Opis:
The investigation ofthe Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (L TCC) via filling process quality is presented in this paper. The goal of this paper was to propose and to validate a way of the verification whether the L TCC fabrication was conducted correctly. The work presents an application of the Design of the Experiment (DoE) methodology in such validation and discusses usefulness and drawbacks of the chosen solution. The optimized technology of via filling will be applied in the fabrication of tactile displays for blind people.

Klasyfikacja spektralna to rozwijająca się od końca poprzedniego wieku metoda analizy skupień. Metoda ta, mimo niekiedy niezbyt rozbudowanej podbudowy teoretycznej, daje bardzo dobre wyniki empiryczne zarówno na zbiorach testowych jak i na rzeczywistych zbiorach danych. Artykuł przedstawia najważniejsze kroki algorytmu klasyfikacji spektralnej, wskazuje sytuacje, w których stosowanie algorytmu daje duże lepsze rezultaty (mierzone indeksem Randa) niż inne metody analizy skupień. W zakończenie przedstawione są rekomendacje dotyczące sytuacji, w których warto stosować tą technikę klasyfikacji.

This article is about e-learning based on learning by watching videos in the Internet. At the beginning, the author briefly explains the role of public television in the education of the viewers, which is defined in the Act on Radio and Television in 1992. The next section describes the educational programs which were (before 89') and which are (after 89') available on public television. After that, the author has focused on approximate educational opportunities that result from the ability to create videos and to publish them on the web. The article presents some examples of channels available on the Internet on the YouTube: Head Squeeze, Polimaty, Edudutv, Eksperymenty Domowe. In the article's conclusion, the author briefly indicates the advantages of learning through videos published on the web.

Pielgrzymowanie do Santiago de Compostela przeżywa w ostatnich latach renesans. Pątnicy zmierzają do grobu św. Jakuba różnymi szlakami, spośród których jednym z najpopularniejszych jest Via de la Plata. W starożytności wzdłuż wyznaczonej dziś Drogi przebiegał trakt handlowy, łącząc południe z północną zachodnią częścią Półwyspu Iberyjskiego. Współcześnie, szlak rozpoczyna się Sewilli i prowadząc pielgrzymów w kierunku północnym i północno-zachodnim doprowadza go do celu wędrówki. Autor, w latach 2012 i 2013 pielgrzymując Via de la Plata, przeprowadził ankietę, której celem było zbadanie sylwetki pielgrzymów. Zgromadzone dane zostały uzupełnione ankietą internetową przeprowadzoną w 2015 roku. Wyniki badań pozwoliły na skonstruowanie trzech głównych wniosków. Po pierwsze, istnieje zależność pomiędzy wiekiem pątnika a motywami, którymi się on kieruje. Wraz z wiekiem wzrasta odsetek pielgrzymów wybierających się na szlak z powodów religijnych. Po drugie, głównym źródłem informacji o Camino dla pielgrzymów pochodzących z Hiszpanii są krewni i znajomi, natomiast zagraniczni pątnicy wiedzę o Drodze św. Jakuba czerpią najczęściej z literatury, internetu oraz od krewnych i znajomych. Po trzecie, najważniejszymi problemami napotkanymi w czasie wędrówki są warunki noclegów, dostępność kościołów i słabe oznakowanie Drogi.

Via Appia, the oldest Roman road, called „the queen of all roads” in ancient times, was built in 312 BC on the initiative of censor Appius Claudius Caecus. Its part, closest to Rome, was considered a significant and prestigious place by Romans. In the Republic influential aristocratic families erected magnificent tombs and monuments, in temples, however, their victories were reminded. Roman emperors took care of the road and thus, it was very often rebuilt. They wanted the entry to Rome from the southern side to make a monumental impression on people who were arriving in the Empire. The road was of strategic importance as it connected Rome and the main port in the east, Brundisium. It was frequently used. The proof of it is a fact that in the times of the Empire it had a stone surface. Its significance is proved by the fact that along the road, triumphal arches were erected to commemorate victories over Egypt and Partia – in this part of the city it was thoroughly justified.

This paper investigates effectiveness of sea reverberation suppression by adaptive array processing. The case of monostatic active sonar is considered. The models of multipath echo signal, reverberation and sea surface noise are presented. The model of the array steering vector averaged on medium fluctuations is used for robust adaptive beamforming in a random oceanic waveguide. Computer simulations for typical shallow water conditions are given.

If nature and cosmos are the expression of the beauty of the Creator and bring us to the threshold of a contemplative silence, artistic creation possesses its own capacity to evoke the ineffable aspects of the mystery of God. For the believer, beauty transcends the aesthetics and finds its archetype in God. The contemplation of the eternal beauty is the living source from which the Christian composers take inspiration to speak of the mystery of God. Works of sacred music inspired by the Christian faith posses an enormous potential pertinent to contemporary needs that remain unaltered by the times that pass. In an intuitive and tasteful manner, they permit participation in the great experience of faith, the meeting with God in the face of Christ in whom he uncovers the mystery of the love of God and the identity of man. With the language of beauty, Christian musicwork does not only transmit the message of the artist, but also the truth of the mystery of God meditated by a person who reads it to us, not to glorify himself but to glorify the Source. The beauty of the liturgy, an essential moment in the experience of faith and the pathway towards the adult faith, is unable to reduce itself to mere formal beauty. It is, first of all, the deep beauty of the meeting with the mystery of God. Superficiality, banality and negligence have no place in the liturgical music. They definitely do not help the believers progress on his path of faith but, above all, damage those who attend Christian celebrations. Beauty is seen as fundamental to faith and to the perception of truth. Via pulchritudinis as the way of beauty in sacred music is the finest expression of faith, hope and love.
Jeśli natura i kosmos są odblaskiem piękna Stwórcy i prowadzą nas do kontemplacji Jego wielkości, to również twórczość artystyczna ma możliwość przybliżania nas do tajemnicy Boga. Dla człowieka wierzącego piękno wykracza poza estetykę i odnajduje swój archetyp w Bogu. Kontemplacja odwiecznej piękności jest źródłem, z którego kompozytorzy chrześcijańscy czerpią natchnienie, aby ukazywać w swej twórczości misterium Boga. Inspirowane wiarą chrześcijańską dzieła muzyki sakralnej pozwalają nam w intuicyjny sposób uczestniczyć w doświadczeniu wiary, odkrywając tajemnicę miłości Boga i tożsamości człowieka. Posługując się językiem piękna, dzieła muzyczne są nie tylko nośnikami przesłania artysty, ale także prawdy o Bogu. Kompozytor, ukazując ową prawdę, nie wychwala samego siebie, ale pragnie uwielbiać Źródło Piękna. W liturgii, będącej istotnym momentem w doświadczaniu dojrzałej wiary, piękna nie można zredukować jedynie do formalnego estetyzmu. Jest to przede wszystkim głębokie piękno spotkania z tajemnicą Boga. Dlatego w muzyce liturgicznej nie ma miejsca na powierzchowność, banalność i niedbałość. Muzyka nie pomagałaby wówczas w rozwoju wiary, ale wręcz stawałaby się przeszkodą w godnym uczestniczeniu w chrześcijańskich obrzędach. Piękno stanowi zatem jedną z fundamentalnych kategorii teologicznych, pomagając wzrastać w wierze oraz dążyć do prawdy. Istotną rolę ewangelizacyjną pełni w tym kontekście muzyka sakralna, która jako via pulchritudinis stanowi wspaniały wyraz wiary, nadziei i miłości.

