German language speaking countries and in Poland in the contrastive aspect. The author presents the author and his works along with the genre (documentarism) and problem (influence of the totalitarian regimes on an individual) issues , then it refers to various circulations of reception in Po-land and German speaking countries. In German speaking countries, Hackl’s works are pre-sent in academic and critical circulation and, first of all, in the popular one, which is con-firmed by numerous entries at literary blogs, discussions at forums and Internet pages de-voted to the writer. There are only two short stories by the writer that are well-known in Po-land – these are, Farewell to Sydonia and Wedding in Auschwitz, that is why the reception of the writer’s works is limited mainly to these works.. At the same time, all his works are being discussed in the Polish academic circulation. What connects the reception of Hackl’s works in Poland and the German language speaking countries is the inclusion of his works into the educational programmes for the sake of tolerance and historical truth.
    Das Thema des Aufsatzes ist die Rezeption der Werke von Erich Hackl im deutschsprachigen Raum und in Polen, dargestellt aus kontrastiver Sicht. Die Verfasserin erinnert an die Gestalt des Autors und an sein literarisches Schaffen im Hinblick auf dessen Gehalt (Einfluss der totalitären Regime auf die Schicksale der Einzelmenschen) und auf die Gattungsfragen (Dokumentarismus), und setzt sich anschliessend mit verschiedenen Rezeptionswegen dieser Literatur in den Ländern des deutschsprachigen Raums und in Polen aus. In Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz wird Hackls Werk Gegenstand akademischer und kritischer Lektüre, vor allem wird sein Schaffen aber von den Lesern diskutiert. Davon zeugen zahlreiche Eintragungen auf den Leseblogs und auf den Leserforen. In Polen sind nur zwei Erzählungen des Autors bekannt Der Abschied von Sydonie, mit der sein Name in der Literaturwelt zum Begriff wurde, und Die Hochzeit von Auschwitz. Auf diese zwei beschränken sich die polnischen Besprechungen, von denen die meisten im Internet erscheinen. Gleichzeitig umfaßt die akademische Rezeption das ganze Werk des Schriftstellers. Der Rezeption Hackls im deutschsprachigen Raum und in Polen ist Präsenz seiner Werke in den Unterrichtsprogrammen und in Projekten zum Thema Toleranz und historische Wahrheit gemeinsam.

    Die Kulturantrhopologie inspirierte die Literaturwissenschaftler zu einem Verständnis der literarischen Texte als Texte der Kultur, die den Menschen in einem Netzwerk sozialer Beziehungen und täglicher Handlungen vor dem Hintergrund der zivilisatorischen Leistungen der jeweiligen Epoche zeigen. In dem Aufsatz wird die kulturanthropologische Perspektive bei der Analyse und Interpretation des Romans „Wir Erben“ (2014) der österreichischen Autorin Angelika Reitzer eingesetzt. Die auf dem Leben beider Protagonistinnen, Marianne und Siri, basierende Untersuchung macht die Konstruktion des Alltags im Roman sichtbar (unter Einbeziehung des sozialen und des materiellen Raumes) und bestätigt seinen Referenzcharakter der Realität gegenüber. Entsprechend der anthropologischen Literaturwissenschaft (Doris Bachmann-Medick, Ewa Kosowska) fungiert der literarische Text als eine Erkenntnisquelle und liefert Informationen sowohl über die Welt der literarischen Figuren als auch der Zeitgenossen. So gelesen, hilft der Roman „Wir Erben“ dem modernen Leser, seine Gegenwart besser zu verstehen.
    Anthropology of culture inspired the literature researchers to analyse and interpret the literary culture texts that present a man in the network of social connection and everyday activities on the background of the achievements of civilisation of a given period of time. The prospect of anthropology of culture gave way to an analysis and interpretation of the novel Wir Erben (2014) by an Austrian novelist, Angelica Reitzer. The analysis referring to the life of the protagonists, Marianne and Siri, presents the construction of the everyday procedures in the novel ( including the factors such as social and material space), indicating its referential character towards the reality. According to the provisions of the anthropology of culture (Ewa Kosowska) and anthropological and literary studies (Doris Bachmann-Medick), a literary text constitutes the source of the knowledge about the world of not only the literary characters, but also the one of the readers. The novel Wir Erben, read according to that key, allows contemporary readers to understand their own reality.
