    Nowadays, the desire and the emphasis, which are put on continuous development, drive the innovative ideas all over the word. As an effect, the concept of Smart City was created. This term refers to the cities where logistics and public means of transport are crucial. One of the pioneering ideas implemented in Smart City is the possibility of renting a vehicle for minutes. This solution is proposed mainly in the big metropolises, and thanks to the development of Internet of Things, it has recently gained huge popularity. Among the offered vehicles, there are not only classic, ordinary passenger cars, but also the alternative means of transport such as: electric scooters, bicycles and delivery vehicles. In the context of the implementation of Smart City, Katowice decided to allow the transport-sharing companies to introduce their services within Silesia Province. The following project studies the competitiveness of transport-sharing enterprises’ services. The final conclusion shows that the variety of different transport-sharing companies’ proposals give customers the opportunity to choose the most appropriate and economical option for them in a particular moment.

    Opis:
    The primary objective of the paper is to discuss examples of sharing transport services in the Polish market as manifestations of the application of the idea of the sharing economy by contemporary consumers. Based on the essence of the considered concept and/or economy model, a review of previous studies was made and subjects for the authors’ own research were selected. The case study and online survey methods were used. In particular, services offered under the Traficar, Uber, and Wavelo brands were analysed. The research that was conducted made it possible to identify the determinants, as well as the advantages and disadvantages, of this type of market practice. It also allowed to develop certain recommendations for marketers interested in the methodical application of sharing services and/or products.
    Celem głównym opracowania było omówienie przykładów współdzielenia przez współczesnych konsumentów usług transportowych z rynku polskiego jako przejawu zastosowania idei ekonomii współdzielenia. Wychodząc od istoty uwzględnianej koncepcji i/lub modelu gospodarki, dokonano przeglądu dotychczasowych badań i wybrano obiekty do badań własnych autorów opracowania. Zastosowano metody studiów przypadków i ankietę internetową. W szczególności objęto analizą przedsięwzięcia oferowane pod markami Traficar, Uber i Wavelo. Przeprowadzone badania umożliwiły zidentyfikowanie uwarunkowań oraz zalet i wad tego typu praktyk rynkowych. Pozwoliły także na wypracowanie pewnych rekomendacji dla marketerów zainteresowanych metodycznym wdrażaniem współdzielenia usług i/lub produktów.

    System roweru publicznego (bike-sharing system) staje się coraz bardziej powszechnym elementem systemu transportowego w przestrzeni miast w Polsce i na świecie. Do głównych powodów wprowadzania tego rozwiązania na obszarach miejskich zaliczyć można potrzebę zwiększenia wydajności miejskich systemów transportowych oraz dążenie do ograniczenia problemów tworzących się wskutek presji tradycyjnych środków transportu na środowisko. Rower publiczny z powodzeniem staje się także elementem transportu multimodalnego łącząc się z innymi środkami transportu publicznego. W Polsce bike-sharing funkcjonuje od 2008 r. rozszerzając swój zasięg z każdym kolejnym rokiem o nowe miasta, a także obszary wiejskie. W opracowaniu przeanalizowano zmiany liczby systemów w Polsce w latach 2017-2018 – w okresie największego rozwoju tej formy transportu na badanym obszarze. Analizę wykonano w oparciu o wskaźniki liczby stacji roweru publicznego na określonej powierzchni oraz liczby rowerów na tle liczby mieszkańców analizowanych miejscowości. W pracy porównano także cenniki wypożyczeń rowerów dla poszczególnych systemów funkcjonujących w Polsce. Na podstawie przeanalizowanych danych wyznaczono także kierunki rozwoju roweru publicznego w Polsce.
    The public bicycle system (bike-sharing system) is becoming an increasingly common element of the transport system in urban space in Poland and in the world. The main reasons for implementing this solution in urban areas include the need to increase the efficiency of urban transport systems and to reduce the problems created by the pressure of traditional means of transport on the environment. Public bike is also successfully becoming an element of multimodal transport by connecting with other public transport. In Poland, bike-sharing has been operating since 2008, expanding its range with each subsequent year for new cities, as well as rural areas. The study analyzed changes in the number of systems in Poland in 2017-2018 – in the period of the greatest development of this form of transport in the studied area. The analysis was based on the indicators of the number of public bicycle stations on a given area and the number of bicycles on the background of the number of inhabitants of the analyzed cities. The work also compared bicycle rental rates for individual systems operating in Poland. On the basis of the analyzed data, the directions of public bicycle development in Poland were also determined.

    The article presents the development of urban car-sharing systems. In recent years we have observed substantial increase in the number of such systems implemented all over the world.     The mandatory management systems implemented since 2008 in rail transport resulting from legal requirements [1-8], very often (especially in the first years of implementing the requirements) functioned independently of the optional procedural approach - ISO standard [9-10]. Currently, the integration of requirements in both the mandatory and voluntary areas has become common practice. Legal requirements and recommendations do not define or suggest any specific form of extending the existing management systems. Regulation EC 402/2013 in Article 3 point 7 [8] defines only the obligation of interaction between systems (interfaces mean all interaction points during the system or subsystem life cycle). The publication describes the relationship between the requirements in the field of management systems currently used in the railway system resulting from legal requirements (Safety Management System - SMS) and voluntary implementations (Quality Management and Environmental Management System).

We discuss the main principles of bike-sharing, its generations, types, and benefits to system users and entire urban transport systems. The aim of the article is to present a comparison of bike-sharing systems found in Polish and Chinese cities. The authors also consider new market practices, which can be implemented when introducing or improving current bike-sharing systems.