Przedmiotem badań jest identyfikacja i ocena podstawowych zagrożeń oraz potencjalnych skutków ekonomicznych budowy drogi szybkiego ruchu Via Carpatia w aspekcie jej wpływu na porty morskie Wschodniego Wybrzeża RP. Celem opracowania jest wskazanie, iż brak koordynacji rozwoju liniowej infrastruktury transportowej z infrastrukturą punktową o kluczowym znaczeniu dla gospodarki narodowej, do której zalicza się porty morskie, może prowadzić do utraty części ich naturalnego zaplecza i w konsekwencji obniżenia międzynarodowej konkurencyjności. Rozważania te oparto na analizie rynku usług portów Gdańsk i Gdynia oraz Kłajpeda.
The research subject is to identify and assess of basic threats and potential economic consequences of the construction of the Via Carpatia high-speed road regarding its impact on the Polish East Coast’s seaports. The aim of the study is to indicate that the lack of coordination of the development of linear infrastructure with its transport nodes such as seaports, may lead both to the loss of some of their hinterland and lower international competitiveness. These considerations were based on the analysis of the market for port services of Gdańsk/Gdynia and Klaipeda.

In the years 1696-1700, the nuncio in the Commonwealth was Giovanni Antonio Davia, later a cardinal. During his mission there were a number of complicated internal and external problems that plagued the Commonwealth: Turkish wars, relations between Catholics and infidels in Poland, and the political conflicts in Lithuania that ended in civil war. One of the most interesting topics is that of the possible participation of Giovanni Antonio Davia in the election of King Frederic Augustus Wettyn of Poland, whose reign had such terrible consequences for the Commonwealth. Davia was accused of supporting the Saxon candidacy by French diplomats and their supporters in Poland, because he owed the Saxon elector for the release of his nephew Giovanni Battista from Turkish captivity, which the Davia family sought. There is no direct evidence of the nuncio breaking the neutrality of the election, and only the accusations of Wettyn's opponents remain.
W latach 1696-1700 nuncjuszem w Rzeczypospolitej był Giovanni Antonio Davia, późniejszy kardynał. Na okres jego misji przypadło szereg skomplikowanych problemów wewnętrznych jak i zewnętrznych, jakie trapiły Rzeczypospolitą: wojny tureckie, relacje katolików z innowiercami w Polsce, konflikty polityczne na Litwie, które zakończyły się wojną domową. Do bardzo interesujących należy wątek ewentualnego udziału Giovanniego Antonio Davii w elekcji na króla Polski Fryderyka Augusta Wettyna, którego panowanie miało tak fatalne skutki dla Rzeczypospolitej. Davia oskarżany był o sprzyjanie saskiej kandydaturze przez dyplomatów francuskich i ich stronników w Polsce, gdyż elektorowi saskiemu zawdzięczał uwolnienie bratanka Giovanniego Battisty z niewoli tureckiej, o co rodzina Daviów bardzo zabiegała. Nie ma bezpośrednich dowodów na złamanie przez nuncjusza Davię neutralności w elekcji, a pozostają jedynie oskarżenia przeciwników Wettyna.

