Aleksandr Dugin is sometimes called “Putin’s brain,” and there can be no question that Putin’s global strategy for expanding Russian power has followed quite precisely a strategic plan created, published, and advocated by Dugin beginning in 1996. This aggressive plan of political destabilization, economic hostage-taking, and ultimately militaristic invasions has been defended with a philosophical patchwork called “the Fourth Political Theory.” Dugin claims his “National Bolshevism” can stand alongside communism, fascism, and liberalism as a genuine contender in ontology, the philosophy of history, and political philosophy; and that it is the only theory that stands in genuine opposition to neo-liberalism and corporate capitalism. I show that this view, built from a distortion of Heidegger’s idea of “human-being” as Dasein, is not a coherent philosophy or worldview. I contrast it with personalism, which has always opposed the very aspects of communism, fascism, and liberalism that Dugin opposes, and does so quite effectively and without militarism, expansionism, or the need to take the nation state as some final end of human political development.

We prove that the holomorphic differential equation $\varphi^{\prime \prime}(\varphi+c) = \gamma(\varphi^{\prime})^{2} (\varphi:\mathbb{C}\rightarrow \mathbb{C}$ be a holomorphic function and $(\gamma, c) \in \mathbb{C}^{2})$ plays a classical role on many problems of real and complex convexity. The condition exactly $\gamma \in \{1, \frac{s-1}{s} \/ s \in \mathbb{N} \backslash \{0\}\}$ (independently of the constant c) is of great importance in this paper. On the other hand, let $n \geq 1, (A_{1}, A_{2}) \in \mathbb{C}^{2}$ and $g_{1}, g_{2} : \mathbb{C}^{n} \rightarrow \mathbb{C}$ be two analytic functions. Put $u(z, w) = \| A_{1}w - g_{1}(z) \|^{2} + \| A_{2}w - g_{2}(z) \| ^{2}v(z,w) = \| A_{1}w - \overline{g_{1}}(z) \| ^{2} + \| A_{2}w - \overline{g_{2}}(z) \|^{2}$, for $(z,w) \in \mathbb{C}^{n} \times \mathbb{C}$. We prove that $u$ is strictly plurisubharmonic and convex on $\mathbb{C}^{n} \times \mathbb{C}$ if and only if $n = 1, (A_{1}, A_{2}) \in \mathbb{C}^{2} \backslash \{0\}$ and the functions $g_{1}$ and $g_{2}$ have a classical representation form described in the present paper. Now $v$ is convex and strictly psh on $\mathbb{C}^{n} \times \mathbb{C}$ if and only if $(A_{1}, A_{2}) \in \mathbb{C}^{2} \backslash \{0\}, n \in \{1,2\}$ and and $g_{1}, g_{2}$ have several representations investigated in this paper.

Identification of the immovable cultural property management options is analyzed in this book by applying mathematical modeling and selective – innovation of multipurpose methods, which allow us to make comprehensive assessments of infrastructural, technological, technical, heritage, social, economic, legal aspects of the immovable cultural property management. The main goal is to create a theory and a decision-making support system based on it, to increase the efficiency of investments in the immovable cultural property management by applying the mathematical modeling and selective – innovation of multi-purpose methods. The authors describe the multi-criteria decision-making support systems for the immovable cultural property management projects and the ways of their practical application. Several practical decision-making solutions are presented, and a decision-making support system is developed to implement the described methods and techniques. It is widely agreed that banks play a growth-enhancing role for the real economy. However, distorted incentives around bank insolvency may corrupt banks' credit allocation and monitoring - ultimately leading to suboptimal real economic performance. The outcomes of such distorted incentives are suboptimal credit allocation and monitoring - which is felt in the real economy: Not the projects and firms that need (and deserve) credit most on grounds of economic viability and profitability, but those that have particular risk- or asset-profiles are now favored by incentive-corrupted financial intermediaries. The results strongly advocate putting bank insolvency and resolution regimes center stage in discussions towards reforming bank regulation. In the European context, this calls for particular emphasis on the common resolution framework and the Single Resolution Mechanism as a vital part of the European Banking Union.