    W artykule omówiono zastosowanie idei współdzielenia zasobów logistycznych w łańcuchach transportowych wykorzystujących transport intermodalny. Uwaga skoncentrowana została na wpływie kooperacji konkurentów na możliwości zwiększenia udziału transportu intermodalnego w towarowych przewozach ładunków. Autor, omawiając istniejące przypadki wyżej wymienionej współpracy, wskazuje możliwości zastosowania koncepcji sharing economy na rynku usług transportu intermodalnego i zwiększenia przez to jego udziału w całości przewozów. W artykule określono również warunki (m.in. organizacyjne), jakie muszą być spełnione dla utworzenia lub zwiększenia współpracy w omawianych łańcuchach transportowych. Autor stwierdza, że koopetycja małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw potęguje ich możliwości konkurencyjne na globalnym rynku. Jednocześnie, w przypadku zastosowania koopetycji w celu zmiany sposobu transportu na transport intermodalny, oprócz korzyści jakościowych oraz ekonomicznych pojawiają się korzyści środowiskowe. Autor stwierdza także, że istnieje potrzeba tworzenia programów wspierających i promujących koopetycję w określonych obszarach gospodarki.
    The article discusses the application of the idea of sharing logistics resources in transport chains using intermodal transport. Attention was focused on the impact of competitors cooperation on the possibility of increasing the share of intermodal transport of cargo transports. By presenting the existing cases of the above-mentioned cooperation, the author shows the possibilities of applying the concept of ‘sharing economy’ on the market of intermodal transport services and thereby increasing its share in overall transport. The article also sets up the conditions (inter alia organizational) that must be met to create, or increase cooperation in transport chains. The author states that the coopetition of small and medium-sized enterprises increases their competitive potential in the global market. At the same time, when coopetition is used to change the mode of transport to intermodal transport, in addition to qualitative and economic benefits, there are also wide range of environmental benefits. The author also states that there is a need to create programs supporting and promoting coopetition in specific areas.

    The trend of the sharing economy brings together an increasing number of supporters as well as interest over the past several years. This phenomenon and the pace at which it is growing and gaining popularity are not without impact on previously functioning successfully business models. The article presents the key principles of the sharing economy and presents the possibilities of using them according with the appropriate tools in the area of transporting goods in the city. Collaborative economy creates New opportunities for more efficient management of this sphere of the city’s activity.

    Shared transportation, directly corresponding to research on the sharing economy, is an important issue, directly linked with the issue of city transport, as well as that of alternative transport when analysed from a broader perspective. Forms of alternative city transport may be classified into two basic groups, different in terms of the manner in which they use their shared vehicles. It is either ride-sourcing or vehicle-sourcing (further broken down to car-sharing, bike-sharing and scooter-sharing). All the above-specified forms require access to a mobile app or a website and, consequently, some Internet and app-using skills, so it is obvious that they are predominantly used by young people. The fact prompted the author to research consumer behaviour in the sharing economy area among young people, who are regular users of the public transport available in Krakow. The research was conducted on a group of 96 respondents using qualitative method (FGI). The objective of the research was to identify the factors which determine some specific mobile behaviours in young adults in the area of alternative forms of the public transport, as well as identification of these forms of transport which are preferred and most popular among users. With all certainty, alternative forms of transport represent an attractive transportation offer addressed to young people, complementing the city transport system. Young people pointed to the particular importance of hedonistic factors prevailing n their choices, as they particularly appreciated reaching their destination in a fast, pleasant and comfortable anner, as well as the feeling of independence and freedom. However, alternative transport was certainly not hosen for reasons related to the environmental protection or economic aspects.

    The article is related to urban transport systems. The authors focus on solutions that will positively influence the problem of excessive noise or pollution generated in cities through transport activities. They refer to existing single initiatives, but also demonstrate the need for complex solutions that integrate solutions into a single system that enables the use of various means of transport through organizational and ICT solutions. The aim of the article was to present a review of selected solutions that could reduce the harmful effects of transport, which can be used to improve the environmental performance of urban transport systems.
    Artykuł poświęcony został tematyce miejskich systemów transportowych. W pracy skupiono się na rozwiązaniach, które mają pozytywnie wpłynąć na problemy nadmiernego hałasu czy zanieczyszczeń powstałych w miastach poprzez działalność transportową. Autorzy odnieśli się do istniejących już pojedynczych inicjatyw ale także ukazali potrzebę zastosowania rozwiązań kompleksowych, których zadaniem jest integracja rozwiązań w jeden system umożliwiający korzystanie z różnych środków transportu poprzez rozwiązania organizacyjne oraz ICT (ang. Information and Communication Technologies). Celem artykułu było zaprezentowanie przeglądu wybranych rozwiązań, które mogą ograniczyć szkodliwy wpływ transportu na wybranych rozwiązań stosowanych w celu poprawy ekologiczności miejskich systemów transportowych.