Jedną z przyczyn współczesnego kryzysu kulturowego są procesy sekularyzacyjne. Wywierają one wpływ na wiele aspektów życia indywidualnego i społecznego, których odzwierciedleniem jest sfera sztuki. Twórczość artystyczna jest nie tylko obrazem ludzkiej egzystencji, ale także wyrazem tęsknoty i dążenia do tego, co wykracza poza doczesność. Potwierdzają to wielkie arcydzieła, które pomimo, iż powstały przed wiekami ciągle nas zachwycają, gdyż ich twórcy czerpali inspirację z piękna chrześcijańskiej wiary. Współczesne odejście od  Boga przyjmuje różne formy – od sekularyzmu, który radykalnie neguje rzeczywistość nadprzyrodzoną aż po desekularyzację z jej „nową duchowością”, będącą często nieokreślonym spirytualizmem w stylu New Age. W tej perspektywie sztuka sakralna, zamiast ulegać presji zeświecczenia, winna na nowo odnaleźć swoją tożsamość jako ważny element nowej ewangelizacji. Wobec dzisiejszego człowieka, który zagubił niejednokrotnie drogę do Boga, sztuka jako via pulchritudinis spełni wówczas misję ewangelizacyjną, stając się pełnym nadziei ukazywaniem sensu, jaki nadaje naszemu życiu tajemnica zbawczej miłości Chrystusa.
Secular processes are one of the reasons of the contemporary cultural crisis. They influence many aspects of individual and social life which is reflected in the sphere of art. Artistic activity is not only a picture of human existence, but also an expression of longing and desire for what exceeds wordliness. Great masterpieces, in spite of being created many centuries ago, confirm this, as they do not stop to delight us because their creators were inspired by the beauty of Christian faith. The contemporary departure from God takes different forms - from securalizatiom which radically denies the supernatural reality to desecularization with its "new spirituality", being quite often an indefinite spiritualism in the New Age style. In this perspective, sacred art, instead of surrendering to the secularization pressure, should find its new identity as an important element of the new evangelization. Art as via pulchritudinis is to continue to fulfill its evangelizing mission for modern man who so often loses his way to God. It will then become for us a meaning full of hope which human life receives from the mystery of Christ’s redeeming love.
Eine der Ursache der heutigen Kulturkrise sind Säkularisierungsprozesse. Sie beeinflussen viele von jenen Aspekten des individuellen und gesellschaftlichen Lebens, die ihren Wiederhall in der Kunst finden. Die künstlerische Tätigkeit ist nicht nur das Abbild der menschlichen Existenz, sondern sie spiegelt auch die Sehnsucht und Suche nach dem wider, das die diesseitige Existenz übersteigt. Dies wird an großen Meisterwerken sichtbar, welche ‒ obwohl sie vor Jahrhunderten entstanden sind ‒  immer noch beeindrucken, weil ihre Schöpfer die Inspiration aus der Schönheit des christlichen Glaubens geschöpft hatten. Das gegenwärtige Weggehen von Gott nimmt verschiedene Formen an: von einem Säkulkarismus, der die übernatürliche Wirklichkeit radikal in Frage stellt, bis hin zur Desakralisierung mit ihrer "neuen Spiritualität", die nicht selten zu einem unbestimmten New-Age-artigen Spiritualismus verkümmert. In dieser Perspektive muss die sakrale Kunst, statt dem Laizisierungsdruck nachzugeben, ihre Identität als ein wichtiges Element der Neuevangelisierung wiederfinden. Gegenüber dem heutigen Menschen, der nicht selten den Weg zu Gott verloren hat, wird die Kunst als via pulchritudinis eine Evangelisierungsmission spielen können, indem sie den hoffnugsvollen Sinn darstellt, der unserem Leben das Gehemnis der erlösenden Liebe Christi verleiht.

In 2004 Peterson and Seligman presented their concept of virtues and 24 character strengths which are widely-valued positive characteristics considered to be important for achieving a good, happy life (Peterson, Seligman, 2004). For their measurement Peterson and Seligman (2004) developed Values in Action – Inventory of Strengths (VIA-IS). As a part of his International Personality Item Pool project (ipip.ori.org), Goldberg developed his own measurement of Peterson and Seligman’s character strengths, which differs from VIA-IS for example in its open access form. Research on Polish version of the International Personality Item Pool – Values in Action questionnaire (IPIP-VIA) was conducted on a sample of N = 908 adults. It proved satisfactory psychometric properties of the tool. High or satisfactory reliability for all the scales measuring character strengths was achieved. Validity of the tool was tested by comparing sex differences obtained in research with a Polish version of the IPIP-VIA and the results of studies conducted in the UK with the VIA-IS questionnaire.

W opracowaniu została przeprowadzona analiza transportu drogowego w państwach, przez obszar których przebiega międzynarodowa droga Via Carpatia. Głównym cel artykułu było uszeregowanie poszczególnych państw pod względem poziomu rozwoju transportu drogowego. Stanowiło to punkt wyjścia do dyskusji o potencjalnych obszarach oddziaływania drogowego korytarza transportowego Via Carpatia. W artykule hipoteza została sformułowana w sposób następujący: państwa położone wzdłuż międzynarodowej trasy Via Carpatia charakteryzują się zróżnicowanym poziomem rozwoju transportu drogowego. W celu weryfikacji hipotezy została wykorzystana metoda taksonomicznej miary rozwoju Z. Hellwiga. Do pozostałych zastosowanych metod badawczych należą statystyka opisowa oraz metody tabelarycznej i opisowej prezentacji wyników. Efektem przeprowadzonej analizy było wskazanie państw, które mogą najwięcej zyskać z realizacji badanego międzynarodowego korytarza transportowego. Potencjalne oddziaływanie badanej drogi zależeć będzie od poziomu rozwoju transportu drogowego, a, jak zostało podkreślone w artykule, państwa położone wzdłuż międzynarodowej drogi Via Carpatia nie stanowią jednolitego obszaru pod względem poziomu rozwoju transportu drogowego.
The paper contains the analysis of the road transport in countries along the road corridor Via Carpatia. The main aim of the article was to rank given countries in accordance with the road transport development level. It was the starting point for analyzing the potential influence areas of the Via Carpatia. In the article the main hypothesis was formulated as follows: countries situated along the international Via Carpatia route are characterized by diversified level of road transport development. In order to verify the hypothesis Z. Hellwig’s taxonomic method of measuring the development was used. Other applied research methods include descriptive statistics and methods for tabular and descriptive presentation of results. Consequently, the paper identified the countries, that could benefit from the Via Carpatia the most. The influence of the analyzed road corridor corresponds to the level of road transport development and, what is emphasized the article, there is a spatial differentiation in the level of road transport development among countries located along the Via Carpatia.

The paper discusses Henryk Elzenberg's views on religion and mysticism, as they are scattered in his essays and critical writings, especially in his intellectual diary Kłopot z istnieniem [A Trouble with Existence]. The author relates his evolution of thought in the context of the philosopher's biography. He was first interested in epistemology and axiology (ethics and aesthetics) and then got involved in religious and mystic quest. The type of intuitive knowledge through participation in the object, which eludes positive and conceptual definitions, is called by Elzenberg intusception. The religious perspective affects also his relation to values. Initially, it was treated as a universal system of perfect determinants of ethical action and aesthetic experiences. In later Elzenberg's axiology they took on religion meaning, as metempirical and transrational signs − symbols − of Infinity (Indeterminacy). Eventually, this „religion of values” gives way to mysticism of negation, individual and solitary, in which the leading role is played by the „sense and taste of Infinity”. The author puts forward an interpretative hypothesis i.e. Henryk Elzenberg's via negativa was undoubtedly inspired by his Buddhist reading list. It may be traced to Jewish cabalistic tradition, although the author of A Trouble with Existence never refers to this source.