Modern virtual reality (VR) technology has a growing impact on further areas of the new digital economy. This is possible due to the declining prices of electronic components, the rapid implementation of new technologies in the market of goods and services and the increasing availability of advanced devices that use the emerging new technology. The purpose of this article is to present the potential of using VR technology in the real estate market. The article identifies solutions that are already successfully operating in the market as well as examples of possibilities for the future use of this technology. The main advantage of using VR in the real estate market is innovation and a multi-sensory form of presenting offers. The presented results of the studies concern the potential of VR technology (the impression that the technology exerts on users, ease of use, functionality of the equipment, the reality of the evoked feelings, possible areas of application). These results are also part of a larger study on VR equipment, which consisted of several stages.

The paper addresses the problem of real-time emission control in a given set of air pollution sources. The approach applied utilizes the optimal control technique for distributed parameter systems. A set of pointwise emission sources with a predefined location and emission characteristics is considered as the controlled object. The problem is formulated as on-line minimization of an environmental cost function, by the respective modification of emission level in the controlled sources, according to the changing meteorological conditions (e.g. wind direction and velocity). Dispersion of atmospheric pollution is governed by a multi-layer, dynamic model of SOχ transport, which is the main forecasting tool used in the optimization algorithm. The objective function includes the environmental damage related to air quality as well as the cost of the controlling action. The environmental cost index depends on the current level of SOχ concentration and on the sensitivity of the area to this type of air pollution. The adjoint variable; related to the main transport equation of the forecasting model, is applied to calculate the gradient of the objective function in the main optimization procedure. The test computations have been performed for a set of major power plants in the industrial region of Upper Silesia (Poland).

Structural and petrographic study applied to the gneisses from the eastern part of the Orlica-Śnieżnik Dome, indicate that two different types of gneiss are present. The Śnieżnik gneisses are porphyrithic granites, constricted and sheared into L-S tectonites, most commonly with augens; the Gierałtów gneisses are sheared migmatites, porphyroblastic gneisses and banded gneisses, with two sets of metamorphic foliation, intrafolial folds and lensoid leucosome aggregates or metamorphic porphyroblasts. Both lithologies were later zonally sheared and transformed into more or less deformationally advanced mylonites, difficult to be distinguished from one of the two types. Identification of the Śnieżnik and Gierałtów gneisses is possible only between zones of the late (Variscan) shearing, in which the original, pre-kinematic structures are preserved.

Opis:
The profession of real estate broker in Poland has been regulated by low. Currently, according to the Act amending laws regulating the performance of certain professions, so-called Deregulation Act, from 1 January 2014 access to this profession has been opened. The main problem of this article is to try to answer two questions. The first one concerns the direction of changes in the brokerage profession in the real estate markets from the point of view of the level of formal qualifications and the functions performed. The second one refers to the assessment of institutional changes (formal and informal) affecting the profession of real estate broker. The empirical research material has been collected by the pilot survey method and the literature analysis of the subject. As a research tool, the author has been used the questionnaire in an electronic form – a web questionnaire. As a result of carried out analysis, it can be conclude that the introduction of the Deregulation Act in a fundamental way did not change the professional functions performed by real estate brokers. The analyzes show that after 2014, the percentage of respondents raising their professional qualifications by participating in trainings increased. At the same time fewer people completed post-graduate studies and courses in this area. The analysis of the empirical material also indicates that the respondents definitely negatively assessed the changes taking place in the intermediary profession, caused by institutional factors such as Deregulation Act.
Zawód pośrednika w obrocie nieruchomościami był w Polsce zawodem regulowanym. Obecnie na mocy ustawy o zmianie ustaw regulujących wykonywanie niektórych zawodów, tzw. ustawy deregulacyjnej, od 1 stycznia 2014 r. dostęp do tego zawodu został otwarty. Główny problem niniejszego artykułu sprowadza się do próby odpowiedzi na dwa pytania. Pierwsze z nich dotyczy kierunku zmian zawodu pośrednika w obrocie nieruchomościami z punktu widzenia poziomu kwalifikacji formalnych oraz realizowanych funkcji. Drugie natomiast odnosi się do oceny zmian instytucjonalnych (formalnych i nieformalnych) pod wpływem ustawy deregulacyjnej, oddziałujących na wykonywanie zawodu pośrednika nieruchomościami. Podstawę źródłową stanowi materiał empiryczny zgromadzony metodą pilotażowych badań ankietowych oraz analiza literatury przedmiotu. Jako narzędzie badawcze wykorzystano kwestionariusz ankiety zbudowany w formularzu elektronicznym – webankietę. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz wśród badanej zbiorowości można wnioskować, że wprowadzenie ustawy deregulacyjnej w sposób zasadniczy nie zmieniło funkcji zawodowych wykonywanych przez pośredników. Z przeprowadzonych analiz wynika, że po 2014 r. wśród badanej zbiorowości zwiększył się odsetek osób podnoszących swoje kwalifikacje zawodowe poprzez uczestnictwo w szkoleniach, ale równocześnie mniej osób kończyło studia podyplomowe i kursy w tym zakresie. Z analizy materiału empirycznego wynika ponadto, że ankietowani zdecydowanie negatywnie ocenili zmiany zachodzące w zawodzie pośrednika, wywołane czynnikami instytucjonalnymi, m.in. ustawą deregulacyjną.

