Efficient evaluation of antimony ores, which are on the critical raw materials list due to the supply risk by the European Union, is an important necessity. In this context, ore preparation and enrichment processes are very important during the process from ore to metal. Especially for sulfide antimony ores, the most common beneficiation method is flotation. Therefore, antimony ore consisting of stibnite mineral obtained from Tokat-Turkey region was used in this study. Due to the low antimony (5.06%Sb) and the high Arsenic (1.38%As) content, it is an important requirement to increase the Sb content of this ore by flotation, as well as to reduce the As content to certain levels. Stibnite as an antimony mineral and arsenopyrite as arsenic mineral, are minerals that have a sulphurous structure in mineralization and their flotation properties are quite close to each other. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed to selectively separate the bulk concentrate taken from rougher flotation by cleaning steps. A bulk sulfur concentrate with 24.54% Sb and 3.69% As content obtained as a result of the rougher flotation was obtained with a recovery of 98.9%. This product was subjected to 6 stages of cleaning flotation and a concentrate with a content of 63.8% Sb and 0.31% As was produced with an antimony recovery of 83% Sb.

Research background: Effects of monetary and fiscal policy on output growth has been one of the major topics that economists have been investigating. Monetary and fiscal policies are tools for economists and policymakers to correctly direct the economy and facilitate the growth and development of the country. Accordingly, it is critically important for policy-makers in the area of economy to study the efficiency and the effectiveness of such policies. But, so far, there has been no generally accepted evidence suggesting the effectiveness of either the policy in Turkey or around the world. Instead, the dominance of either policy is subject to a change period to period and country to country. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this study is to analyze the growth effectiveness of fiscal and monetary policies and then determine which of these two policies is more powerful in promoting economic growth in Turkey over the period 1998 and 2016. Methods: To investigate the growth effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policies, we use some of the time series econometric techniques, such as ARDL Bounds testing, structural break unit root tests and Granger causality tests. Findings & Value added: Monetary policy variable is creating only short-run effects on growth; but, it's not causing any Granger causality on it. On the other hand, fiscal policy variable has a long-run significant effect and causing to growth. Thus, the fiscal policy seems to be more effective than monetary policy during examination period, implying the rethinking the implementation of both policies in Turkey. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first attempt to investigate the relative effectiveness of economic policies on growth in Turkey in terms of both methods used and period chosen.

The design of the grinding circuits and the control of the transferring load in the ore preparation plants are of great importance from a technical and economic point of view. The importance of the circulating load for grinding process is well known and stated in the literature. However, there are not many studies on the effect on the following processes. In this study, the effect of the circulating load on both the grinding capacity and the subsequent flotation process was investigated at laboratory scale. Copper ore was used in the experiments. The circulating load was adjusted by changing the residence time of the material in the mill. Then, flotation experiments were carried out with the materials obtained at different circuit loads. The results showed that the grinding capacity can be increased up to 180% by optimizing the circulating load and it will positively affect the flotation performance. It was observed that a concentrate with the highest recovery for the same Cu grade was obtained with CLR of 150 % when compared to flotation recoveries through various CLRs. It is suggested that the circulating load should not be evaluated only in terms of the grinding process, but also the subsequent processes should be considered. Future studies in this area may contribute to industrial applications.

Satellite-based positioning, which started being developed in the mid-1960s for military purposes, is now used in almost every area. For the studies single and/or double frequency receivers are used. The cost of a receiver and antenna couple that have capable of high coordinate accuracies ranges from $3000 to $15000. With the production of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) receivers, the cost of satellite-based location determination decreases to approximately one in 10 for the civilian user compared to the operations performed with geodetic receivers and antennas. However, although these receivers collect data in multi-Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and frequencies, the accuracy of the coordinate values estimated is not as high as geodetic receivers and antennas. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an accuracy study to obtain information about which studies can be used in. In this study, measurements were made at the UZEL point located on the roof of the Yıldız Technical University Geomatics Engineering Department by using the ZED-F9P-02B OEM multi GNSS receiver and ANN-MB L1/L2 multi-band GNSS patch antenna. The performance of the test results has been examined by comparing the results from CSRS(Canadian Spatial Reference System)-PPP with the coordinates of the UZEL point. As a result of the comparison, the difference between the coordinate determined with collected 3.5 hr data and the coordinates of the UZEL point has been determined as – 1.4 cm, 2.8 cm, and 9.3 cm in the East, North, and Height directions, respectively.