Celem artykułu jest określenie, w jakim stopniu wybrane czynniki (wiek, poziom wykształcenia, płeć oraz miejsce zamieszkania) rzutują na fakt, że dana osoba korzysta z Internetu w celach dokonywania zakupów. W drodze przeprowadzonych badań udowodniono, że wiek, poziom wykształcenia, płeć oraz miejsce zamieszkania są zmiennymi, które mają statystycznie istotny wpływ na dokonywanie zakupów przez Internet przez Polaków. Na podstawie obliczonych wartości współczynnika V Cramera dodatkowo stwierdzono, że z czterech wymienionych zmiennych to wiek i wykształcenie są tymi, które w największym stopniu odpowiadają za zróżnicowanie rozpatrywanej cechy statystycznej.
The aim of the article was to determine to what extent the selected factors (age, educational level, sex and domicile) influence the fact that a person uses the Internet for shopping. The research proved that age, educational level, sex and domicile are those variables that have a statistically significant impact on purchasing over the Internet by Poles. On the basis of the values of Cramer’s V coefficient it was also found that – of these four variables – age and educational level are those which are mostly responsible for the dispersion of the statistical characteristic examined.

When St. Paul first set foot on the European continent, he travelled along the routes of the ancient province of Macedonia. The cities which he chose as his missionary destinations were not accidental. In fact, almost all of them were located along the Roman military route called Via Egnatia, which was laid down to allow for the smooth redeployment of troops through the harsh mountainous stretches of Macedonia. Although the Apostle’s journey along Via Egnatia was passed over in silence by the author of the Acts, it does not mean that the said road did not play an important role during Paul’s missionary journeys. Thanks to historical, archaeological and literary reconstruction, we can now prove that, although Via Egnatia was not of great importance for Paul’s missionary strategy, it significantly contributed to the expansion of Christianity and the development of the Early Church.

We give an elementary proof of the Pieri-type formula in the cohomology ring of a Grassmannian of maximal isotropic subspaces of an orthogonal or symplectic vector space. This proof proceeds by explicitly computing a triple intersection of Schubert varieties. The multiplicities (which are powers of 2) in the Pieri-type formula are seen to arise from the intersection of a collection of quadrics with a linear space.

“The way of beauty” in Bruno Forte’s view appears to be experienced faith or life in the horizon of faith. Beauty, as a category connected with the attitude of love, is a moving, dynamic value. Understood in this way beauty of love till the end can be discovered in the icon of the Beautiful Shepherd – the Crucified Christ. In this personal fragment of history the entirety of the Mystery comes to us – God, who is Love (cf. 1 John 4, 8.16). The love that is cognized is the driving force: love demands a reply of gratefulness. This responsorial character of love that should be characteristic of every Christian, can be first of all seen in Mary – All Beautiful, a transparen Icon of the Mystery. Contemplation of Christ’s face (following Her example of in Her), to which Blessed John Paul II encouraged the faithful (cf. NMI 25), leads to a transformation of the person and the world of persons, as it is entering the way of beauty, whose end is beauty of the person and beauty of the world. For “beauty will save the world” (F. Dostoyevsky).

The research on the coupling electromagnetic effect was studied in this paper, in consideration of the wreaking damage of the powerful electromagnetic pulse to the electronic products. The characteristic of the metallic via and stub interconnect with the coupling voltage was calculated by the model, which was the transfer function F( f ) of the protection circuit parameters of DC power source. The research showed that: the smaller radius of Metallic via, the lower amplitude of F( f ), the less energy of a power electro- magnetic pulse (PEP); the higher increase of the width of the stub interconnect, the bigger reduction of the characteristic impedance of plane wave coupling, the depth of the notch band significantly narrowed. The simulations and experiments were done to compare the protection effects of protection circuits with different parameters at last. The results showed that the protection circuit designed could be highly advantageous in protecting the DC power source in this article.

Increasing popularity of social media gives businesses a wide spectrum of possibilities to enter into díalos and interaction with consumers, to better understand their needs, to build durable relations with clients and to maintain brand communities. Thanks to social media, content may be transmitted with an unprecedented speed in the so-called viral manner. The consumer has been undergoing change too, expecting now instant answers to all his questions and doubts and more often than ever expressing complaints about a company in the media sphere of the internet. All these factors combine to cause organizations to face new challenges, the overcoming of which requires an appropriate preparation. The goal of this paper is to present some examples of organizations dealing with crises with the use of social media. Additionally, the paper describes some organizations which failed to tap into the potentialities offered by social networking services and ignored the power of virtual communities. This approach will allow formulating a code of good practices regarding crisis management through social networks so that organizations could be adequately prepared to respond to crisis in a way that not only helps them to avoid failure but will actually strengthen their image.

A facile, eco-friendly, room-temperature method for rapid one-pot synthesis of Pd metallic nanoparticles has been developed based on the successive reduction of Pd(II) precursors with gallic acid in an aqueous environment. The morphology and surface analysis of the resulting Pd nanoparticles were confirmed by aberration corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy followed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The particle size of palladium nanoparticles was calculated as 16 nm. This study demonstrates that the synthesis of nanoparticles (reduction and stabilization) can be effectively achieved using gallic acid.