A practical application of sustainable development (SD) is unfeasible without being guided by a logical framework and suitable mechanism. Popular conceptions of SD are various, and non-rigorous, so that they do not offer a viable point of departure for any practical programme, that Engineers could follow. There is an urgent need to return to the basis provided by the form of words of the Our Common Future (OCF) definition of SD to rediscover the true meaning of the concept. In OCF the context for the SD definition is set. The key ideas of environment and development are refocused giving these words a specific meaning framing the Brundtland definition which consequently should never be quoted out of context. SD is a non-negotiable unambiguous principle, a restatement of the ‘Hicksian’ principle of income that is the foundation of sound and wise household management. This paper proposes a mechanism for practical SD that allows the ordering of the popular vocabulary of the subject and leads to useful insights into the nature of SD itself not just for Engineers but for sustainability practitioners in all walks of life.

How is intimacy constructed between friends who live apart, at a long distance? Family studies have paid considerable attention to the (re)negotiation processes of personal and intimate bonds within transnational families. However, less attention has been paid to the ways in which these structural constraints affect intimate relationships between friends. As significant members of the personal networks of individuals, friends have a supportive role that, in the continuum of other personal relationships (family, co-workers, neighbors, acquaintances), is challenged by the increasing mobility that characterizes contemporary global post-industrial societies. While a significant amount of literature has underlined the negative impact of geographical distance in friendships, other studies have suggested otherwise, stressing the renewed importance of friendship ties between geographically long-distant young adults. This paper explores long distance friendships (LDFs) focusing mainly on two dimensions: the meanings given to intimacy and the practices of friendship at a distance. The main hypothesis is that transformations of intimacy between long-distant friends are likely to be associated with reconfiguration of the meanings given to friendship, as well as to the norms that regulate them. On the one hand, the erosion of friendship is associated with the impossibility of keeping a face-to-face, co-present, accompanying contact, which is part of the expected normative role of friendship. On the other hand, its reconfiguration is mostly associated with those routines and rituals that keep friendship alive by permanently reenacting a sense of self identity and “ontological security” through the “work of memory.” The role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in fostering intimacy within an LDF is also explored, as these have considerably changed the ways we relate to geographical distance and, therefore, the norms that shape intimate relationships.

Language heterogeneity in the classroom is quite a common phenomenon. For experts, it is a challenge; for teachers and parents, it is most often a problem. This challenge or problem will be discussed on the basis of the theory of multilingual education and migration pedagogy. The aim of this contribution is to present an app that can be regarded as a universal tool for fostering multilingualism and explaining it from the viewpoint of parents, since they are an important but often ignored aspect of multilingual education. The research analysis will illustrate and interpret the research results of a qualitative study in which parents from different countries participated. It is not country specific, but it highlights the key aspects that can foster multilingual education and that at least partly match with the underlying theory.