Możliwości, jakie oferują, pozwalają na korzystanie z roweru nie tylko w celach rekreacyjnych, ale również umożliwiają dotarcie do pracy, dzięki rozbudowanej sieci stacji i niskich kosztach użytkowania. Coraz więcej mieszkańców miast dostrzega liczne zalety korzystania z tego rodzaju transportu i decyduje się na zmianę swoich zachowań komunikacyjnych. Celem poniższego artykułu jest zapoznanie czytelników z funkcjonowaniem automatycznego systemu wypożyczalni rowerów miejskich City by Bike w Katowicach, który powstał w 2015 roku. W początkowej części artykułu przedstawiono ogólną charakterystykę systemu rowerów miejskich, a także szczegółowo omówiono zasady działania rowerów miejskich w Katowicach i zaprezentowano obszar występowania stacji rowerów miejskich. Kolejna część artykułu skupia się na zmianach, jakie wprowadzone zostaną w roku 2019 oraz planach rozwoju w przyszłości. Wykazano również związki systemu rowerów miejskich w Katowicach z systemami w innych miastach w okolicy, które dodatkowo pozwalają na zwiększenie zainteresowania tym rodzajem komunikacji. Przeprowadzony przegląd literatury i analiza danych pozwolił na ocenę istniejącego systemu, przedstawienie szans rozwoju w Katowicach, a także Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowskiej Metropolii. Rosnące zainteresowanie tego typu systemem wskazuje na konieczność jego stałej rozbudowy i ulepszania.
    The concept of city bikes sharing has been around the world since 1965 and has been changing over the years. Currently, city bike systems are gaining more and more popularity. The possibilities they offer allow to use the bike not only for recreational, but also enable to get to work through the extensive network of stations and low costs of use. More and more city residents see many advantages of using this type of transport and decide to change their communication behavior. The aim of the article is to inform about operation of the City by Bike in Katowice, which was launched in 2015. First part of the article presents the general characteristics of the bike sharing system and detailed principles of operation of city bikes in Katowice and the areas where city bike stations are located. Next part of the article focuses on changes to be introduced in 2019 and future development plans. Connections between the city bike system in Katowice and systems in the neighbouring cities – allowing to increase an interest in this type of communication – have been also presented in the article.The literature review and data analysis have resulted with the possibility to evaluate the existing system, as well as to present development opportunities in Katowice and the GZM Metropolis. The growing interest in this type of system indicates the necessity of its constant development and improvement.

    Generation change contributes to the emergence of new consumer trends, defined by global economy researchers as medium-term trends. One of them is the modification of the existing traditional model of ownership and use of cars. The sharing economy is based on the sharing of resources (e.g. cars) by owners to external entities or individual users. Mobility-as-a-Service has become the answer to new mobility needs. In the future, its development will affect the creation of new business models, both by existing and new market players, not only from the automotive industry but also IT sector, especially its part dealing with the creation of mobile applications. This paper presents MaaS characteristics and the use of this kind of services in mobility in the city.

    Purpose: The purpose of the article is to discuss and analyze new regulations regarding passenger transport, new obligations of intermediaries such as Uber and drivers using such platforms. Design/methodology/approach: Analysis and interpretation of legal provisions, analysis of the socio-economic context and desirable implications. Findings: The new regulations should increase the sense of justice and equal treatment of entrepreneurs due to the unification of the requirements for all entities providing passenger transport services. Potential increase in the quality of transport services for consumers due to greater legal certainty and standards. Regulating the status and activities of intermediary platforms that have previously operated in the sphere of legal uncertainty. Originality/value: This is one of the few first studies on regulations that have been in force recently and regulating the controversy related to Uber's activity in Poland. This should be a practical source of knowledge and conclusions about the applicable regulations for transport companies, drivers wishing to operate e.g. under the Uber banner, as well as aware passengers who can expect the quality of services provided.

    Currently, in urban areas, there are a lot of services related to the new mobility concept. The development of such services brings many benefits, from supplementing the transport of fer of a given city to environmental and economic aspects. However, it is worth remembering that these services are dedicated to the society and it is the target group of recipients of all the adwantages of shared mobility. Due to this, the authors proposed the possibility of considering shared mobility services as a solution supporting the overcoming of barriers in access to transport services and a preventive measure of social exclusion. The work includes aspects of improving transport accessibility, possibilities of adjusting services to the needs of the society, safety of services and reduction of the phenomenon of social exclusion. The work is support for the popularization of shared mobility services and public education.

    The transport accessibility of cities decreases with the increase in road traffic. Planners, traffic engineers, and road managers are looking for solutions that will reduce congestion on city streets without limiting transport accessibility to the city center. The article presents an overview of solutions used in Poland and abroad that aim to encourage people who travel by car to the city center to use other means of transport. The solutions were identified that can contribute to reducing road traffic in the city without limiting its transport accessibility based on the area inventory in Krakow. The next part of the article analyzes the use of P&R parking and the bike-sharing Wavelo system in Krakow in 2018. The results of the conducted analyses indicate that the most entrances to the P&R parking in Krakow were in the morning hours, whereas the most exits from these parking were in the afternoon. The holiday months were characterized by a lower use of parking space compared with the remaining months. These conclusions may indicate that the people using the analyzed parking lots are mainly commuters. On the contrary, the analysis of the use of the bike-sharing Wavelo system in Krakow allows for the conclusion that a large numer of people used rental bikes for short journeys. These trips can complement the journeys made with the use of public transport or as a continuation of the journey after leaving the car in the P&R parking. Investments and development of this type of solutions may be an incentive for people traveling by car to use another means of transport.

    In line with the concept of sustainable development, changes in various forms of urban transport have been observed over the past few years, and the implementation of low-emission transport solutions is becoming a priority for local government. One of the key changes observed worldwide taking place on the urban transport market is the dynamic development of various forms of shared micro-mobility. One of these forms are electric moped scooter sharing services and despite their rapid growth in popularity, the existing research contributions on determinants of the use of this micro-mobility mode are limited to only a few studies. The goal of this paper is to advance knowledge regarding the motives and barriers to the use of electric moped scooter sharing services. The paper discusses the results of a study that was carried out in 2021 on a sample of 352 Polish users of electric moped scooter sharing services. The most important reasons for using these services included the convenience of this mobility mode and no city parking costs. The biggest barriers in choosing this micro-mobility mode for Polish consumers were those related to the safety of use.