One of the arguments supporting the credibility of the Christian faith formulated as part of fundamental theology is called the aesthetic argument. It empha-sizes the importance of the power of beauty in the process of accepting Christianity as trustworthy. To further a deeper reflection on the topic, it is commendable to read a document published by the Pontifical Council for Culture in 2006 called “Via Pul-chritudinis” – Privileged Pathway for Evangelization and Dialog. This document has not been officially translated into the Polish language yet but constitutes a compendium of the Church’s teaching on the subject of the evangelical power of beauty. The prin-cipal aim of this article is to extract inspirational content from the abovementioned document, which may prove useful within the framework of fundamental theology. The text starts with a short introduction to the topic of the theology of beauty and via pulchritudinis followed by the analysis of the abovementioned document. Next, it describes the current situation concerning faith and the nature of arguments used to demonstrate Christianity as credible. The main part of this analysis will include the topic of understanding and making of the aesthetic argument as well as the issue of the motivational aspect of via pulchritudinis.
Jednym z argumentów za wiarygodnością chrześcijaństwa, który jest formułowany w ramach teologii fundamentalnej, jest argument kaloniczny. Wskazuje się w nim na uwiarygadniającą wiarę chrześcijańską moc piękna. Dla pogłębiania tej refleksji inspirująca jest treść dokumentu „Via pulchritudinis” – uprzywilejowana droga ewangelizacji i dialogu wydanego przez Papieską Radę ds. Kultury w 2006 roku. Nie został on jak dotąd oficjalnie przetłumaczony na język polski, a stanowi kompendium nauczania Kościoła na temat ewangelizacyjnej siły piękna. Zasadniczym celem artykułu jest więc wydobycie inspiracji płynących z tego dokumentu, które przydatne mogą być dla refleksji prowadzonej w ramach teologii fundamentalnej. Po krótkim wprowadzaniu do zagadnienia teologii piękna i via pulchritudinis podjęta zostanie analiza wspomnianego dokumentu. Wskaże się najpierw na aktualną sytuację wiary oraz na kwestię natury argumentów za wiarygodnością chrześcijaństwa. W zasadniczej części tej analizy przedstawione zostanie zagadnienie rozumienia i konstruowania argumentu kalonicznego oraz kwestia waloru motywacyjnego via pulchritudinis.

Certain operator ideals are used to study interpolation of operators between spaces generated by the real method. Using orbital equivalence a new reiteration formula is proved for certain real interpolation spaces generated by ordered pairs of Banach lattices of the form $(X,L_∞(w))$. As an application we extend Ovchinnikov's interpolation theorem from the context of classical Lions-Peetre spaces to a larger class of real interpolation spaces. A description of certain abstract J-method spaces is also presented.

It is well known that Hall's transformation factorizes into a composition of two isometric maps to and from a certain completion of the dual of the universal enveloping algebra of the Lie algebra of the initial Lie group. In this paper this fact will be demonstrated by exhibiting each of the maps in turn as the composition of two isometries. For the first map we use classical stochastic calculus, and in particular a stochastic analogue of the Dyson perturbation expansion. For the second map we make use of quantum stochastic calculus, in which the circumambient space is the complexification of the Lie algebra equipped with the ad-invariant inner product.

Non è facile parlare di mistica, poiché il termine stesso non è molto chiaro. Esso ha tanti significati diversi. Perciò è importante conoscere cosa significa la mistica per i cristiani. Occorre prendere in considerazione ciò che scrive Tomaso Merton: “Mistica vera è solo mistica autenticamente religiosa”. E allora, in questo senso, diciamo che ogni mistica che non è religiosa, è mistica falsa. La mistica cristiana generalmente significa un’esperienza diretta e suprema unione dell’amore con Dio che porta ad una maggior conoscenza di Dio. Il cristiano deve sapere che la via mistica è aperta per tutti i battezzati. “Il seme” alla vocazione della vita mistica ogni uomo riceve nel sacramento di battesimo. Quando cristiano coopera con la grazia di Dio può crescere nella vita mistica e può essere più vicino Dio. Per questo la via mistica si unisce alla vita cristiana verso la santità. Trattando il tema della mistica cristiana è importante conoscere quali sono i principali criteri riguardanti l’autenticità della mistica. Il primo criterio teologico della via mistica è il mistero di incarnazione, perché nella persona di Cristo è avvenuta l’unione dalla natura divina con la natura umana, e solo in Gesù Cristo il cristiano può unirsi a Dio. Il secondo criterio sono i sacramenti: si pensa innanzitutto al Battesimo e all’Eucaristia. I sacramenti sono la sorgente della vita cristiana e mistica. Il criterio successivo ed ultimo è il mistero della Chiesa. L’unione con Dio avviene nella fede e per la fede nella Chiesa. Quando questi criteri vengono presi in considerazione possiamo parlare della vera mistica cristiana che conduce l’uomo verso Dio.

Opis:
The development of road and rail infrastructure is one of the priorities of EU transport policy. Transportation projects often result in conflicts with local communities. Conflicts make the implementation of projects expands and becomes more expensive. The same is true in the case of two transport projects Via Baltica and Rail Baltica. Already at the design stage, they led to a number of social conflicts in the ecological. Our aim is to show ways of resolving social conflicts and the possibility of applying them to solve problems concerning the implementation of transport projects. Proper preparation of the project on transport infrastructure should take into account not only its technical aspects but also social conditions. Preparatory activities, which may include public consultation, avoid protests and conflicts.

W kontekście zmian zachodzących w strukturach handlu detalicznego zwraca uwagę rosnący udział sprzedaży realizowanej z wykorzystaniem systemów telekomunikacyjnych oraz Internetu. Tendencje wzrostowe obserwowane są przede wszystkim w grupie produktów nieżywnościowych. Podmioty handlowe coraz częściej oferują możliwość zakupu drogą internetową również żywności. W artykule, na podstawie wyników badań własnych z wykorzystaniem wywiadu kwestionariuszowego, poddano weryfikacji stopień zainteresowania ofertą handlową firm posiadających żywność w sprzedaży internetowej wśród mieszkańców województwa podkarpackiego. Określono częstotliwość dokonywania takich zakupów. Odniesiono się ponadto do destymulant realizacji zaopatrzenia przez gospodarstwa domowe z wykorzystaniem form internetowych, uzupełniających kanały tradycyjne. Pomimo rosnącego zainteresowania nowoczesnymi rozwiązaniami, wśród nabywców żywności powszechne było przekonanie o korzyściach związanych z tradycyjnymi kanałami zaopatrzenia. Rozwiązania internetowe stosowano relatywnie rzadko, co warunkowane było ograniczeniami technicznymi oraz przesłankami subiektywnymi, jak odczucie potrzeby, przyzwyczajenia, umiejętności czy obawy.
In the context of changes in retail trade structures the attention is paid to an increase in sale realized via telecommunication systems and Internet. Tendencies to increase are observed mainly within a group of non-food products. Retailers more and more often offer purchasing possibility via Internet also concerning food. In the article, basing on results of own survey research, a level of interest of Podkarpacie citizens in the offer of retailers selling food via Internet was verified. There was identified frequency of such purchases. Moreover, there were discussed destimulants of realization of purchases by households via Internet, that go along with traditional forms. Although the interest in modern solutions among food buyers was growing, there was a common trust in benefits connected with traditional food purchases. Internet solutions were used relatively rarely. It was determined by technical limitations and subjective reasons such as a need appearance, habits, abilities or concerns.

