Opis:
In a global competition systemic improvement, reflecting upon systems, structures, organization, processes, methods and tools applied in an organization becomes crucial precondition of success. There is an urgent need for innovation and change, so learning becomes indispensible, not only on a personal level but also on an organizational level. Higher education institution (HEI), which mission is to create and generate knowledge, seems to be a perfect place to implement a concept of a learning organization. In the paper the analysis of the concept of organisational learning and learning organisation is presented with an attempt to indicate HEIs which of the ideas to follow. The author considers features within higher education institutions that encourage and hinder learning and presents the specific conditions of the application of the concept in the higher education setting.

Opis:
In the last two decades, fractional calculus has become a subject of great interest in various areas of physics, biology, economics and other sciences. The idea of such a generalization was mentioned by Leibniz and L'Hospital. Fractional calculus has been found to be a very useful tool for modeling linear systems. In this paper, a method for computation of a set of a minimal positive realization of a given transfer function of linear fractional continuous-time descriptor systems has been presented. The proposed method is based on digraph theory. Also, two cases of a possible input-output digraph structure are investigated and discussed. It should be noted that a digraph mask is introduced and used for the first time to solve a minimal positive realization problem. For the presented method, an algorithm was also constructed. The proposed solution allows minimal digraph construction for any one-dimensional fractional positive system. The proposed method is discussed and illustrated in detail with some numerical examples.

System pozycjonowania maszyn rolniczych umożliwia przeprowadzenie zabiegów agrotechnicznych przy zachowaniu optymalnych warunków uwzględniających takie czynniki jak: stan łanu, żyzność i wilgotność gleby itp. W polskim rolnictwie występuje szereg negatywnych czynników (barier) utrudniających szybkie upowszechnienia systemu nawigacji satelitarnej. W pracy przedstawiono ideę systemu DGPS w polskim rolnictwie na tle rolnictwa precyzyjnego USA i krajów UE.
The system of positioning of agricultural machines makes the performing of field operations in optimal conditions possible, considering such factors as crop density, soil fertility and moisture content etc. Polish agriculture faces a number of barriers making the prompt spreading of positioning by satellite difficult. The paper presents the concept of the DGPS in polish agriculture, compared with precision farming in the USA and EU.

Opis:
Benchmarking is a management tool successfully used by public and private sector managers and holding its important position in a management toolbox throughout the years. The essence of benchmarking is learning from others and creative adaptation of good practices. It can involve both quantitative and qualitative comparisons which enable not only to learn about the outcomes of the activity but also about the ways these results had been achieved. In the paper the possibility of applying benchmarking in omni-channel logistics is presented. The rising expectations of customers highlighting the convenience of purchase as one of the most important factors determining purchase, forces retailers to change their business strategies. One of the most important factor creating product value is flexible delivery. Therefore this aspect was chosen as an example field for a proposed reference benchmarking methodology.
