    The aim of the article is to present the challenges posed to the visual documentation of city cultures by the new social phenomena of crowdsourcing and crowdfunding, which create new forms of participation in shaping urban culture and the urban community. In order to discuss the new phenomena some examples will be shown. A fake subway map, a crowdmap or an amateur science project data visualization show how visual tools can be used in the crowdsourcing and crowdfunding models of action as a collaborative project.

    Aim. This article seeks to show that Rembrandt is the most profound, comprehensive and reliable interpreter – not an illustrator – of the Old Testament: "His ability… makes him one of the great visual interpreters of Scripture… a theologian not by academic degree but in his very nature” (Parker, 1994, p. 28). It is the purpose of this article to demonstrate the acute difference between Rembrandt’s depictions of Old Testament events and those by other artists who merely converted the overtly stated text in the Holy Bible into the visual medium. Methods. The case for claiming that Rembrandt interpreted rather than merely depicted the Old Testament will be made by analysing five of his works and the comparison to others portraying the same events. Rembrandt’s unique methods and techniques such as adding or omitting certain figures or details, using chiaroscuro extensively and deviating from expected iconography will be demonstrated as he unearths the core significance of each event.   Results. This article manifests how Rembrandt whose production of artwork relating to Old Testament scenes was prolific did not merely depict Old Testament scenes but rather interpreted the deeper, psychological meanings of the subjects involved and events portrayed, exhibiting a profound understanding of the messages in the original Hebrew text. Conclusion.  The article unfolds Rembrandt’s significant artistic accomplishments surpassing those who preceded or succeeded him. It reveals the different means he used in each painting expressing its high point according to Old Testament interpretation rather than through the prism of the New Testament.

    Dawniej robienie zdjęć było czymś wyjątkowym, specyfika tego typu dokumentacji pozwalała na zatrzymanie czasu, ochraniała ludzi od zapomnienia. Dzięki niej możemy zobaczyć, jak wyglądali ludzie, jak się ubierali, jakie przedmioty były dla nich ważne, jaką mieli budowę ciała, status społeczny itp. Na ważność fotografii wskazują sposób pozowania bądź fakt, że zabierano ją ze sobą w podróż lub na wygnanie.
    In the past, taking photos was something special, the specificity of this type of documentation made it possible to stop time and protect people from oblivion. Thanks to it, we can see what people used to look like, how they dressed, what objects were important to them, what was their physique, social status etc. The importance of the photography is indicated by the way in which they posed for the camera or the fact that photos were taken with them on a journey or exile.

    Artykuł poświęcono zbiorom audiowizualnym, które odzwierciedlają życie i działalność ludności rodzimej województwa koszalińskiego, a które powstały w latach 1957–1975. Zbiory te, przechowywane w taśmotece Rozgłośni Polskiego Radia w Koszalinie, stanowią interesujący materiał badawczy, niepozbawiony jednakże akcentów propagandowych. Województwo koszalińskie do połowy lat siedemdziesiątych XX wieku objęte było zasięgiem Rozgłośni Polskiego Radia w Koszalinie, toteż rejestracja materiału dźwiękowego, jego obróbka (montaż) i emisja odbywała się w ramach jednej jednostki administracyjnej i właściwości terytorialnej rozgłośni, na wzór pozostałych 16 rozgłośni Polskiego Radia. Zaakcentowano rolę Polskiego Radia w kształtowaniu tożsamości regionalnej wschodniej części Pomorza Zachodniego, jak i powiązania tego obszaru z pozostałymi ziemiami polskimi. W artykule dokonano przeglądu zawartości taśm magnetycznych wraz z danymi technicznymi oraz osobami odpowiedzialnymi za produkcję materiału dźwiękowego oraz jego montaż.
    The article is devoted to the audio-visual collections created in the years 1957–1975 which reflect the life and activities of the native populace of Koszalin voivodeship. The collections, stored in the tape archives of the Polish Radio Broadcast Centre in Koszalin, constitute for interesting research material, although not free of propaganda. Koszalin voivodeship was, until the second half of the 1970s, within the range of the Polish Radio Broadcast Centre in Koszalin, thus the recording of the audio material, as well as processing and broadcasting were all conducted within a single administrative unit and territorial property of the broadcast centre, as it was in the case of the other 16 broadcast centres of the Polish Radio. The paper emphasises on the role of the Polish Radio in creating the regional identity of the eastern part of West Pomerania, as well as the relations of this region with the rest of the Polish territories. The article provides an overview of the contents of the magnetic tapes along with technical data and the persons responsible for the production and processing of the audio material.

    Prowadzenie oględzin popożarowych wymaga interdyscyplinarnej wiedzy z chemii, fizyki, elektrotechniki, teorii pożarów, w tym również kryminalistyki. Istotnym zagadnieniem jest zabezpieczania śladów i wytypowanie technik analizy w celu ustalenia przyczyn powstania zdarzenia. Szczególne istotne jest zebranie dokumentacji uznawanej za dowód w sprawie. Obecnie brakuje jednoznacznych zasad wprowadzania i weryfikowania dowodów naukowych w postępowaniu sądowym, w szczególności w zakresie metodyki badań oraz udokumentowania miejsca pogorzeliska. W artykule przedstawiono innowacyjne techniki w postaci szkiców i panoram miejsca powstania pożaru, które można wykorzystać niezależnie od wstępnego rozpoznania. Przeprowadzone wizualizacje zdarzeń popożarowych za pomocą systemu eSURV posiadają wartość udokumentowanego dowodu w sprawie o pożary i ujawnienie jego sprawcy. Robienie szkiców metrycznych w sposób profesjonalny pozwala na uniknięcie zasadniczych błędów w ustalaniu przyczyny pożaru. Wprowadzenie tych technik jako priorytetowe narzędzia wspomagające dochodzenia na pewno usprawnią proces sądowy.
    Conducting post -fire inspection requires interdisciplinary knowledge of chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, theory of fires, including the forensics. The security of traces and selecting analysis techniques to determine the causes of the incident are the issues of the particular importance, as well as collecting the documentation considered as the evidence in the case. Currently there are no clear rules for adopting and verifying forensic evidence in the court proceedings, especially in the field of research methodology and documenting the fire scar. The paper presents the innovative possibilities that allow modern science and technology to expose the perpetrators of arson and the forensic to examine the site. They are in the form of sketches and panoramas of place of fire and can be used regardless the initial diagnosis. The executed visualizations of post- fire events with the use of the eSURV system may be considered to have the value of documented evidence in cases related to fires. Execution of professional metrical sketches allows avoiding mistakes in the determination of the causes of fire. The adoption of those techniques as priority tools to assist the investigation process would certainly streamline the court proceedings.

    Opis:
    The author in the article analyses the marking of UK public transport stops on the ex ample of photographic documentation. The images were taken in two cities: London and York and the Welsh town of Betws-y-coed. e author takes a look at the network of land roads and, in particular, stops that stand out from the urban landscape. They are key elements of a complex network of interconnections developing over the centuries. Showing them in a historical perspective reveals the dynamics of change related to the development of technology, the evolution of transport models driven by the growing demand for mobility. The development, but also the standardisation of public stop signs encourages a better distribution of information and, consequently, more e¢cient travel planning, thus blending in with the cultural landscape of cities.