Szereg rozwiązań z zakresu mobilności indywidualnej korzystnych dla miast, w których użytkownicy dzielą się w różnych formach środkiem transportu, np. samochodem, rowerem czy skuterem, jest jednym z wyzwań polityki transportowej aglomeracji miejskich. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie idei koncepcji smart city oraz planów rozwoju z zakresu ekonomii współdzielenia w miastach.
    The development of engineering technologies and the increase of planning possibilities contributed to the development of modern urban agglomerations. In the fight against the chronic phenomenon of construction, combining air generated by transport or the dominance of individual motorization and other urban functions, the often-used concept is the Smart City concept. A number of solutions in the field of individual mobility used for cities where they are divided into different forms of transport, e.g. car, bicycle or scooter, is one of the challenges of urban agglomeration means of transport. The purpose of the article is to present the idea of the Smart City concept and to develop the development in the field of sharing economy in cities.

    : In large cities, we witness the development of alternative transport which accompanies the alternative car, motorcycle, scooter and bicycle transport and public transport, as well as traditional taxi transport. Such alternative forms of transport include the following transportation services: services similar to taxi services (however in lower price and offering alternative order placement methods when, i.e. ordering via a car rental application); rental of cars (owned by an enterprise or private owners) for minutes or hours, known as car sharing; and bicycle rental offered in a public rental system. Because of the specificity of order realisation, which requires access to the computer or a mobile device and the Internet and/or special app, alternative transport services are typically used by young people. In addition, a number of features characteristic for the younger digital generation (network generation, Y generation) supports a growing popularity of the transportation among the generation. Some of the features include: desire of freedom, personalisation, close observation, sensitivity to credibility and openness, desire of entertainment, joint actions, networking, a need for speed, innovation. The above-mentioned research was conducted on a pool of younger Y generation representatives, aged 19–24. Respondents are very happy to use alternative transport, they also plan to use it in the future and encourage others to do so. The key reason for their choosing such a type of transport is the freedom of choice of time and place, i.e. a vehicle is available any time and any place. On the other hand, they place some importance on the financial factor, but it is not decisive when compared to other advantages. Similarly, environment-friendly and collaborative aspects in the context of alternative transport choices have not been confirmed by the respondents’ opinion.
    W dużych miastach obserwujemy rozwój transportu alternatywnego, towarzyszącego indywidualnemu transportowi samochodowemu, motocyklowemu, motorowerowemu i rowerowemu oraz zbiorowej komunikacji miejskiej i tradycyjnym przedsiębiorstwom taksówkowym. Do alternatywnych form transportu zaliczamy następujące usługi transportowe: zbliżone do usług taksówkowych, jednakże tańsze i odmienne w porównaniu z tradycyjnymi formami w sposobie realizacji zamówienia, które odbywają się przez aplikację, wynajem samochodów (będących własnością danego przedsiębiorstwa lub prywatnych właścicieli) na minuty lub godziny, co określamy mianem carsharingu, oraz wypożyczanie rowerów w ramach publicznego systemu wynajmu. Ze względu na specyfikę realizacji zamówienia, do czego potrzebny jest dostęp do komputera lub mobilnego urządzenia oraz internetu lub specjalnej aplikacji, z oferty firm świadczących usługi w ramach transportu alternatywnego korzystają najczęściej ludzie młodzi. Popularności tego transportu wśród przedstawicieli tego pokolenia sprzyja również wiele cech charakteryzujących młode pokolenie cyfrowe (sieci, Y). Przykładowe z tych cech to: pragnienie wolności, personalizacja, uważna obserwacja, czułość na wiarygodność i otwartość (wrażliwość?), pragnienie rozrywki, wspólne działania i nawiązywanie kontaktów, potrzeba prędkości, innowacyjność. Przytoczone badania zostały przeprowadzone wśród przedstawicieli młodszego pokolenia Y, czyli osób w wieku 19–24 lata. Ankietowani bardzo chętnie korzystają z transportu alternatywnego, w przyszłości również planują z niego korzystać i będą do tego zachęcać innych. Najważniejszymi powodami, które nimi kierują przy wyborze tego rodzaju transportu, są: dowolność w czasowym i przestrzennym korzystaniu z transportu, czyli fakt, że można z pojazdu skorzystać właściwie o dowolnej porze i w dowolnym miejscu. Natomiast czynnik finansowy ma dla nich pewne znaczenie, jednakże nie jest on decydujący wobec innych korzyści. Także czynniki ekologizacji i współpracy kolaboratywnej w kontekście wyboru transportu alternatywnego, na podstawie wypowiedzi badanych osób, nie zostały potwierdzone.

    Environmental pollution in cities is an increasingly popular issue tackled in research. One of the elements with a significant impact on the state of urban ecosystems is transport with its pressure on individual components of the environment. Sustainable urban transport is gaining prominence as a postulate expressed in cities’ strategic documents, constituting an element alleviating the negative effects of anthropopressure. In the light of the need to introduce innovative solutions for clean forms of transport, numerous papers indicate the bicycle as an answer to some of those problems. The article presents a review of literature referring to the socio-economic aspects of using the bicycle in cities as a means of transport for daily commuting. The analysis is based on publications on cyclist safety in road traffic, the perception of the bicycle as a means of transport in cities, and the introduction of innovative solutions, such as bicycle-sharing systems.

    The article presents the results of a research project referring to the dynamics of the public bike-sharing system BiKeR (Białystok, Poland) in 2014-2015. Identification of the dynamics of the system permits modifications that lead to the enhancement of the efficiency and help to determine the reasons for the choice of a location for new bicycle stations. The basic methodology used for compiling data were the statistical methods with special emphasis on network analysis and graph theory. Analysis of the data allowed us to identify the mechanisms of changes in the system affecting its dynamics, especially in the area of network topology changes in conjunction with the location of network nodes (stations). The research and analysis showed the specificity of PBS as a transport network. The PBS network, the process of analysis, the value of network metrics and their distribution differ significantly from other types of transport networks (including municipal). The results improve decision-making processes related to the creation and modification of a PBS network, especially in the field of process support, the choice of station location and the impact of these choices on the networks dynamics (as a prognostic utility).