    Antropologia kultury zainspirowała literaturoznawców do analizy i interpretacji tekstów literackich jako tekstów kultury, ukazujących człowieka w sieci społecznych powiązań i codziennych działań na tle osiągnięć cywilizacyjnych opisywanego okresu. Perspektywa antropologii kulturowej posłużyła w artykule do analizy i interpretacji powieści „Wir Erben” (2014) austriackiej pisarki Angeliki Reitzer. Analiza odwołująca się do życia bohaterek Marianne i Siri unaocznia konstrukcję codzienności w utworze (z uwzględnieniem czynników takich jak przestrzeń społeczna i materialna), wskazując na jej referencyjny charakter wobec rzeczywistości. Zgodnie z założeniami antropologii literatury (Ewa Kosowska) i literaturoznawstwa antropologicznego (Doris Bachmann-Medick) tekst literacki jest źródłem wiedzy o świecie nie tylko bohaterów literackich, ale i czytelników. Powieść „Wir Erben” czytana według tego klucza pozwala współczesnemu odbiorcy na zrozumienie własnej rzeczywistości.

    Both the occasion of Barbara Frischmuth's seventy-fifth birthday and that of her reading in Poland have inspired an examination of the cofounder of the Grazer group's presence and reception in the Germanspeaking world with that of her presence and reception in Poland. While literature by Frischmuth is enormously popular in the Germanspeaking world and her position on the Austrian cultural scene is of the first rank, there is scarce knowledge, popularity or regard for either her works or her in Poland. Only a couple of short texts and just two out of more than twenty novels have been translated into Polish. Polish academic interest seems to be limited to centers in Wrocław and Częstochowa. Since Barbara Frischmuth questions gender relations and interculturalism, her works deserve both greater attention and a more active publishing policy in Poland.
    Die Untersuchung der Präsenz und der Aufnahme der Werke von Barbara Frischmuth, einer der MitbegründerInnen der Grazer Gruppe, im deutschsprachigen Raum und in Polen wurde durch den 75. Geburtstag der Autorin und ihre Lesereise in Polen angeregt. Angesichts der enormen Frequenz der Literatur von und über Frischmuth im deutschen Sprachraum und ihrem Rang in der Kulturszene Österreichs, ist die Kenntnis und Popularität ihrer Werke in Polen verhältnismäßig bescheiden. Es wurden nur zwei von insgesamt über 20 Romanen und zwei kurze Prosatexte ins Polnische übersetzt. Das Interesse seitens der polnischen Leser beschränkt sich auf wenige akademische Zentren (Wrocław, Częstochowa). Da Barbara Frischmuth in ihrem Schaffen Fragen der Geschlechterbeziehungen und der heute besonders aktuellen Interkulturalität aufnimmt, verdient ihr Schaffen mehr Aufmerksamkeit und eine aktive Verlagspolitik.
    Impulsem dla zbadania obecności i recepcji utworów Barbary Frischmuth, jednej ze współzałożycieli Grazer Gruppe, w krajach niemieckiego obszaru językowego i w Polsce, był jubileusz 75. urodzin pisarki i jej wizyta autorska w Polsce. Z perspektywy ogromnej frekwencji twórczości Frischmuth i ilości literatury przedmiotowej na temat jej dzieł w krajach niemieckojęzycznych oraz znaczenia pisarki dla współczesnej kultury austriackiej znajomość jej utworów w Polsce jest stosunkowo skromna. Przetłumaczono zaledwie dwie z ponad 20 powieści, ponadto dwa krótkie teksty prozą. Zainteresowanie ze strony polskich badaczy ogranicza się do kilku centrów akademickich (Wrocław, Poznań, Opole, Częstochowa). Ze względu na aktualność i wagę poruszanej przez Frischmuth problematyki (relacje płci i interkulturowość) jej twórczość zasługuje na większe zainteresowanie i aktywniejszą politykę wydawniczą w Polsce.