This monograph is a common work of Department of Investment and Real Estate, University of Lodz. It is an overview of various fields of interest of the researchers. The main idea is to show same theoretical approaches and some practical examples of the real estate market development. The monograph is made of 6 chapters. The first chapter depicts the fundamentals of the real estate market. It describes different theoretical approaches to this market, same specific features and models of this market. The second chapter has more practical character. It portrays links between the real estate market and economy. It concentrates on connection between the real estate market and financial market and underlines the importance of real estate as an investment vehicle. There are also mentioned some cyclical changes in the real estate market activity and their connections with business cycles. The third chapter introduces the problem of the real estate investment risk. There are mentioned various sources of risk and different measures and the problem of risk management. There is also a part of the chapter devoted to connections between risk and real estate valuation. The fourth chapter presents the level of the real estate market efficiency with respect to real estate value. There are mentioned analysis of the real estate market efficiency as an element of valuation process. There is also cross-country comparison of rate of return in different investments. The fifth chapter concentrates on real estate finance, especially with respect to banking activity. There are depicted various models of real estate finance and their advantages and weaknesses. The sixth chapter is devoted to the Polish real estate market. It describes the stages of the market development and concentrates on housing with respect to housing stock, building activity, financing, privatisation and social housing. This chapter also presents the Polish real estate market on the ground of the EEC real estate markets.
Omówiono strukturę rynku nieruchomości, przedstawiono powiązania rynku nieruchomości z gospodarką, naświetlając szczególnie związki z rynkami finansowymi. Podjęto rozważania teoretyczne nad ryzykiem inwestowania na rynku nieruchomości oraz metodami zarządzania tym ryzykiem. Omówiono związki pomiędzy efektywnością inwestycji w nieruchomości a wartością nieruchomości. Przedstawiono znaczenie kredytu jako podstawowego źródła finansowania inwestycji na rynku nieruchomości. Dokonano także oceny funkcjonowania rynku nieruchomości w Polsce.

The paper presents the results of a research of the impact of numerical integration algorithm and the method of solving the system of linear equations for the stability of the simulation of electric circuit in steady states and transient states. Stability criteria was explained. Mathematical modeling algorithm of the electric power line (steady states and transient states) was presented with elements of concurrent computing. The goal is to create a mathematical model of the electric circuit that will meet the requirements of the models used in simulators working in real time.

Let LX be the space of free loops on a simply connected manifold X. When the real cohomology of X is a tensor product of algebras generated by a single element, we determine the algebra structure of the real cohomology of LX by using the cyclic bar complex of the de Rham complex Ω(X) of X. In consequence, the algebra generators of the real cohomology of LX can be represented by differential forms on LX through Chen's iterated integral map. Let $\mathbb{T}$ be the circle group. The $\mathbb{T}$-equivariant cohomology of LX is also studied in terms of the cyclic homology of Ω(X).

Organizational socialization research has been criticized for being too focused on socialization as an adaptation process. Furthermore, critics contend that socialization approaches tend to be micro-biased; they lose sight of broader societal implications. This study tackles both critiques by combining an identity-based understanding of socialization with the communicative con cept of the polyphonic organization. It is not only individuals who engage in multiple identity work; business organizations also do so when exposed to contextual voices at the macro-level of society. Qualitative interviews and focus groups with corporate communication professionals, alumni, and students reveal that there are multiple voices shaping organizational socialization. However, one societal reference has proved to be hegemonic, namely the instrumental reasoning of the economic system: newcomers are expected to adapt to the ‘real world’ of ‘budgets.’

The article deals with the study of exhaust emissions from a combustion engine in the Real Driving Emission (RDE) test. These tests are a simulation of real conditions of use of motor vehicles. Nowadays, RDE tests are mandatory for Light Duty Vehicle (LDV) and Heavy Duty Vehicle (HDV) vehicles and in the future, restrictive standard. Euro 7, which combines stricter limits with a comprehensive RDE test cycle, is becoming a challenge for current vehicle engineering. The paper presents the results of pollutant emission tests from a passenger car (PC). In the tests of LDV in the RDE test, the results of which are analyzed in the article, the Portable Emissions Measurement System (PEMS) mobile exhaust emission testing system was used. The processes describing the operating states of the vehicle and the combustion engine, as well as the processes of exhaust emission intensity and the intensity of the number of particulate (PN), were examined. The correlation between the considered processes was investigated. The emission of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, particulate and carbon dioxide as well as the road PN were examined. The zero-dimensional statistical characteristics of the examined processes were also determined. The probability density and power spectral density of the processes were established. A great diversity was found in the properties of the process distributions, as well as in the dynamic properties of the processes. In the summary of the analysis of the results of the car speed process, the operating states of the combustion engine and the processes of exhaust emission intensity and the process of the intensity of PN in the RDE test, conclusions were formulated regarding, among others, course of the intensity of these compounds, correlation of the processes of pollution emission intensity and the intensity of the PN with the process of car speed, distribution of processes.