The possibility of usingindividual transport rental per minute, especially passenger cars, is a convenience forresidents who may meet their transport needs fast and comfortably, without incurring fixedfees and, additionally, in an environmentally friendly form. Therefore, this article attemptedto characterize the users of carsharing, understood as a sustainable transport service implementing the assumptions of the sharing economy. The research carried out on a sample of 1176 respondents indicated that people using shared mobility demonstrate the desired – sustainable transport behavior, among others, consisting of an increase in the amount of travelling on foot and by bicycle while limiting travelling by private cars. In addition, the study showed that working people and students use carsharing to meet their transport needs. Secondly, the most popular time of operation of the service is in the evening, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the leading purpose is personal matters, which are dealt with the help of this type of shared mobility.
    Zjawiskiem zauważalnym w dzisiejszych czasach, szczególnie wśród młodszej części społeczeństwa, jest odchodzenie od potrzeby posiadania rzeczy na rzecz postawy dzielenia się nimi z innymi, realizując tym samym założenia ekonomii współdzielenia. Możliwość korzystania z wynajmu transportu indywidualnego na minuty, w szczególności samochodów osobowych, stanowi udogodnienie dla mieszkańców, którzy mogą zaspokoić swoje potrzeby transportowe szybko i wygodnie, bez ponoszenia stałych opłat, a dodatkowo w formie przyjaznej dla środowiska. Dlatego też w niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę scharakteryzowania użytkowników carsharingu, rozumianego jako zrównoważona usługa transportowa realizująca założenia ekonomii współdzielenia. Badania przeprowadzone na próbie 1176 respondentów wskazały, że osoby korzystające z mobilności współdzielonej wykazują pożądane - zrównoważone zachowania transportowe, m.in. polegające na zwiększeniu ilości podróży pieszych i rowerowych przy jednoczesnym ograniczeniu podróży samochodami prywatnymi. Ponadto badanie wykazało, że osoby pracujące i studenci korzystają z carsharingu w celu zaspokojenia swoich potrzeb transportowych. Po drugie, najpopularniejszym czasem funkcjonowania usługi są godziny wieczorne, od 18:00 do 22:00, a wiodącym celem są sprawy osobiste, które załatwiane są przy pomocy tego typu współdzielonej mobilności.

    Cel/hipoteza: W ostatnich latach zauważalny jest dynamiczny rozwój urządzeń mikromobilnych, przeznaczonych do transportu osób. Tego rodzaju pojazdy określa się mianem urządzeń transportu osobistego (UTO). Jak każdy pojazd drogowy, także i UTO mogą powodować liczne wypadki i kolizje. Naturalną konsekwencją szkodowości związanej z wykorzystaniem UTO jest postawienie pytania o zabezpieczenie interesów poszkodowanych. Mając powyższe na uwadze za cel niniejszego opracowania przyjęto przybliżenie roli ubezpieczeń od odpowiedzialności cywilnej użytkowników urządzeń transportu osobistego w kontekście szkodowości związanej z użytkowaniem tego rodzaju pojazdów oraz krótką charakterystyką dostępnych na rynku produktów ubezpieczeniowych. W pracy postawiono tezę: mimo iż przepisy nie zobowiązują kierujących UTO do posiadania polisy komunikacyjnej OC, szeroki katalog niekorzystnych zdarzeń związanych z użytkowaniem urządzeń transportu odpowiednio wymaga upowszechnienia ochrony ubezpieczeniowej użytkowników tego rodzaju pojazdów. W polu ochrony ubezpieczeniowej powinni się znaleźć: użytkownicy, wypożyczający sprzęt, sprzedawcy, operatorzy a także gospodarstwa domowe. Metodyka: Opracowanie ma charakter teoretyczno-analityczny. Obok przeglądu dostępnej literatury przeanalizowano również dostępną na rynku ofertę dobrowolnych ubezpieczeń adresowanych do użytkowników UTO. Wnioski z badań: Ubezpieczenie dedykowane posiadaczom urządzeń transportu osobistego jest stosunkowo nowym produktem na rynku i jeszcze niewiele towarzystw ubezpieczeniowych posiada je w swojej ofercie. Użytkownicy urządzeń transportu osobistego mogą korzystać z posiadanych ubezpieczeń odpowiedzialności cywilnej w życiu prywatnym, zawieranych głównie przy ubezpieczeniach domów i mieszkań, stanowiącym zabezpieczenie na wypadek wyrządzenia szkody osobom trzecim. Jednym z rozwiązań prowadzących do upowszechnienia ochrony ubezpieczeniowej mogłaby być propozycja ubezpieczeń dostosowanych do rodzaju ryzyka oraz krótkiego charakteru użytkowania sprzętu (np. ubezpieczeń na czas przejazdu).
    The purpose of the article/hypothesis: In recent years, there has been a noticeable and dynamic development of micromobile equipment intended for the transport of people. These types of vehicles are known as personal transport equipment (PTE). Like any road vehicle, PTE can also cause numerous accidents and collisions. A natural consequence of damage related to the use of PTE is posing the question about securing the interests of the aggrieved parties. Considering the above, the aim of this paper is to present the role of civil liability insurance for users of personal transport equipment in the context of claims related to the use of this type of vehicles and to provide a brief description of insurance products available on the market. The paper presents the following thesis: although the regulations do not oblige PTE users to have a civil liability insurance policy, a wide catalogue of adverse events related to the PTE use requires the popularisation of insurance protection for users of this type of vehicles. Such insurance protection should cover: equipment users, renters, sellers, and operators, as well as households. Methodology: The paper is theoretical and analytical in its nature. In addition to the review of the available literature, the existing offer of voluntary insurance for PTE users is also analysed. Results of the research: Insurance addressed to users of personal transport equipment is a relatively new product on the market and still few insurance companies have it in their offer. PTE users can utilise their civil liability insurance often being part of their home insurance in their private life, which offers protection in the event of damage to third parties. One of the solutions leading to the dissemination of insurance protection could be a proposal of insurance tailored to the type of risk and short-term use associated with this kind of equipment (e.g. travel-type insurance).