There are various biomass energy technologies with imbalanced application status spread all over Sub-Sahara Africa. Currently, some biomass technologies have been developed maturely in the market such as biogas, that can be economically competitive, commercially developed, and applied in large scale, while other technologies are in the early stage of commercial applications, that need subsidies and other financial incentives to encourage them in the market. These include biomass power, biomass pallet fuel, biofuels from non-grain feedstock, etc. There are also many emerging biomass technologies which are at R&D and demonstration stage and are expected to develop into industrial and commercial applications, such as biological ethanol fuel from cellulose and biodiesel from oil plants. Due to the differences in terms of technology maturity, development stage, market competitiveness, and future perspectives of the various biomass technologies, the obstacles can be different, the needed incentives also vary. It is an important task for Sub-Sahara African Countries to study and design a biomass energy development program to ensure implementation of the region’s biomass energy development objectives. The biomass energy development program in Sub-Sahara Africa should include assessment of various biomass technology status and objectives, development of approaches in biomass technology research and development, pilot projects, demonstration, and application promotions, and identify supporting incentives in techniques and regulations.

Inclusion of the Polish sections of the Way of St. James in the European network of Camino de Santiago gave impetus to marking the Way of St. James within the territory of Ukraine. On the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Polish section of Camino de Santiago, on 10 October 2015 and 11 October 2015 in Shehyni and Medyka at the Polish-Ukrainian border, the first Ukrainian section of Camino de Santiago, the so-called Lviv Way of St. James Via Regia was connected with the Polish section of the St. James’s route – The Subcarpathian Way of St. James Via Regia.The objective of the paper is to present the origin and development of the first Ukrainian section of the Way of St. James – the Lviv Way of St. James Via Regia. Authors of the paper have also indicated the possibilities of development of the pilgrimages and religious tourism at the Polish-Ukrainian borderland on the basis of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. In the research related to religious tourism in the examined area only Catholic church sanctuaries (Catholic church of the Latin rite and Byzantine-Ukrainian rite) located in the frontier zone at the Polish-Ukrainian borderland were taken into account.From the perspective of functioning of the Route of St. James at the Polish-Ukrainian Borderland for over a year it may be stated that it may become an important and popular section of Camino de Santiago in this part of Europe. Studies conducted confirm that this section of the route is attended by Camino pilgrims seeking silence, solitude and a kind of counterbalance to the increasingly commercialized Camino de Santiago in Spain, especially its final 100-kilometer sections leading to the sanctuary in Santiago de Compostela.The presented thesis constitutes a result of the office and field works that have been conducted by the authors on the European sections of the Way of St. James since 2006. These research works have been focused mainly on the section Camino de Santiago at the Polish-Ukrainian borderland since 2013.

Poland and Italy are connected through a religious and cultural commonwealth, which has been enhanced through the ages by pilgrims, which have brougt income to Rome. Due to this there appeared an urgent need to create a center for Polonia in Rome. Therefore the house at Via Casia in the Roman district of Giustiniana was bought in 1980. This house was commemorated to Pope John Paul II in 1981. Results from the research of the Polish Home in Rome constitutes a certain sense of an oasis of Polishness, a patch of Polish ground outside of Poland and a place of cultural, religious and scientific dialogue, where Polish heritage is popularized and enriched by humanistic and Christian values.
Polskę i Włochy łączy szczególna wspólnota religijna i kulturowa, którą przez wieki wzmacniali polscy pielgrzymi przybywający do Wiecznego Miasta. Dlatego też powstała pilna potrzeba utworzenia w Rzymie ośrodka dla przebywających tam Polaków i Polonii. W 1980 r. zakupiono dom przy via Cassia w rzymskiej dzielnicy Giustiniana, który rok później ofiarowano papieżowi Janowi Pawłowi II. Jak wynika z badań, Dom Polski w Rzymie stanowił i stanowi w pewnym sensie oazę polskości, skrawek polskiej ziemi poza Polską, miejsce dialogu naukowego, religijnego i kulturowego, gdzie popularyzuje się polskie dziedzictwo i ubogaca je o wartości humanistyczne i chrześcijańskie.