The heretofore undescribed case of a ruined Łódź villa from the thirties of the twentieth century, known as the so-called the House of Wasiak, binding with different images, still operates in the narrative of the residents of the Marysin area, and “the House of Wasiak” itself as a link in the local discourse-an element whose meaning is conditioned by the existence of another powerful signifier-should be regarded as the key to the understanding of the mechanisms shaping the complex picture of local relations. Relations that are standard for the Polish context of social, political and urban changes today being as they are a result of a truly palimpsestic buildup of stories and traumas.

Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje rozważania w przedmiocie stosowania przez deweloperów klauzul niedozwolonych. Stanowi próbę określenia istoty klauzul niedozwolonych oraz wskazania tych z nich, które są najczęściej stosowane przez przedsiębiorców na rynku nieruchomości. Przedstawia również zagadnienie kontroli niedozwolonych klauzul stosowanych przez deweloperów na rynku nieruchomości i sposoby przeciwdziałania im. Artykuł ten poddaje ponadto analizie kompetencje Prezesa UOKiK w przedmiocie zwalczania klauzul abuzywnych, które przyznane mu zostały na mocy nowo uchwalonej ustawy o ochronie konkurencji i konsumenta.
This article presents deliberations within the area of applying illicit clauses by developers. It is an attempt to specify the essence of illicit clauses as well as to define those which are most often applied by entrepreneurs on the real estate market. The article also presents the notion of inspecting illicit clauses, being applied by developers on the real estate market plus methods of counteracting them. Moreover, the article analyses the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection President’s competences within the area of fighting abusive clauses which have been awarded to them on the strength of a newly passed law on the Competition and Consumer Protection.

The municipality, acting in the sphere of dominium, independently decides on the use and manner of use of individual assets. However, the trade in real estate constituting the subject of ownership of this local self-government unit requires compliance with a number of legal regulations, the most significant of which is the Act of August 21, 1997 on Real Estate Management (consolidated text Journal of Laws of 2021 item 1899, as amended). However, none of the provisions of the law refers explicitly to the freedom and limits of shaping by the municipality of the terms and conditions for the disposal of real estate, which in the case of a non-tender route are determined in negotiations conducted with the buyer, while in the case of a tender they are announced in the contract notice. The content established in this manner is then included in the protocol, which forms the basis for the conclusion of the contract, and thus directly affects the shape of the contractual legal relationship. The purpose of the publication will therefore firstly be to set out the legal framework for the municipality’s determination towards the future buyer of the real estate of the specific manner, in which the investment is to be carried out, as well as to answer the question as to the real possibility of the former owner (municipality) co-shaping the investment proces on the sold real estate after the buyer has signed the contract. The importance of the issue under consideration is expressed in the decision as to whether the creation by the municipality of its own lex contractus by means of the terms and conditions for the disposal of the real estate relating to specific deadlines for the commencement and completion of the investment process, the manner of use and development of the real estate, as well as the liability of the new owner towards the previous owner for their violation, is legally effective and can actually be enforced by the municipality.

This paper explores the effect of inflation on general financial transactions and particularly on loans. For this purpose, inflation is specified in the mathematical expression of a capitalization or discounting function. Thus, we write these functions as the product of an inflation-free capitalization or discounting function and the law of variation of the money purchasing power. As an immediate consequence, we show that the instantaneous rate of a capitalization or discounting function is the sum of the instantaneous rates of each component. Later, this decomposition is applied to simple and compound financial transactions, leading to the equivalence among deflated amounts by means of an inflation-free capitalization or discounting function. This analysis is applied to a loan transaction where we introduce six methods to adjust the payments to the real inflation, because, in a beginning, these payments were calculated with the predicted inflation rates.

Cellular structures are characterized by a number of unique properties that can be successfully utilized in the construction of machines and vehicles. Their low density makes them an ideal filling material for laminated structures. The use of the proper method of foam production affects its structure (e.g. the distribution, openness and size of pores, wall thickness between pores etc.), consequently the material properties are affected. Another important issue is the material itself used for metal foam production, as materials meeting increasingly new requirements are being sought, among which are metal composite materials. This work presents theoretical considerations referring to foam making by comparing the water system to a real foam production system.