    Properly organized ticket distribution is a crucial tool to realize tariff policy of public passenger transport provider in the given area, as well as the factor influencing the ticket sale profits. Providing the proper accessibility of public communication ticket sale network requires signing contracts with third parties, which is consequently connected with the necessity to divide the tasks and responsibilities among them, which generates certain risk for each of the parties. In the article the types of risks have been discussed, as well as the methods of its sharing in case of agreements concerning public communication paper ticket distribution. Based on the example of the Municipal Transport Union of the Upper Silesian Industrial District in Katowice, the types of such agreements have been presented as well as their influence on organizing urban communication ticket distribution system in Silesian agglomeration. The paper presents a new approach to risk management as an important part of integration strategy of urban transport organizer.
    Odpowiednio zorganizowana dystrybucja biletów to ważne narzędzie realizacji polityki taryfowej organizatora miejskiego transportu zbiorowego na danym obszarze oraz czynnik wpływający na dochody ze sprzedaży biletów. Zapewnienie właściwej dostępności sieci sprzedaży biletów komunikacji miejskiej wymaga zawarcia umów z podmiotami zewnętrznymi, co z kolei wiąże się z koniecznością podziału zadań i odpowiedzialności pomiędzy stronami umowy i generuje określone ryzyko dla każdej z nich. W artykule omówiono rodzaje ryzyka oraz sposoby jego podziału w przypadku umów na dystrybucję papierowych biletów komunikacji miejskiej. Na przykładzie Komunikacyjnego Związku Komunalnego Górnośląskiego Okręgu Przemysłowego w Katowicach zaprezentowano typy takich umów i omówiono ich wpływ na organizację systemu dystrybucji biletów komunikacji miejskiej w aglomeracji śląskiej. Artykuł prezentuje nowe podejście do zarządzania ryzykiem, jako ważnego narzędzia realizacji strategii integracji organizatora transportu miejskiego.

    System bezobsługowych wypożyczalni rowerów (BWR) polega na zapewnieniu taniego dostępu rowerów do pokonywania krótkich odcinków w przestrzeni miejskiej. Pierwsza bezobsługowa wypożyczalnia rowerów została uruchomiona w 1960 r. w Amsterdamie. Obecnie na świecie funkcjonuje ponad 200 takich wypożyczalni. W Polsce pierwszy system BWR został uruchomiony w Krakowie. Rower uznawany jest za jeden z fundamentów zrównoważonego transportu i przynosi wiele korzyści ekonomicznych, społecznych i środowiskowych. Implementacja systemu BWR planowana jest także w Opolu. W ramach projektu Opole na rower przeprowadzone zostały badania nad możliwościami zastosowania owego systemu w tym miescie. W toku badań przeanalizowano warunki zarówno infrastrukturalne, jak i społeczne.
    Bike-share system is a system, which provides a cheap access to bicycles on the short sections in the urban space. The first bicycle sharing system was started in 1960 in Amsterdam. Actually in the world work more than 200 bike-shares. The first system in Poland was started in Krakow. A bicycle is one of the foundations of sustainability transport. It has a good influence for economic, social and environmental aspects of sustainability. An implementation of bike-share system is planned in Opole too. Within the project Opole on bikes has been conducted the study about ability of application the system in this city. For this purpose were analyzed both infrastructural and social conditions.

    Problematyka badania obejmuje rozwój mobilności współdzielonej w Polsce. Analizie poddano zarówno determinanty rozwoju polityk mobilnościowych w kraju, jak i za granicą. Wyznaczono również bariery oraz tendencje rozwojowe. W  opracowaniu wykorzystano następujące metody badawcze: przegląd i  krytyczną analizę literatury przedmiotu i  opracowań branżowych, analizę statystyczną oraz analizy GIS. Przeprowadzone analizy wskazują jednoznacznie na to, że transport współdzielony systematycznie zyskuje popularność. Uwarunkowane jest to m.in. zmianą podejścia decydentów do rozwoju ośrodków miejskich, obierając w swoich działaniach rozwojowych bardziej zrównoważony kierunek. Transformacja ta zachodzi również w  podejściu do rozwoju przestrzenno-funkcjonalnego miast. Obejmuje ona odejście od tradycyjnego modelu projektowania z nastawieniem na użytkowanie samochodów do zwrócenia większej uwagi na potrzeby mieszkańców. Wynika to również ze zmiany postaw i świadomości użytkowników miejskich, którzy dostrzegają negatywny wpływ środowiskowy, wynikający z ich preferencji transportowych. Opracowano i poddano analizie zestawienia statystyczne w krajach Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej. Wyniki wskazują na to, że Polska jest liderem w zakresie wolumenu zainteresowania użytkowników korzystaniem z transportu współdzielonego. Wykorzystano również studium przypadku Trójmiasta do zbadania atrakcyjności usług transportu współdzielonego na jego terenie. Wyznaczono zarówno obszary koncentracji usług współdzielonych, jak i obszary, w których transport publiczny jest niedostatecznie rozwinięty, a mobilność współdzielona może tę lukę uzupełnić.
    The problem of the study includes the development of shared mobility in Poland. The determinants of mobility policies development in the country and abroad were analyzed. Barriers and development tendencies were also determined. The study uses the following research methods: review and critical analysis of the literature on the subject and industry studies, statistical and GIS analysis. The conducted analyses clearly indicate that shared transport is systematically gaining popularity. It is conditioned, among others, by a change in the approach of decision makers to the development of urban centers, taking a more sustainable direction in their development activities. This transformation is also taking place in the approach to spatialfunctional development of cities. It includes a shift from the traditional design model of focusing on car use to paying more attention to the needs of residents. It also results from a change in attitudes and awareness of urban users who recognize the negative environmental impacts resulting from their use. Statistical summaries in Central and Eastern European countries have been compiled and analysed. The results show that Poland is the leader in terms of the volume of users’ interest in using shared transport. A case study of Tricity was also used to investigate the attractiveness of shared transport services in its area. Both areas of concentration of shared services and areas where public transport is underdeveloped were identified, where it was pointed out that shared mobility can fill this gap.