Via Equidia to pomysł na odkrywanie „w rytmie konia” naturalnych pejzaży oraz zabytków, inny sposób poznawania historii. To innowacyjna koncepcja turystyki, której zadaniem jest „umożliwienie współistnienia tradycyjnego świata koni ze współczesnym światem cywilizacji wiejskiej i miejskiej”. To projekt zespołu tras konnych złożonych z dróg już istniejących, które należy skatalogować, opisać i przywrócić do użytkowania, a także szlaków nowych, wytyczonych jako marszruty tematyczne, o przebiegu dostosowanym do poziomu umiejętności jeździeckich i stopnia zainteresowania zabytkami. Celem działania Via Equidia jest również przywrócenie do życia wymierających rzemiosł związanych z tradycyjnym użytkowaniem konia – tej „najpiękniejszej zdobyczy ludzkości”. Towarzyszyć temu ma rewaloryzacja i rewitalizacja zabytkowych miejsc i obiektów związanych z transportem konnym (kuźnie, karczmy, zajazdy). Via Equidia proponuje udostępnienie, na wspólny użytek jeźdźców, piechurów i cyklistów, już istniejących, zaadaptowanych na potrzeby turystyki specyfi cznych miejsc i obiektów (postoje, popasy, schroniska, wodopoje, brody, sanitariaty). Pomysł narodził się we Francji, w departamencie Charente. Przewidywana jest możliwość rozszerzenia terenu objętego jego zasięgiem na sąsiednie departamenty, a nawet terytorium całej Francji. Szczególnie interesujące mogłyby być szlaki tematyczne, które łączyłyby Francję z innymi krajami Europy. Via Equidia Cisterciena jest propozycją szlaku łączącego nicią starych dróg zabytkowe zespoły cysterskie i pocysterskie. To idea przemieszczania się nie tylko w przestrzeni, ale i w czasie, drogami, po których przeszły konwoje cysterskie, jadące budować nowe opactwa. Pierwszym etapem jest pocysterski zespół opactwa Grosbot w departamencie Charente, we Francji. Wytyczono i opisano trasy dwóch wycieczek, umożliwiających odkrycie i zwiedzanie opactwa i jego okolic.
Via Equidia c’est l’idée de découvrir «au rythme du pas du cheval» les paysages naturels et le patrimoine, une autre façon d’apprendre l’histoire. C’est un nouveau concept touristique pour: «pouvoir vivre ensemble le monde du cheval, le monde agricole, rural et urbain», un réseau de chemins équestres, composé de chemins déjà existants, à recenser, rétablir et revaloriser et de chemins à créer. L’association veut proposer plusieurs itinéraires à parcourir, en fonction du temps disponible, des niveaux d’équitation acquis et de l’intérêt pour le patrimoine. Le but du projet est également la restauration des activités liées au monde équin, redécouverte, préservation des métiers, des professions et des traditions et des lieux liés à la «plus belle conquête de l’Homme». Via Equidia envisage la mise en valeur et réutilisation des équipements anciens liés au monde du cheval (forges, auberges, relais) et la création des équipements spécifiques (stationnements, haltes de repos, abris, abreuvoirs, gués, sanitaires, signalétique) partagés par les cavaliers, les randonneurs et les cyclistes. Le projet est né dans le département de la Charente. Cependant, il est prévu d’étendre ces balades sur d’autres territoires. Les «circuits à thèmes» pourraient lier plusieurs départements français et d’autres pays d’Europe. Via Equidia Cisterciena est une proposition de «circuits à thèmes» en rapport avec les voyages le long des chemins empruntés par les convois cisterciens pour bâtir les nouvelles abbayes. La première étape proposée en Charente est l’abbaye de Grosbot. Deux circuits sont tracés pour découvrir l’abbaye et ses alentours.

W artykule omówione zostały problemy dotyczące infrastruktury transportu drogowego wschodniej Polski, w tym województw: podlaskiego, wschodniej części mazowieckiego, lubelskiego i podkarpackiego, na przykładzie biegnącej przez te województwa drogi ekspresowej S19, popularnie nazywanej trasą „Via Carpathia”. Przedstawiono argumenty, że budowana na szlaku S19 infrastruktura drogowa jest kluczowym czynnikiem bezpieczeństwa i rozwoju gospodarczego wschodniej Polski a także istotnym elementem bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego, gospodarczego, społecznego i militarnego całego naszego kraju.
The article discusses problems related to road transport infrastructure in the Eastern Poland, including the following provinces: Podlasie, the eastern part of Mazovia, Lublin and Podkarpackie, on the example of the S19 expressway running through these provinces, popularly referred to as the "Via Carpathia" route. The arguments are presented that the road infrastructure built on the S19 route is a key factor in the security and economic development of Eastern Poland, as well as an important element of economic, social and military security of our entire country.

In the essay an attempt is made to investigate the processes of construction and reconstruction of meaning in the later books of the Cambridge poet J.H. Prynne. It has been argued that his poetry disturbs the act of meaning-making in a ceaseless experimental reconnection of words taken from multifarious discourses, ranging from economics to theology. Yet, what appears striking in this poetry is the fact that these lyrics take their force from figurative meaning with which the words are endowed in the process of a poem’s unfolding. Prynne appears to compose his lyrics by juxtaposing words that in themselves (or sometimes in small clusters) do yield a meaning but together exude an aura of unintelligibility. We may see this process as aiming at the destruction of what might be posited as the centre of signification of the modern language by constantly dispersing the meaning to the fringes of understanding. The poems force the reader to look to the margins of their meaning in the sense that the signification of the entire lyric is an unstable composite of figurative meanings of this lyric’s individual words and phrases. To approach this poetry a need arises to read along the lines of what is here termed “fleeting assertion”; it is not that Prynne’s poems debar centre in favour of, for instance, Derridean freeplay but rather that they seek to ever attempt to erect a centre through the influx from the margins of signification. Therefore they call for strong interpretive assertions without which they veer close to an absurdity of incomprehension; however, those assertions must always be geared to accepting disparate significatory influxes. Indeed, interpretation becomes a desperate chase after “seeing anew” with language but, at the same time, a chase that must a priori come to terms with the fact that this new vision will forever remain in the making.

The Act on Upbringing in Sobriety and Counteracting Alcoholism does not include provisions concerning strictly the retail sale of alcohol via Internet. The author considers that, based on provisions concerning stationary shops (required permits, the closed list of types of shops allowed to sell alcohol), the interpretation prohibiting the sale of alcohol online should be considered appropriate. A similar view can be found in the rulings of the Supreme Administrative Court.

This work summarizes the moments in which John Henry Newman experienced a personal conversion, which led him to a greater trust in Providence. As he writes, these moments became a kind of manifestation of God’s truth in his life. The first moment occurred when, at the age of fifteen, he came to know that God was constantly with him. He grew aware of a second conversion, when he experiences the weakness and death of his sister, which compelled him to move away from the intellectual perfectionism of the evangelical faith he professed. The third moment came after the rejection of the Oxford Movement, when Newman arrived at the conclusion that it was not the Anglican Church, but the Catholic Church, that possessed all of Christian truth and tradition. Finally, the fourth moment of conversion emerged in Newman’s Catholic period, when he was confronted with the definition of papal infallibility and showed himself to be in some contradiction with the authority of the Church. These moments allowed us to define the concept of trust in Newman’s teachings and life. We follow this author in his itinerary of reflection to underline that, although in the Catholic Church trust is related to faith and is observed in pastors, this trust is never contrary nor subjected to reason.
Artykuł przedstawia najważniejsze doświadczenia osobistego nawrócenia Johna Henry’ego Newmana, które doprowadziły go do większego zaufania Opatrzności. Jak sam pisze, doświadczenia te stały się swoistą manifestacją Bożej prawdy w jego życiu. Pierwsze doświadczenie miało miejsce, gdy w wieku piętnastu lat uświadomił sobie, że Bóg jest stale przy nim. Drugi moment nawrócenia nastąpił, gdy doświadczył słabości i śmierci swojej siostry, co zmusiło go do odejścia od intelektualnego perfekcjonizmu wyznawanej wiary ewangelicznej. Trzeci ważny moment pojawia się po odrzuceniu ruchu oksfordzkiego, kiedy Newman dochodzi do wniosku, że to nie Kościół anglikański, lecz Kościół katolicki posiada całość chrześcijańskiej prawdy i tradycji. Wreszcie czwarte doświadczenie przychodzi w okresie katolickim Newmana, kiedy po konfrontacji z definicją nieomylności papieskiej odkrywa, że stoi w pewnej sprzeczności z autorytetem Kościoła. Wymienione doświadczenia pozwoliły zdefiniować pojęcie zaufania w nauczaniu i życiu Newmana. Podążamy za tym autorem na trasie jego refleksji, aby podkreślić, że chociaż w Kościele katolickim zaufanie jest związane z wiarą i postawą pasterzy, to jednak nigdy nie jest ono ani sprzeczne z rozumem, ani mu podporządkowane.