The article aims to identify the shortcomings of the statistics describing the size and structure of passenger car parc in Poland, and to formulate the consequences of these limitations for geographical research. Analysed in detail, the shortcomings are divided into three groups: (1) ‘dead souls’, i.e. an overestimation of the number of vehicles which have not been on the road for a long time but remain on the register; (2) ‘cars with a grid’ (cars registered as trucks in which the cargo part is separated from passenger seats by a metal grid), i.e. an underestimation of the number of passenger cars and overestimation of the number of trucks related to the mass phenomenon of registering passenger cars as large goods vehicles (LGV-approved cars); and (3) company cars, i.e. an overestimation of the number of vehicles in cities where leasing companies and large enterprises owning those cars have their headquarters. The article determines the scale of car ownership overestimation in Poland and the areas where this overestimation is the highest, using districts (PL: powiaty) as basic spatial units. We conclude that the present motorisation statistics do not fully re flect the real geography of car ownership in Poland.

The study presents an analysis of the communicative function of word in contemporary Indian poetry. With reference to Jerzy Smolicz’s concept of core values, it discusses several examples drawn from the poems of Ashok Vajpeyi with the aim at showing that, in the context of a multicultural and multilingual society, the language of contemporary Indian poems (in this case written in Hindi) not only remains in itself a core value, but it also becomes the prime carrier of axiological senses.

The authors present in detail the connections between the problem of real estate expropriation and the regulations of other legal acts and principles of the application of administrative law. The authors wanted to show that real estate expropriation is not a separate legal entity and that the interpretation of regulations must strictly comply with the development of legal and geodetic knowledge. It is equally important to consider newly appearing problems of getting real estates for public purposes and adjusting the statutory interpretation to present economic needs. Thus the attention was paid at the wide range of the institution of real estate expropriation, its tight link with civil law, spatial planning and the code of administrative procedures.
W artykule przedstawiono szczególne powiązania problemu wywłaszczania nieruchomości z przepisami innych ustaw i zasadami stosowania prawa administracyjnego. Autorkom zależało na pokazaniu, iż nie jest to samodzielna instytucja prawna i interpretacja przepisów musi pozostawać w ścisłym związku z rozwojem wiedzy prawniczej oraz geodezyjnej. Równie ważne jest uwzględnianie powstających nowych problemów nabywania nieruchomości na cele publiczne i dostosowanie wykładni do obecnych potrzeb gospodarczych. Stąd zwrócenie uwagi na szeroki zakres instytucji wywłaszczania nieruchomości, jej ścisłe powiązania z prawem cywilnym, planowaniem przestrzennym i kodeksem postępowania administracyjnego.

The invariants for the time-dependent one-dimensional harmonic oscillator and the time-dependent two-dimensional harmonic oscillator in a static magnetic field are derived from the real representation of the exact solution to the equation of motion. Mathematically, the orthogonal functions invariant is the angular momentum of an isotropic time-dependent two-dimensional harmonic oscillator. Based on the invariants obtained here, the wave function for time-dependent two-dimensional harmonic oscillator in a static magnetic field in cylindrical coordinate is simply derived and the dynamical and geometrical phases are easily got by expressing the wave function as the superpositions of the wave functions of time-dependent two-dimensional harmonic oscillator in rectangular coordinate. For the driven system, the driving induced dynamical phase and the geometrical phase are respectively associated with the classical Hamiltonian and de Broglie wave of the center motion of the wave function.

Opis:
The paper presents an energy analysis of hybrid propulsion systems on the basis of an elementary cycle and energy consumption to overcome the basic movement resistance and the acceleration resistance and the possibility of the recovery of vehicle kinetic energy during braking. Elementary driving cycle is composed of acceleration for a given speed, fixed speeds, braking and stopping phases. Authors presents also carried out road measurements of real city buses in the Silesian agglomeration. The framework carried out measurements of traffic speeds and recording gear change buses operating in an the Silesian agglomeration. Measurements were made for a random number of passengers changing at each stop. Measurements were made many times on individual driving distances, and the results averaged. A representative route for city buses operating in an urban area has been developed.