    The current model of organization of supply chains results in inefficient use of transport resources, high transport costs, increasing congestions and CO2 emission. This effect has been demonstrated by research conducted by the authors, as well as by the European Environmental Agency. This situation can be changed by development of alternative business model for collaboration in organisation of the transport processes within the supply chains. The aim of this paper is to present practical implementation of the T-Scale platform that enables collaboration among independent transport users and transport service providers. Moreover, an overview of existing communication platform with its major functionalities are presented. The work is summarized by the major benefits of collaboration achieved by the group of companies operating in the FMCG sector in Poland.

    Miasta są motorami rozwoju gospodarczego — to między nimi odbywają się przepływy kapitału, są najważniejszymi ośrodkami edukacji i innowacji. Ponad połowa ludności światowej żyje w miastach i liczba ta jeszcze się zwiększy. Szybki rozwój obszarów miejskich staje się coraz większym wyzwaniem dla planistów miejskich, szczególnie ważnym jeżeli chodzi o planowanie systemów transportowych i logistycznych w zakresie przepływów pasażerów i dóbr na obszarach miejskich. Urbanizacja sprzyja jednak innowacjom, prowadzącym do projektowania i wdrażania nowych modeli organizowania przepływów w miastach. W artykule zostanie zaprezentowane koncepcje organizacyjne rozwiązań z zakresu crowd logistics, zmierzające do usprawnienia i zoptymalizowania procesów przepływów pasażerów i ładunków na obszarach miejskich. Analizie zostaną poddane możliwości zastosowania koncepcji crowd logistics, rodzaje rozwiązań, które w tym zakresie można stosować, a także korzyści wynikające z ich wdrażania, zarówno dla mieszkańców, przedsiębiorców, turystów jak i władz. Autorka dokona przeglądu doświadczeń i rozwiązań crowd logistics stosowanych w metropoliach światowych.
    Cities are the engines of economic development — between them flows of capital take place, they are the most important centers of education and innovation. More than half of the world's population lives in cities and this number will increase further. Rapid development of urban areas is becoming an increasing challenge for urban planners, especially when it comes to planning transport and logistics systems for passenger and goods flows in urban areas. However, urbanization is conducive to innovations that lead to the design and implementation of new models for organizing flows in cities. The article will present organizational concepts of crowd logistics solutions aimed at streamlining and optimizing the processes of passenger and cargo flows in urban areas. The analysis will cover the possibilities of using the crowd logistics concept, the types of solutions that can be used in this regard, as well as the benefits resulting from their implementation. The author will review the crowd logistics experience and solutions used in metropolitan areas.

    Charakterystyka i analiza rozwoju systemów roweru publicznego były przedmiotem wielu opracowań w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu. Istnieje dość powszechne przekonanie, że większość systemów publicznych rowerów zlokalizowanych jest na gęsto zaludnionych obszarach miejskich, podczas gdy to innowacyjne rozwiązanie komunikacyjne rozwijane jest także na obszarach zewnętrznych miejskich obszarów funkcjonalnych i staje się atrakcyjną alternatywą dla dojazdów publicznym transportem zbiorowym. Celem opracowania jest ukazanie typów jakie przyjmuje publiczny system rowerowy na terenach zewnętrznych miejskich obszarów funkcjonalnych. Przedmiotem analizy są rozwiązania przyjęte w publicznych systemach rowerowych w Polsce w okresie od 2008 do 2019 r. W opracowaniu szczególną uwagę zwrócono na funkcję systemu, jego dostępność i zasięg przestrzenny. Porównano typy jakie przyjął rower publiczny, a także określono możliwości oraz kierunki rozwojowe tego środka transportu. Przeprowadzone badania ukazują rosnącą rolę roweru w komunikacji w miejskich obszarach funkcjonalnych. Staje się on istotnym ogniwem w transporcie multimodalnym, łączącym miasto z jego najbliższym otoczeniem. Służy też coraz częściej połączeniu centrum gminy wiejskiej, miejskiej, czy miejsko – wiejskiej z oddalonymi osiedlami, czy miejscowościami.
    The characteristics and analysis of the development of bike – sharing systems have been the subject of many studies in the last decade. There is a fairly widespread belief that most public bicycle systems are located in densely populated urban areas, while this innovative communication solution becomes an attractive alternative to public transport in functional urban areas hinterlands. The purpose of the study is to show the types that bike – sharing have in functional urban areas. The subject of the analysis are bike – sharing systems adopted in Poland in the period from 2008 to 2019. Particular attention was paid to the system’s function, its availability and spatial coverage. The public bicycle types were compared. Moreover, the possibilities and development directions of this mode of transport were determined. The conducted research shows the growing role of the bicycle in functional urban area’s transport. It becomes an important link in multimodal transport, connecting the city with its immediate surroundings. It is also increasingly used to connect the centre of a rural, urban, or urban-rural municipality with distant housing estates or towns.