The audit of the execution of legal regulations with respect to entities in the mutual wagering business has been conducted on order by the lower house of the Polish Parliament, i.e. the Sejm. The audit focused on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the Customs Service bodies in combating illegal organising and advertising of mutual wagering via the Internet, and in fighting against Polish citizens’ participation in this type of activity. The audit also examined how the Customs Service supervises the entities that have the Ministry of Finance’s permission to conduct mutual wagering, including via the Internet. The audit was conducted at the Ministry of Finance and in the Customs Chamber in the city of Szczecin.

The genetic diversity was investigated among two chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum × grandiflorum Ramat./Kitam.) cultivars ‘Lady Salmon’ and ‘Lady Vitroflora’ and its 15 lines of plants derived from somatic embryos in using ten random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. All primers gave 108 bands with 1218 products from 148.65 to 4391.20 bp in size. The average number of bands per primer was 10.8. Most fragments (54; 50%) were polymorphic, 9 (0.8%) specific and others (45; 49.2%) were monomorphic. Cluster analysis grouped all the cultivars and their lines into two main clusters and two subclusters. Most genetic diversity was characteristic for LS2 lines of plants derived via somatic embryogenesis from cultivar ‘Lady Salmon’. All lines were different from each other and from the original cultivar propagated by meristematic explants. RAPD markers are a helpful tool to detect the genetic diversity of chrysanthemum plants derived via somatic embryogenesis (SE). Our result will provide useful information for production laboratory and for breeding programmes.

Artykuł porusza zagadnienie metodologii badań eklezjologii fundamentalnej. Autor zwraca uwagę na wartość i potrzebę uaktualnienia metody via ascendens, zwłaszcza jej odmiany, która bada przejawy życia Kościoła. Na przykładzie Ameryki Łacińskiej opisuje pięć wybranych aspektów życia Kościoła od wewnątrz: ekumenizm, stosunek do religii niechrześcijańskich, obojętnych religijnie i do ateizmu oraz do życia społecznego i kultur. Za pomocą narzędzia heurystyczne SWOT omawia ich przykładowe mocne i słabe strony, możliwości i zagrożenia. W ostatniej części, uwzględniając doświadczenie Kościoła w Ameryce Łacińskiej, sygnalizuje potrzebę poszerzenia przedmiotu teologii fundamentalnej o niespełnione oczekiwania tych, którzy pozostawiają Kościół; podkreśla znaczenie wykonywania misji jako źródło i cel badań teologicznych; zwraca uwagę na rangę w teologii kwestii nurtujących różne grupy społeczne.
The article discusses the issue of research methodology in the field of fundamental ecclesiology. The author draws attention to the importance and need to update the via ascendens method, especially its variants, which examine aspects of the life of the Church. Taking Latin America as an example, he analyses five selected aspect of the Church’s life from within in relation to ecumenism and non-Christian religions, to religiously indifferent and atheism, and in relation to issues concerning social life and culture. By using SWOT heuristic tools, he discusses their exemplary strong and weak aspects, including opportunities and threats. In the last part, taking into account the Latin American ecclesial experience, the author, first, indicates the need to broaden the subject of fundamental theology concerning the problem of the unfulfilled expectations of those who leave the Church. Next, he stresses the importance of carrying out the mission as the source and purpose of theological research. Finally, he draws attention to the fact, that there are important questions in theology, which concern different social groups.

We give simple randomized algorithms leading to new upper bounds for combinatorial problems of Choi and Erdős: For an arbitrary additive group G let $P_n(G)$ denote the set of all subsets S of G with n elements having the property that 0 is not in S+S. Call a subset A of G admissible with respect to a set S from $P_n(G)$ if the sum of each pair of distinct elements of A lies outside S. Suppose first that S is a subset of the positive integers in the interval [2n,4n). Denote by f(S) the number of elements in a maximum subset of [n,2n) admissible with respect to S. Choi showed that $f(n):=min{|S|+f(S)| S ⊆ [2n,4n)} = On^{3/4})$. We improve this bound to $O(n ln(n))^{2/3})$. Turning to a problem of Erdős, suppose that S is an element of $P_n(G)$, where G is an arbitrary additive group, and denote by h(S) the maximum cardinality of a subset A of S admissible with respect to S. We show $h(n):=min{h(S) | G a group, S ∈ P_n(G)}=O(ln(n))^2)$. Our approach relies on the existence of large Sidon sets.

The derivation of the next nonlinear term of the KZK equation is done within original perturbation scheme on the base of the virial expansion for thermic equation of state. We also derived equations for second and third harmonic components in the nearfield of the sound wave generated by a piston transducer. Calculation scheme for a numerical estimation of the integrals for the fundamental and second harmonics is proposed as well as for the averaged third harmonic component. Some results of performed calculations are given for the illustration of the method possibility and comparison with direct finite difference solutions of the KZK equation.

In this paper, we study several fractional variational problems with functionals that contain n unknown functions with their higher order Caputo derivatives and Riemann–Liouville integrals. We prove generalized fractional Euler–Lagrange equations. We also study an isoperimetric problem with multiple constraints, and we find the optimality conditions. Some examples are provided to illustrate the applications of the results.