    Celem artykułu jest przywołanie znaczeń (semantycznych, kulturowych) implikowanych słowem „tęsknota” – w perspektywie diachronicznej i synchronicznej. Wychodząc od pierwotnych znaczeń rzeczownika „tęsknota” w prasłowiańszczyźnie, wskazano, że tęsknota jako pojęcie filozoficzne ukonstytuowało się dopiero w tradycji judaistyczno-chrześcijańskiej, a jej podstawą było wyobrażenie o niedoskonałości conditio humana i wynikające z niej dążeniu do osiągnięcia ideału (Stwórcy). Następnie powołując się na typologię nostalgii zaproponowanej przez rosyjsko-amerykańską teoretyczkę kultury Svetlanę Boym, rozważono dwa typy tęsknoty (restoratywna i refleksyjna), a kryterium ich wydzielenia stanowiła oś czasu: przeszłość – przyszłość. Badaczki przekonują, że współcześnie mamy do czynienia ze wszechobecnością tęsknoty, co wynika – z jednej strony – z niepokojącej sytuacji na świecie (np. wojna w Ukrainie), a z drugiej strony – z ogólnej tendencji współczesnego świata, tj. niemożności osiągnięcia stanu spełnienia. Twórcza refleksja współczesnych artystów, pisarek i pisarzy nad doświadczaną i/lub antycypowaną utratą ostatecznie potwierdza kulturotwórczy potencjał pojęcia tęsknoty.
    The aim of this paper is to shed light on the (semantic, cultural) meanings implied by the word "longing" in a diachronic and synchronic perspective. Starting from the original meanings of the noun "longing" in Proto-Slavic, the authors aim to demonstrate that longing as a philosophical concept was first constituted in the Judeo-Christian tradition and that its basis was the idea of the imperfection of the human condition and the consequent striving for the ideal. With reference to the typology of nostalgia proposed by the Russian-American cultural theorist Svetlana Boym, two types of longing (restorative and reflexive) are distin-guished, the criterion for their separation being localisation of the object of longing on the time axis: past-future. The researchers argue that today we are dealing with an omnipresent longing, which on the one hand is due to the worrying situation in the world (e.g. the war in Ukraine) and, on the other hand, to the general tendency of today's world, i.e. the impossibility of reaching a state of fulfilment. The creative reflection of contemporary writers on experienced and/or expected loss ultimately confirms the cultural potential of the concept of longing.
    Ziel des Beitrags ist es, die (semantischen, kulturellen) Bedeutungen, die das Wort „Sehnsucht“ impliziert, in einer diachronen und synchronen Perspektive zu beleuchten. Ausgehend von den ursprünglichen Bedeutungen des Substantivs „Sehnsucht“ im Urslawischen wird aufgezeigt, dass die Sehnsucht als philosophisches Konzept erst in der jüdisch-christli-chen Tradition konstituiert wurde und dass ihr die Idee der Unvollkommenheit der conditio humana und das daraus folgende Streben nach dem Ideal zugrunde lag. Unter Bezugnahme auf die von der russisch-amerikanischen Kulturtheoretikerin Svetlana Boym vorgeschlagene Typologie der Nostalgie werden zwei Arten von Sehnsucht (restorative und reflective) unterschieden, wobei das Kriterium für ihre Trennung Lokalisierung des Sehnsuchtsobjektes auf der Zeitachse ist: Vergangenheit-Zukunft. Die Forscherinnen argumentieren, dass wir es heute mit einer allgegenwärtigen Sehnsucht zu tun haben, die einerseits auf die besorgniserregende Situation in der Welt (z. B. der Krieg in der Ukraine) und andererseits auf die allgemeine Tendenz der heutigen Welt zurückzuführen ist, d.h. die Unmöglichkeit, einen Zustand der Erfüllung zu erreichen. Die kreative Reflexion zeitgenössischer SchriftstellerInnen über erlebten und/oder zu erwartenden Verlust bestätigt letztlich das kulturelle Potenzial des Begriffs der Sehnsucht.

    Opis:
    Town twinning in Europe is a unique example of civic activity for the fostering of links between nations. Since the 1950s, the experience gained by the French, German and British communities has contributed to the rapid development of this form of international cooperation also in Poland, after its accession to the European Union (2004).The article shows, on the example of cooperation between the cities of Częstochowa and Pforzheim, how valuable and inspiring are the cultural activities undertaken by the city dwellers regardless of their age and profession. This cooperation demonstrates that the shared experience of culture by partner communities, especially by Poles and Germans, builds a lasting foundation for the close neighbourly relations.