    In this article the global trends in bike-sharing are revealed. In particular, a brief review of the emergence of and improvement in bike-sharing systems and the number of countries who have introduced bike-sharing, as well as the size of the bike park in various countries, are revealed. The features of the bike-sharing systems adopted in Spain, the Netherlands, and Denmark are considered. The bike-sharing system in the capital of Kazakhstan is shown, revealing the problems faced by the cycling infrastructure in the country. As seen in other countries, the concept of luminous bike paths designed with national patterns was developed, which were planned to be located in parks in the cities of the republic. This project is expected to enhance tourism in the region.For Kazakhstan, research into bike-sharing is particularly relevant, but lack of suitable cycling infrastructure, inadequate statistics, and inadequate literature on the topic obstructs comprehensive research into the problem, due to which there persists a logical question: is the bike-sharing system in the urban logistics of Kazakhstan a myth or an approaching reality?

    The development of information and communication technologies, including in particular the modern development of mobile technologies, has an undeniable impact on people's lives and, consequently, on consumers' market behaviour. The growing popularity and capabilities of mobile devices, as well as the increasing availability of mobile Internet access, mean that in many markets companies are redefining their business models, in which the activities conducted via the Internet play an increasingly important role. This is particularly visible on the market of individual and public transport services, where thanks to mobile devices, as well as in consistency with trends in consumer market behaviours and the development of cities in accordance with the smart city concept, for several years now we can observe the emergence of innovative alternatives to traditional forms of transport. The pace of appearance of product innovations on the market depends, of course, to a large extent on the level of acceptance of innovation by consumers. The aim of the article is to determine the degree of innovativeness of the inhabitants of the Poznań agglomeration in the use of transport solutions available in Poznań. The research part presents the results of own research conducted in 2019 on a sample of 795 respondents. They showed that the inhabitants of the Poznań agglomeration are not afraid to use product innovations on the market of transport services and use them to a greater extent than in the case of the general population.
    Rozwój technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych, w tym przede wszystkim współcześnie rozwój technologii mobilnych ma niezaprzeczalny wpływ ludzkie życie, a co za tym idzie - na zachowania rynkowe konsumentów. Rosnąca popularność i możliwości urządzeń mobilnych, a także coraz po-wszechniejszy dostęp do mobilnego Internetu sprawiają, że na wielu rynkach przedsiębiorstwa redefiniują swoje modele biznesowe, w których coraz większe znaczenie odgrywają działania prowadzone przez Internet. Szczególnie widoczne jest to na rynku indywidualnych i publicznych usług transportowych, gdzie właśnie za sprawą urządzeń mobilnych, a także w spójności z trendami w zachowaniach rynkowych konsumentów i rozwijaniem miast zgodnie z koncepcją smart city, od kilku lat obserwować można pojawianie się innowacyjnych alternatyw, w stosunku do tradycyjnych form transportu. Tempo pojawiania się na rynku innowacji produktowych, jest oczywiście uzależnione w dużej mierze od poziomu akceptacji innowacyjności przez konsumentów. Celem artykułu jest określenie stopnia innowacyjności mieszkańców aglomeracji poznańskiej w zakresie korzystania z rozwiązań transportowych dostępnych w Poznaniu. W części badawczej zaprezentowano wyniki badań własnych, przeprowadzonych w 2019 roku na próbie 795 respondentów. Pokazały one, że mieszkańcy aglomeracji poznańskiej nie obawiają się korzystać z innowacji produktowych na rynku usług transportowych i korzystają z nich w większym stopniu niż ma to miejsce w przypadku ogółu populacji.

    Current model of organization of supply chains results in inefficient use of transport resources, high transport costs, increasing congestions and CO2 emission. This effect has been demonstrated by research conducted by the authors as well as by the European Environmental Agency. This situation can be change by development of alternative business model for collaboration in organisation of the transport processes within the supply chains. The aim of this paper is to present practical implementation of the T-Scale platform that enables collaboration between independent transport users and transport service providers. Moreover, an overview of existing communication platform with its major functionalities are presented. The work is summarized by the major benefits of collaboration achieved by the group of companies operating in the FMCG sector in Poland.
    Obecne modele organizacji łańcuchów dostaw wykorzystują zasoby transportowe w sposób nieefektywny, co skutkuje wysokimi kosztami transportu, rosnącą kongestią oraz wzrostem emisji CO2. Potwierdzają to badania prowadzone przez autorów, a także przez Europejską Agencję Ochrony Środowiska. Opisane w pracy problem mogą być wyeliminowane poprzez wprowadzenie w firmach nowego modelu wspólnej organizacji procesów transportowych w łańcuchach dostaw. Celem tej pracy jest przedstawienie wyników z praktycznego wdrożenia platformy T-Scale, która umożliwia współpracę niezależnych użytkowników transportu i dostawców usług transportowych w oparciu innowacyjny model biznesowy. Dodatkowo w pracy zaprezentowano przegląd istniejących platform komunikacyjnych wraz z ich głównymi funkcjonalnościami. Prace podsumowują wyniki wdrożenia rozwiązania w grupie firm z branży FMCG działającej w Polsce.
